The old reload didn't reload in the same sense you're using. It simply reprized items you already owned. It had nothing to do with buying. You also had to pay for it. So the comparison doesn't hold at all. They ignored you because mods are powerless to make development changes. You can try to hammer home how right you are, but it doesn't change the fact that you were talking to the wrong people. And somehow, you think it's their fault. Making a command to do what you suggest is pretty difficult with the current setup. So difficult that we haven't bothered to try. We have, however, done many other things to alleviate the issue you're talking about. Greens now give you ammo. We're finalizing an ammo viewer so you don't have to go to ?shipstatus to see how you're doing on ammo. Another thing I've been planning is making a buy switch (like -c, maybe -t or -f) that tries to buy up to a certain amount, so you can just try to buy max, and it'll buy what it can. Here's a temporary suggestion: make your macro buy half of the max, and use it every time you spawn. That way you'll never have less than half ammo.
