At the moment, there's no way to differentiate item limits between ships, beyond the already existing ship limitations. The greens wouldn't be possible, but I think smong may have done something with LVZs in his pirates zone. I'm not sure I want to turn HS into a Cosmic Rift style Rogue Trader though.

Some of these suggestions are ok, but I still don't feel that it will bring the shark into any significant role. I'm going to mull around with ideas and see what I come up with.

Lancs have always been meant to be carriers, only the problem is that I've never quite figured out how. Maybe they shouldn't be able to attach to other lancs.

What kind of boost were you suggesting? Speed and thrust don't make much sense in this case.

I like my zone, which is more or less the point. I figure there are a lot of people out there that have tastes like I do, and the fact that the zone hit 60 players today backs me up. Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of my players, and I like the zone community (though we seem to have more than our fair share of loud newbies), but that doesn't mean I'm going to let them make my decisions or that they know what's best for the zone. I listen to every suggestion, and every now and then I get a good one, and take it. But if there's something I don't want to do, it will never happen. That's the way it's been for the past 7 years, and that's the way it will be until the zone leaves my hands.

Yes, otherwise I'd just be making a copy of TW, because that's what players like. Stop wondering. I am. What's the point? People *DO* enjoy what *I* have made. My guess is they'll keep liking it if I keep making it. That's an invitation to have people go around it. That's why I don't have a computer moderate the zone. I don't want people thinking "sh!t" is ok. If someone's using questionable words, then they're missing the point altogether.

It's Dr Brain, not Dr. Brain. Get it right. For the record, I've never cared what my zone population has thought. I'm not making HS for them. I'm making it for me. Additionally, what other zones do and what I do are almost never the same thing, so saying "Zone X has no problem with swearing" is just about the most useless argument as far as I'm concerned. Gravitron has been banned from both the HS zone and the HS forums, so this thread can now die.

Not for the crash, but you seem to think we hate you and are out to cover up the truth that the vets really run the zone. Uh, then why did you post at all? That's because we know the truth, and hate you all.

Those "known hackers" will be banned shortly. We don't need ANY proof to refuse you a banfree, since it's us doing a favor for you. You demanding proof is rather insulting, really.

I talked to the mods, and it seems you have a history of cheating in HS when we were off of ssc. So there's really no good reason to give you the banfree.
