  1. Yeah. Er, sorry, but I'm not sure what exactly you want us to do? Are you saying we should add a disclaimer to Catid's biller saying that it isn't worth trying to fix?
  2. I'm not sure about its current status. Last I heard from doc flabby, there were still some minor bugs that needed to be ironed out...
  3. I would greatly appreciate if both of you would kindly quit polluting my thread with your drivel.
  4. If it were bug-free and stable, I'd certainly be willing to put it up on GetContinuum.com. Obviously, I can't speak for the other major SS sites, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't put it up too.
  5. @PoLiX: Thanks for the constructive feedback. We'll definitely look into updating the links' descriptions. @Lynx: Sorry it isn't iPhone compatible. @root: Randomly bashing me isn't going to make you look 'cool', so just give it up. @Rii: Heh yes. Tbh I'm not overly concerned although I am always open to learning from each 'experience'. @All complainers: Yes, many of you have valid points; thanks for bringing them up. RiiStar and I strive to deliver the best product we can; rest !@#$%^&*ured we will be working to address all of your points. In the meantime, please don't be overly critical. Neither Rii nor I are getting paid for this, and one glance at some other major SS sites (which I won't name) should illustrate nicely that while MERVBot.com could be greatly improved, it is at least complete and functional.
  6. Yes it was a knee-jerk reaction. The old site was functional, agreed, but let's face facts: no offense to Catid, but it was really rather ugly. In any case though, what's done is done, so debating whether the makeover was warranted or not is sort of besides the point now. Let's just say that I agree that it needs to be fixed at some point, and leave it at that.
  7. Thanks Purge. Agreed; edited my original post.
  8. Well, the old layout looked pretty bad. I will agree that it didn't really need a makeover, though. Taking the same logic further, though, we don't really need GetContinuum.com, or SSWiki, or any of a variety of other useful sites. True, and these will be addressed. I don't see the fire though; it's not like the site claims to be validated. Honestly, do you put every webpage you view through validation?
  9. If you have specific suggestions or comments on what you'd like to see added (or taken out) at MERVBot.com, please post them here - RiiStar and I will be happy to hear from you! If you want to submit a plugin or other resource to the site, please email me and/or RiiStar; our email addresses can be found at MERVBot.com in the footer of each page. Be sure to include the following information in your email: 1) the plugin or resource itself, preferably with the source (if applicable); 2) brief description of your plugin or resource (feel free to check the plugins page for other people's descriptions); 3) your main SubSpace/Continuum username/alias; 4) whether you want to be credited on the site (or if you would prefer to keep it as an anonymous submission); 5) if you want to be credited, whether you want to include an email address as well. Any questions feel free to post in this thread or email one or both of us!
  10. As previously noted, Rii deserves at least -90% of the credit for this release. Rii made the design (including all images) and coded and formatted the "Core Package" index page. I made the "Plugins/Addons," "Tutorials/Articles," "MISC Apps," and "Links/Resources" pages based on the "Core Package" index page Rii coded and formatted. In any case, glad you approve of the final product.
  11. But of course that's old news already.
  12. At long last... RiiStar and I are proud to release the new MERVBot.com!!! Click HERE to VISIT IT!!! I want to thank RiiStar a ton for all of the work he put into this awesome release; he deserves at least -90% of the credit for what you see at MERVBot.com now. This isn't the end of our MERVBot.com overhaul though; we'll be adding further enhancements to the site in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled! I'll be starting a thread shortly in the General Development board here with information on how to submit plugins or other resources to the site & how to request changes to the site.
  13. ^^ What NBVegita said. It's not like we're talking about (only slightly) more esoteric stuff like charm or dark energy, after all.
  14. True. And yet there needs to be some unoffensive, PC way of referring to these people as a group. You might as well attempt to do away with the terms "woman" and "female" while you're at it.
  15. Or maybe it's not just a "cultural desire" but also a lack of easily obtainable, safe, and reliable contraceptives? Especially stuff that women can use, like the pill, Depo-Provera, the patch, diaphragms, cervical caps, or the ring.
  16. "How dare you use a condom? You just killed millions of potential babies!!!" Yeah, unprotected sex FTW.
  17. It's usually safe to do a ?help [is [behavior] legal?] and if the answer is that said behavior is, in fact, against zone rules (i.e. illegal), then you can do a ?cheater [[player] is doing [behavior]] when the "problem player" is acting up.
  18. Sounds alarming. Glad I don't leave/re-enter the US often.
  19. I agree, although as a barrister I am sure you are aware of the importance of these distinctions in certain issues.
  20. No offense Hoch but it appears that you are attempting to overgeneralize. The fact that most Arab and Pakistani Americans are Muslims does not mean that all Arab and Pakistani Americans should be considered Muslims.
  21. Experience didn't stop Clinton from voting for the Iraq War. Experience didn't stop McCain from advocating a gas tax break. While the fact that McCain has more political experience than Obama is indisputable, quite frankly I'd rather have a less experienced but sensible fellow in the White House than a more experienced but fanatical war hawk in there.
  22. Implications aside, clearly that quote in your signature is a fabricated quote. Obama never used those exact words. Furthermore,
  23. Indeed, I find it utterly re!@#$%^&*ed that people in this day and age would still attempt to deny a woman's right to use contraception.
  24. Just hit F5.
  25. Psst: It was fine before too.
