  1. Try using one of the proxy servers made for continuum: http://www.ssdownloads.com/index.php?act=r...ighlight=1&cat=
  2. Thanks for your replies guys. However I am not going to use it anymore because I am leaving SS for good. Thanks alot anyway
  3. The last message to make is here. Yup you read it right! The pain-in-the-!@#$%^&*, but correct, SMod of 17th Parallel is going away! Open up a bottle of champagne! You have got something to celebrate! Thank you 17th Parallel players for being such a big pain in the !@#$%^&*, always whining about everything you can whine about, never giving any "thank you" when another staff member has put his precious time into hosting one of YOUR requested events! Thank you I have a life in front of me that I going to enjoy to the fullest. Have fun in SSCU 17th Parallel and try to think with the staff instead against them. Have fun are the keywords here, because thats what this game is all about. Goodbye guys Maybe I see you around some day, maybe not. Anyway, good luck in your life. -MMaverick
  4. Hiya For my little plugin I need to know where doors are on the map. I have seen that Mervbot has some kind of 'Map' list, like the flaglist. However I don't know how to use it. I was thinking someting like this _listnode <Map> *parse = map->head; Â Â while (parse) { Tile *t = parse->item; sendPublic("Tile at "+ String(t->x) + "," + String(t->y) + ":" + String(t->type)); parse = parse->next; } Only problem is that there is no class 'Map' in Mervbot. Same for 'bricklist'. Does someone know how to do this?
  5. Christmas is here to stay http://home.hccnet.nl/ton.werdler/MerryChristmas.gif
  6. The staff of SSCU 17th Parallel wishes everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year! http://home.hccnet.nl/ton.werdler/MerryChristmas.gif Best wishes, 17th Parallel Staff
  7. Send an email to the email address that is showed on the same message that tells you that you are banned from the zone / network. Maybe someone used your name to break the rules with or your IP matches one earlier made ban.
  8. Problem: User can't download zones from a directory server. It doesn't seems to be a problem with the directory server list. Recommended solution: Windows XP SP2: Goto Start / Settings / Control Panel / Windows Firewall. Click on off then click on OK. Windows XP SP1: Goto Start / Settings / Control Panel / Network Connections. Right click on the connection you use for the internet (probably Local Area Connection), click on Properties. Goto the Advanced tab. Clear the check in front of 'Windows Firewall' then click OK. Current status: Awaiting response from user
  9. You don't need to be a physicist to figure out / make this hack work

  11. Problem: User can't download zones from a directory server Recommended solution: Please try putting 'sscentral.sscuservers.net sscentral.subspacehq.com sscentral.subspace.net' on the Add/Update Zones dialog. Then try again. Current status: Awaiting response from user
  12. pointless
  13. You should have a thumbs up smiley. That is something I really miss with IPB Animated: http://www.best-realty.ru/cool/emotions/thumbs-up.gif | http://www.dancefrontdoor.co.uk/forum/style_emoticons/default/spoton.gif | http://www.dancefrontdoor.co.uk/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif Not animated: http://www.thedoctorslounge.net/downloads/smilie/thumbs-up.gif Winking: http://www.onder!@#$%^&*els.info/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_arrow.gif
  14. GD it isn't erased. http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showtopic=6295 Don't be too quick with your judgement <_<
  15. Can't be that. I own a 64-bit Acer Notebook and I am running Windows XP 32 bit on it (64 bit isn't out yet). Not a single problem with continuum.
  16. That "!@#$%^&*head" of yours was because of the crash this forum had and it used a backup to restore all the messages - but not the newest ones. Don't be too quick with your judgement
  17. Why do you think that screenshot is faked?
  18. What is your computer configuration, what is your operating system? Already tried updating your video drivers, sound drivers, directx, windows updates?
  19. The bountyrecord bot hasn't dissapeard, its just down for a while (bot hosting problems once again). I will check the terrier record, but I must say that the !bountyrecord can't be changed; simply because there is no such command on the bot to do that.
  20. To be clear about optional graphics, flash fish: Optional graphics are certain lvz files that are set as optional in rumble. If you have optional graphics off (Continuum Main Menu / View / Options / Other / "Use Optional Graphics and Sound") then you won't see the colored ships but the normal, default, ships. The normal, default, ships are then the warbird, spider and such because those ships have gotten a different "skin" that is the jav with another color. So.. Optional graphics OFF: You see the warbird, spider, shark, etc. Optional graphics ON: You see the colored javelins Why is this done? 1) For people that don't want to download the extra graphics that make the ships to colored javelins (around 1.025 kB, 1 MB) 2) For people that want to use their own shipset (you can download such from ssdownloads.com )

    Delic

Someone really took Delic's topics serious My advice ... don't
  22. QUOTE(ER>Incomplete @ Dec 17 2004, 03:13 PM)How about colours when optional graphics are on then just jav v jav when optional graphics are off? instead of having every ship with jav settings <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That can't be done without any lvz that you need to download, inc.
