Don't make too much forums in the root, it gets really messy and it gets hard to get the complet overview. Put more forums into subforums

Why do you want those subforums password protected aswell? the private subforum already protects them because they are inside that.

It's best to install directx through http://www.windowsupdate.com since it can detect what you are running and what's best for you.

Avalible resolutions when running on multiple monitors

Go to View / Advanced Options and tick/untick "Show Default Resolutions". I think you're problem is that your video card doesn't officially support those weird resolutions so they are hidden by default. You can force Windows another resolution though, like you did with 2560x1024. (Mind that you don't set your screen to 60 Hz because that's bad for your brain - no joking.) You can subscribe to this topic so you get email notifications if someone replied. -
The original ships are from subspace and the original 3D files of the ships are probably lost. Someone might have recreated them and released the image you link in your post but I doubt those 3D files are available aswell.

When you download or create a banner, you must place the .bmp file inside your continuum/banners directory: C:\Program Files\Continuum\banners In game, you can then set the banner in spectator mode pressing Esc + b.
