My Continuum client can't make a connection to the directory server sscentral.com here though. Firewall issue perhaps? Yes, I figured nobody would really be interested. I'm keeping the domains registered just so they stay in the community and can be used if anyone would want to do something with them.

Lynx, Which domain would you like to use? I can't give you ss-network.net and sshq.net as there are still a few subdomains in use under these. Do you want subspacehq.com, .net or .org ? I will then assign the nameservers of the domain to yours so you can use it for your website hosting. Polix, The stats are reporting the directory server is down (you can test with directoryclient-web.php), directoryservers.sshq.net can't connect either and Continuum can't connect either.

Take a look at TWCore: http://www.twcore.or...runk/twcore/src It's already in java and has about 60% of the available (subspace) packets implemented. If you need to export the source code from TWCore's Subversion repository, you need an account which you can create on http://www.twcore.org/register .

I own a few subspace domains and recently I even acquired subspace.net. The domains aren't serving any purpose, apart from redirecting to subspace.co . ss-network.net (subdomains in use) sshq.net (subdomains in use) subspace.net (in use by Lynx) subspacehq.com subspacehq.net subspacehq.org subspace2.com subspace2.org I would like the domains to be put to good use, so anyone who has a subspace-related website or intends to create one, can use these domains. Anyone interested?

I just noticed that Subspace Downloads is back online (?) on http://www.ssdownloads.com ! All the links to subspacedownloads.com do not work though. EDIT: It seems that TestTube moved hosting over to HostGator.

BlueT/SSCV Going Offline Indefinitely June 30th
Maverick replied to L.C.'s topic in General Discussion
BlueT and SSCV zones and T3 The Gauntlet! are gone. Seems like alot of zones didn't bother to move to another server and quit. Thanks for your work, L.C. Take care -

Do an advanced search on 'Steam' by author 'Polix' (he is the one that is actively working on it). The most recent search result is in this topic.

Why is this guy trying to impersonate me? Nevermind, he was impersonating me with his avatar and exact same signature.
-
I've contacted Wonderer about it and we're working on getting it back online as soon as possible.

You can always get the client at http://www.getcontinuum.com Have fun!

I think Invision has forgotten to convert special characters in usernames to HTML entities somewhere

I'm not stupid, Cheese. I've read that topic already. Since I've been SMod and head bot developer in Trench Wars for a while I know a bit of what was going on on the server
-
Thanks. After reading some topics on forums.trenchwars.net I understand what has happened. I guess the server gave up on Dock's bittorrent habits :>
-
Is it only me or are the Trench Wars forums and the website down for quite some time now? Does anyone know what the problem is?

I don't like Continuum either but just for the newbies's sake, I would choose to call it Continuum as much as possible. As soon as the newbies learn more about the game, they'll realize the game was once called SubSpace and the server software is still called like that (well more or less - isn't the official name 'Subgame'?). Whatever we choose, it would be best if we just choose one and stick with that. Keeping either just creates the confusion we're in now.

If I were you, I would not install any extra software for defragmenting the drives as Windows is capable of doing that by itself: http://downloadsquad.switched.com/2009/01/26/how-windows-7-handles-disk-defragmenting/

The download link on the dcme.sscentral.com website doesn't work: http://dcme.sscentral.com/?view=download redirects to http://forums.ssgn.net/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=1 It should redirect most likely to http://files.ssgn.net/category.php?id=14

http://i45.tinypic.com/2954ady.png @Hoch, the owner and system operator of SSCU Death Star Battle, has posted a message to the zone's news.txt stating that he is stepping down immediatly from his position as server owner, zone owner and system operator. Hoch appoints Liito as the new owner and Entr0py as the new Head Sysop. His reasons for stepping down come from matters in his personal life; his wife is suffering from ongoing illness which he must divert his attention to, leaving none to spend in his position in Death Star Battle: As sad Hoch's reasons may be, the question that comes to everybody's mind is how Death Star Battle will do under the new appointed leaders. Discuss this subject on SSGN's forums or on the Death Star Battle forums.
