  1. Just a bit of info, as far as I know sscuservers.net is owned by Priitk. Good luck with that
  2. AhmedF please go !@#$%^&* yourself and GTFO our forum. !@#$%^&*ing !@#$%^&*hole.
  3. Nope, not that I know of. It's not up to the user to decide/control that.
  4. LOL at that sig, syrus. Where did you get that from?
  5. It should work but usually you won't be able to find a proxy that allows connections on ports that Continuum uses and even if it does, the connection isn't better then your own connection. (way way worse instead)
  6. The zone is down. Can you post some screenshots? Sonic VI didn't provide you anything, anyone can make such a forum. See http://www.invisionfree.com/.
  7. I believe several attempts were made by Polix, GhostShip and others of getting it revived/rebuild but it all stopped when it came down to Priitk I think. Polix knows best.
  8. [Moved to Space Bridge]
  9. Try "avoid page flipping" under advanced options
  10. Well Polix is meaning a bit different chat then just a single chatroom of the forum. You'll see
  11. If you are in need of webhosting related to Continuum, I can offer it for free. Just reply with the name of the subdomain. You can pick a name of a subdomain of ss-network.net or a subdomain of sshq.net. For example, coffee.ss-network.net or whiteknight.sshq.net . If you have a domain of your own you can use that aswell. You'll get full FTP, database and webpanel access (for managing e-mail addresses and more). Bandwith is under a fair-use policy but almost unlimited, you'll get 1 GB of webspace but if you need more it'll be increased Let me know your (sub)domain, name and e-mail address. Reply here or contact me on . Currently hosted websites: http://starwars.sshq.net http://creemy.ss-network.net http://charis.ss-network.net http://viro.sshq.net http://dream.sshq.net
  12. Issue solved, topic closed
  13. Well Polix still has to update the subspace guide bar thing on top. (what was it named again? I keep forgetting)
  14. Done
  15. I believe Chambahs asked catid once if he would like to adminster mervbot.com which he didn't reply to. Maybe you can ask him again whenever you meet him, Chambahs? Syrus, there is no "official" site anymore. Catid probablyy stopped caring and I only put up mervbot.com so it would be found by newer players and it remains online somewhere. I even doubt catid.sscontinuum.com was still maintained by him.
  16. http://www.mervbot.com is much better
  17. So boring
  18. Dreamhost is very good and practically free. When you click the link you can get a full $97 discount, so a Level 1 ("Crazy Domain Insane!") 1 year plan with 150 GB disk space and 1500 GB bandwidth per month and a free domain name will only cost you $23. I'm not trying to get you into buying it but it's so cheap it's nuts . I have it myself too and everything works perfectly. Good control panel, nice dreamhost blog and status blog and uptimes are good too. It's shared hosting so uptimes aren't 100% but it has surprised me the uptime never went below 99% (check twcore.org - bottom right). If you need ss-related hosting, I can give you that for free on ss-network.net or sshq.net. EDIT: If you have a domain already, I can hook you up just the same and give you free webhosting. I got tons of space and bandwith I never use myself
  19. Yea but it's gone now, live with it
  20. [Topic split]
  21. Hm you bought a vBulletin license already or got that version illegally (like mine) ? I'd say it would be waste to throw away IPB now. (license-wise) Why has SSForum switched from vBulletin to IPB in the past ?
  22. Visit http://stats.trenchwars.org and check out the long list of zones in the "others" select box for some ideas.
  23. ah nice I've also put up a vBulletin v3.6.7 test forum at http://vbulletin.ss-network.net just for testing sake. I disabled any registration checks so it's quite easy to register and test out the forum. Test it out as much as you want. If you need administrator, let me know and I will make you admin there.
  24. I really hate that forum of Trench Wars. Mostly because when I read all topics in a specific forum, I go back to the home, refresh and the forums are still set as unread. This is something that vBulletin probably already solved since Trench Wars's forum hasn't been updated for .. like.. ages. I must say I like IPBoard's Web 2.0 features incl. ajax features. I don't like it for being massive in loading (you see it takes a while and notice it's heavy) though.
  25. All you need is a new SSC network to solve this. Quite undoable though.
