  1. Lol?
  2. A few well timed tacnukes can destroy any turret. May take a few shots to drain their reps, but they only have a finite number of them.
  3. It also depends on the printer. There are some really nice inkjets out there.
  4. We're winning with replies, but still a little behind on topics.
  5. Well, that's kind of what mines are for...
  6. It goes onto the clip board. Paste it into an image editing program.
  7. WTF * 10
  8. It's an impossible thing to moderate currently. End of topic.
  9. Let me rephrase. This whole thread is talking about something that's not possible.
  10. Not possible.
  11. I have Cingular's prepaid service, and I've been reasonably content.
  12. That's quite simply not true.
  13. If you're in Quadrant I, yes. However, Continuum is Quadrant IV on a Cartesian coordinate system. Then it would use negative numbers. Also, while JoWie is correct about being able to leave the boundaries of the map with the portal glitch, I think what Evo. is talking about (I haven't seen this first-hand, so correct me if I'm wrong) is indeed being around 0,0. The top left corner of the outer edge of the hypertunnel wall is actually at 5,5. Meaning there's an open space that ships can fly around in if they somehow got in there. Of course, I still don't know what the glitch is that makes him spawn up there in the first place, but what seems to be a simple solution to me is plugging up the area in the top left with the black solid map border tiles. It's not the server spawning you there, mook. Filling in tiles wouldn't help anything. It'd only make it so you'd fly repeatedly into wormholes.
  14. Just because you don't see what the problem is doesn't mean that there is no problem.
  15. It's based on the ratio of your team's average exp to the everyone else's exp. So really great teams make almost no exp for winning. Newbie teams, however, can make quite a lot more.
  16. I fixed it.
  17. Continuum handles all spawning in HS (it used to be different). Unless a module is acting up, I'd say it's a cont bug or settings packet error. If you close cont all the way and reenter does it still do it?
  18. Hyperspace is one word.
  19. Yes, there used to be other arenas, and I hope that there will be again someday. That, however requires work on my part, and I have virtually no time. About all I can do now is check the forum twice a day. Spec shield is possible from a technical standpoint (removing xradar and having people use cloak might even work), but I'm not sure that there's an actual need (though I'm not unsure either). Permaportal wouldn't really be a good idea.
  20. If proj X ever comes out, it still won't be better. As for the lack of players, I have almost 0 free time these days, and I've been using it for other things like eating and sleeping rather than programming for SubSpace. Hope you guys will understand.
  21. Work is really hard to understand without integrals, and thermo is mostly just work calculations.
  22. I must say I expected that he was already dead at the time I first watched his show. He's just 10ish years late.
  23. If it's the perfect zone for myself, it'd be pretty good, eh? Blah blah blah. Not worth a reply. I've yet to see anyone do anything like what we've done. Yes, someone could, but I don't think you realize just how difficult it is. I have taken suggestions from players on many occasions. If I don't think it's a good idea, however, no amount of player requests will change my mind. It's my judgement that has made the zone worth arguing over, so I hope you'll trust my judgement to take it the rest of the way.
  24. That's an old screenshot, SD. It's been a while since I've had a rec that good.
  25. I like it, don't I?
