  1. Continuum is conflicting with some other program. Try to shut down all other programs. It could also be some badly made spyware app, check your computer for spyware too.
  2. Try all the steps that have been recommended here and let us know how they go.
  3. I am unpinning this since this is useless to the general public. This is only useful if a server is hosting lots of maps in plain form, so... yeah. If any such server appears, the owner can be e-mailed to fix this.
  4. Woot! Woot! This is super! Stickied
  5. Well, try messing with the BIOS settings for AGP. If drivers don't help, that might. I can't imagine what else could be done - sounds like a (very odd) hardware problem. Hard to understand, too, without seeing it. I assume you have tried VSync on?
  6. You can also try putting both of the bm2 files in the same lvz file.
  7. But how did this start?
  8. Hmm... when did the problem start? Or has it always done this? Try upgrading the motherboard drivers too.
  9. No size limits. Wav will surely be playable, not sure about others - haven't tried it before.
  10. Ah, so it's a browser-fix thing. I see.
  11. First, what exactly do you mean by "doesn't show up"? I'll assume you mean "the lvz isn't downloaded" for now. Are you sure both lvz files are in Misc:LevelFiles? Did you perhaps use some weird/invalid syntax in the setting?

    1600x1050

Yes, it should support any resolution offered by the system.
  13. Mm, ok. I've never seen mime types actualloy used before I can understand that servers+browsers use them (even though I'd still go with extensions) but I can't really see when another program would have use for it. Could you give me an example?
  14. Try older drivers first. Make sure to uninstall the newer drivers before installing older ones too. If that doesn't fix it, tell me what your FPS is (press F when the ESC menu is open to show it - it's a small red number at the top of the screen).
  15. Sounds rather useless... what's all this for?
  16. If someone attaches a farm animal sound, I'll make it play
  17. Heheh, yeah... OK, fine... development it is... I'll make a loader for the game that'll play a farm animal sound. That should do it
  18. Well that would be difficult since modifying the Continuum exes/dlls which store the sound... does not work well
  19. Unfortunately, that's not a supported feature yet.

    low FPS

Low FPS basically means that your graphics card draws the game too slow - in some extreme cases the game might kick you for that, although I have never seen it happen yet. What zone are you trying to enter? Does this happen in all zones? You can show the FPS counter by pressing F when the ESC menu is on the screen. It's a little red number to the left of the energy bar.
  21. Well, if your server is your own computer, you don't need any FTP... Just run the two exes and that's all. Now when you are logged in as sysop, you can press esc+c to change the settings.
  22. This makes me curious... what's so important about the time the vote ended?
  23. Nononono! That'll download the file to your computer and run it there! Note: You cannot run this on a web server! If you do not use a web server, ask the admin for help on how to run things.
  24. And of course run it the right way. (There is no special way. It'll go wrong only if you do some funky !@#$%^&* - should run just fine if you simply execute it.) Describe how you run it if you can't get it to work.
  25. You run both on the server. If it asks for the zlib.dll then maybe the working directory is not right so it tries to run in another directory.
