Crap didn't know it was illegal :/ I thought I finally found something legal.

Hey, I don't want to advertise, I just want to let you know what I discovered today. I wanted to have some albums but searching on Limewire or bittorrent is costing me too much time and hassle. So I searched for some legal alternatives but it shouldn't cost me the same amount of money as in the store since I don't want to have another cd - I want it digital. I googled and googled until I looked at allofmp3.com. It's certainly good looking (and easy to use) so I began thinking "what's the catch, what is the ripoff here?". But !@#$%^&*, let's just try it out. So I searched for an artist, Radiohead in this case and once I seen the prizes I was a bit dazzled. It was so cheap that it couldn't be real. I calculated my total for the 7 (!) albums I was about to buy. It would cost me something around $14. I can't even buy a single album in the shop here for that much money. So.. how to get money onto there. Well they aren't accepting Mastercard so that posed a problem, but it can be done through XROST so I tryed that. XROST works well but there is too much registering. I registered at XROST but then you also need to register at ClickAndBuy which XROST uses. Fortunately everything worked out quite well, it was even possible to wire transfer my money. Too bad you can only choose out of number of coupons (iCards) from XROST; $10.00, $15.00, $20.00, $30.00, $40.00, $60.00 and $100.00. If you have buyed an iCard you get two numbers which you can enter at allofmp3.com to increase your balance. I bought the albums for only +/- $25 (yea I wanted the CD quality) and I'm now downloading it (with this nice allTunes program). !@#$%^&*, if it's this easy, why download albums illegally? Anyone else have (bad?) experiences with this? or maybe I'm quite behind and everyone is already using this? lol

You know it's against policy of most advertising asking people to click on a banner. Also, that is not how it works with advertising - people click a banner because they like to know more, not because someone said "you can use my site but only if you click this banner". Yea, Simple File Sharing is mine but it has an upload limit of 50 MB. It's only meant for small files It's also set up differently then megaupload and rapidshare since you can see eachothers files. That makes it easy.

I will take your suggestion into consideration, XDOOM SOS, the statistics are using only a database for data storage. Storing the data via another way (saving pictures) would only make another copy of the data, pictures can also be way more difficult or different to handle. I'd rather use the database for comparing (would be easier and work better) then saving pictures each week.

You are having the same resolution in full screen as you are using in windows right ? You do have the latest video drivers and tested directdraw with Directx's dxdiag program ?

hm I guess that can be done. It can be done by adding a date input box to the compare page to select the period. Only problem I see is the database size. It's already quite big (5 mb) for the week data it holds, I wonder how big it can get before Dock> starts to scream Oh it can be huge. Trenchwars's database is 15 GB already lol

I am trying to achieve this archiving by making a monthly and yearly graph, however at some point the graphs should be converted to flash graph. Those flash graphs will give the possibility to go from the yearly graph and zoom in until the day graph.

Have you tried a different resolution or switch to windowed instead of full screen (or other way around) ? Make sure you have your latest video drivers (for your video card) and directx.

I have never heard of anyone getting priority over another in a wireless network. Ask him to limit his bandwith usage?

Hey, I made an update to the stats.trenchwars.org site: A monthly graph ! It seems to work alright. If it keeps working alright I will even add a yearly graph in the future. We'll see how it goes. If you have comments/suggestions that doesn't require a complete overhaul of the website/program, let me know

Lag is usally not related to your computer at all; you can reinstall all you want, it won't better your lag. Do a trace to the server you are playing from within continuum then Export the results and attach/post them here.

Yes but the software must protect the user from its own mistakes. I must say that FF is doing a better job in that then IE.
