good question. Downloads of a single client doesn't go above 30 kb/s. Playing of a single client also doesn't go above around 30 kb/s (but way lower). Multiply this by the number of clients / players going to play your zone. Maybe someone knows the exact answer to this?

Each zone / server uses its own port. I don't know which port is used for downloading the zone list though.

Something is preventing you to enter the different graphics (windows) mode that you need to see the game. Are there any programs running on the background? Did you install / uninstall something lately what might been the cause of this problem? Did you change your resolution of your desktop or of the game lately?

Location? Home / School Type of internet connection? How are you connected to the internet? Do you share your internet connection?
