It's about time we had a reset, and arnk's given us a new kick!@#$%^&* item set. Not much more to say...

Suggesting fixes for a system that hasn't been deployed isn't the wisest thing to do.

I'm requesting that people that post in these forums not use huge ugly *animated* signatures. I've always frowned on animated images, but it wasn't a big deal because it let you know who the lame people were (e.g. James). Now these animated sigs take up 3x the space of the post, and make it impossible to read the forums from a remote site. While I can't (yet) make a rule against it, I'm *requesting* that people not use animations in their sigs.

Personally, I'd like to reform the entire flagging style to eliminate neuts, making these proposed changes not matter.

If you were using it to cheap kill and run from danger, then yes, you wasted your money. No refunds will be made. If, however, you were using it to move from sector to sector in the fastest possible way, then it's still fully functional and you should still be happy.

Further, I'd like to say that breaking the rules and complaining because no one else got punished is not a reason to lift a ban. Reclosed.

If I saw them doing it, I'd inform the players that it was a scam (and I've done so on a few occasions), but there's really no way we can stop it.

Mods aren't there to do either. They're there to enforce the rules. Unfortunately, stupidity and exploiting stupidity aren't illegal.

There would be no reason to put money in. The jackpot is split between a team. If you were on your own and won, you'd get all of your money back, but you could have just left it alone and had the same effect.

This time around, for example, I'd like to fix some of the crashing issues before I reset. Perhaps set up the arena limits to split people into two arenas too.

Zone usually goes 4 months between resets. The exact time is dictated by dev work that needs resets to introduce new things.

Gambling bots are not, and never have been run by the zone. If you lose money to them, there's nothing we can do. Period.

It's no cussing, not no swearing. If I were to start losing money for saying a word (or see someone else lose money) you'd better believe that I wouldn't start saying it repeatedly. You're idiots for doing that.
