yup the lag isn't that bad. I used to have a big high too, but that was because of switching to windows with alt+tab. What kind of lag are you having? People jumping around or something like that?

The poll will be looked at, but staff only does something with it when its announced that it is going to be done. Since this poll has been started by The Maurauder (no offense, maur) I doubt there will be something done with it. Nonetheless, its always good to gain some feedback from the players as staff. AndurilFlameoftheWest, you know where the Enter key is located at your keyboard? How about trying to use it more. Maybe then people actually read your post (more).

Copy/Paste the output of ?lag please I think this is related to your ISP though. If you tried everything what has been suggested here before then it can't be your problem.

It might be possible with the help of a bot... but then the bot have to keep track of every special of every player and I know for a fact that is not quite possible or very hard to do with mervbot (f.ex bouncing bullets).

having losing kill packets explains why my duel bot sometimes screws up the score I believe mervbot automatically does *relkills 1 by default.

Do not use the installer from sscentral.com, use the installer of continuum 0.38 that Bargeld gave instead.

What I really suggest to do is to put 4 stationary flags in the exact middle of the map (where the announcebox used to be). Remove the movable flag and remove the flags from the base. What you get is a flagging game in the middle and a ballgame all around it. I'm sure this will work.
