  1. There's nothing wrong with spelling ASSS as ASSS.
  2. He was really a bad person to pick, I mean what plumbers do you know make a quarter of a million a year?
  3. I thought the pics weren't bad at all.
  4. Those are wonderful pics, PoL. Thanks for sharing.
  5. QFT. Whoever was responsible for overseeing this process should be removed from their post, IMHO. This is a pretty serious error to make.
  6. What Hoch said. QFT.
  7. I wasn't surprised by the outcome either.
  8. Heh, yeah. That was the entire premise the Stargate series were based off of.
  9. Still a stupid gaffe if you ask me. If someone extends a hand to you, you should shake their hand first, then introduce whomever you want to introduce.
  10. I'm personally of the opinion that there is intelligent life out there, but will also note that there is no scientific evidence that such life actually exists.
  11. I guess I'll go ahead and make this thread. Opinions on who won?
  12. as always QFT
  13. ROFL. Sad, and it's sick to laugh at something like this, but ROFL.
  14. True... I will admit that I may have unwittingly become a victim of Ivory Tower Syndrome.
  15. The only problem I see is that she either knew about that data and ignored it, or she didn't know about the data. The data is - or should be - pretty generally known by this point as it is hardly new or controversial. In either case it's somewhat alarming because I for one certainly don't want to have a stupid or ignorant VP.
  16. I think you're clutching at straws, SeVeR. Personally, I have no problem with women having many children, nor have I ever had a problem with women having many children. As stated, medically it's a very bad idea for women to have children in their 40's. This is not to say that it's wrong for women to have children in their 40's, but generally from a strictly medical, scientific, or statistical perspective it's not the wisest thing to do. Children born to women in their 40's are at significantly increased risks of suffering from a whole range of symptoms and diseases, such as Down syndrome (which Trig Palin suffers from). This is a fact based upon rigorous research, this is not an 'excuse' at all. Here is a table that shows nicely the correlation between the frequency of Down syndrome and maternal age.
  17. Depends on how you define 'wrong'. My sole point has been to state the fact that from a medical, scientific, or statistical point of view, it is not a wise thing for a woman to give birth to a child in her forties. I do not believe I have indicated that doing so was 'wrong', only that doing so was 'foolish' (although I am not going to bother to review all of my previous posts in this thread - so if I did, inadvertently, use the term 'wrong' in one or more previous posts I made here, I apologize for the error).
  18. I didn't bother reinventing the wheel. If you doubt me enough, register and see. Otherwise, trust in what I said.
  19. What candy said.
  20. I still administrate it, officially. Notice also the StellarForum Credits.
  21. What FMBI said. Of course it's possible for a woman to give birth to a healthy child in her forties. It's also possible to become a billionaire by gambling in Vegas casinos. It's just statistically an unwise thing to attempt.
  22. doc flabby's post FTW
  23. Well, I'm mentioning it 'cuz some of us there are trying to get an effort together to develop the game once the source code is released (which should happen in the near future).
  24. If interested this game originally developed by S!@#$%^&*ock Corporation in the '90's and updated through the early '00's offers a prime platform and opportunity for development. Elements of S!@#$%^&*ock's later Galactic Civilizations game were based off of Stellar Frontier. For more information the official website and forum may be of interest.
  25. Personally I think it's related to the environment. I arrived at this based on a little personal experiment I've been conducting on and off over the past year or so... When I hung out with lots of guys, and read plain erotic material 'designed' for men, my sex drive went up, and mentally I predominantly desired 'no-strings-attached' 'casual' sex without romance. When I ditched the guys and the above-mentioned plain erotic material, spent more time with my (platonic) female friends, and read lots of erotic romantic novels written by and for women, my sex drive went down somewhat, and mentally I predominantly desired romance, with sex being optional and not a major concern.
