What trouble did I cuase that day when my ban free was taken from me? I was talking in spec chat perfectly fine with everyone in there. The only starting -*BAD WORD*- was Net who couldn't believe, me, joker, knows things about a pc...... First to Net, your a bunch of -*BAD WORD*-. Explody Thing came in a warned me about the ?help messages, but I only did them becuase Tapzu would not die. I can't help that when someone shoots a lot of bullets at me and I turn around and run right through the person and he doesn't die I get upset and want someone to come in there and watch him. But you never even said anything to me about that before this net, so stop making every excuss in the book to answer Shaylees question. To Maka, first I remember when you were geedion, all you did was follow me around and even played in the same ship as I did in pub. And you always asked to join my chats and squads I made, so don't give me that crap about you only did it to be-freind me, certainly when you know I don't care about anyone on that game. And you people always say I'm a whiner this and that, well can you people prove me wrong? How many people have you heard "wow" from when they play against the same people I complain about. And Maka I do believe when you first got dsl when the server was still in europe, you sucked.... You ran smoothly on my screen and couldn't seem to stop dying. oh yea net, the one funny thing about you is, you were the one bragging about knowing about hacking/cracking/and other -*BAD WORD*-, but when someone else says it, it's bad, right? Plus I never cuased any trouble in 17th without someone arguing back with me. I never harr!@#$%^&*ed anyone, I dont care to ever either, I just dont like people messing with me, so I stick up for myself, but I guess thats a bad thing huh? Either way, I did nothing wrong, all I did was tell what I know, I never said I cheated on SS, nor did I ever give actual source code data to anyone. Everytime I asked a mod to investigate a cheater, they would always tell me they needed hard evidence from the person to ban them, and even if they confessed to cheating, they couldn't get banned for it, becuase it could be a joke, a well illaberated joke. Actually I've had tons of people say they like it and tons to say they don't. You have no ground to speak on, atleast to me, you have no clue what my map could do for the zone, all you see is it isn't the regular 17th public map that you so love. I can't help my map doesn't fit your certain needs, but coming on a forum where the topic clearly says "Explaining my public map" and shooting down my whole idea that took so long to think out is just rude of you. Whats funny to me is that someone gets banned for something either a Moderater with powers did or some glitch in the map had. I mean you staffers should thank Bran for pointing out that there are still ways to get that stoopid ball out of the main base. And wasn't this a problem for awhile now? I mean we do have a dev team who makes all these pretty things like maps, tiles, etc..., but can't take the time to fix a glitch in the map we have now.... If anything I think bran should've been warned the first time and banned for atleast 2 days the next time.... I mean it isn't the players fault they have a good time on the expense of some graphical glitch by a map maker. I mean your banning veterans here, Brans been loyal to 17th for awhile, cut him some slack, you staffers whine about how the zone is dying when your getting rid of the people who are keeping the -*BAD WORD*-ing place alive. For one, me, I got banned becuase of Yapzu, someone who hardly ever plays 17th but on weekends and also takes away the population of 17th to DSB.... I mean I guess I did wrong by speccing Yapzu that game, but I did what a "professional" who see's (with common sense knowledge) odd things happening when someones playing... And what me? No I haven't played this zone for awhile now have I? no no, not me.... sigh whatever... Either way, this is exactly what keeps this zone from growning, yet no one really even see's what's happening here.... It's like you all want this zone to stay small so you have some meaning in this world... Well Bran, you will be back on the simple fact that 17th is an addicting zone, not on the map or gameplay, but on the arguments that go on here. Everyone here, including me, has ego's the size of mount rushmore... Everyone in this game plays it to be the best, thats why they keep trying to improve their skills (even if it means altering things around to make them play better), but yet no one will ever be the "best" on the simple fact that we are all real people with common sense to dodge a bullet/bomb... Well i'm getting off topic so I'll conclude this now. I rather spawn in a safe area where I dont end up spawning in the middle of a battle and dying again and again..., or having to leave for some odd reason real quick and coming back and seeing that you've died about 100+ times... You say my maps slow, but you've never seen a lot of people play it.... I mean your jumping to conclusions about something you haven't even seen in affect yet. Yes, the ball field is a bit away, but not far, it's enough to where if you killed the entire other team they'd have to fly "omg" about 10 seconds to get back into it.... Also anti-warp is a added bonus for any ship, if someone has it on, then that's to bad for the people who want to warp now isn't it? Poor them, now they have to waste time out their lives to fly somewhere, like they weren't doing that kind of stuff already.... You say it's the traditional maze type map....? When it's not, yes parts are, but I made many different obstacles to go through then just twisty passages. You haven't even played it yet. Actually you dissed my map from day one Madhaha, so why would I take constructive critacism from you? Yet again you say it's going to be slow, but again you've never seen it in action. I've never seen in any zone where the action is slow all the time... Your gonna have slow moments and yet again your gonna have your fast paced war action moments... I'm not accpeting for a entire team to hold every single flag in the map... I wanted it like this so people would have to organize teams to hold off oppenents at certain points on the map. I dont care about huge -*BAD WORD*- battles consantly, just like dsb or some other zone with a flagging base structure, your gonna have times when there is no one around and times when you can't seem to get away, ever... Just like are pub now, which by the way, is just as big, it's just it has more room to fly around then my map does. A long trek back and forth with the ball...? I mean come the -*BAD WORD*- on Madhaha, its a longer trek back and forth in the bases we have now, for god sakes.... Didn't I already say they weren't Madhaha? Plus those evil faces are from the evil dead movies not diablo, dumb!@#$%^&*. I didn't feel like taking time to make the best looking tiles in the world, I just wanted to see if this type of map would work in 17th. Thats why I ask for just one friday... First off, my map really isn't that big, most zones use the whole map, but I only used whats inside the main part of the map. Plus it only looks big becuase theres lots of twists and turns. Second, the bullets got messed up some how, there not suppose to be that small. Also, as for narrow spaces and spiders, I wanted it that way so that the spider would be a more useful ship. Plus I have every ship equipped with x-radar so that should cut down on the cheesy surprise attacks, it's just most ships lose energy extremely fast if used, so you can only get a glance at whats coming your way. You say you want a small population, but whos to say you speak for the entire community? Also how would you know you wouldn't like more people? You've never played 17th with a -*BAD WORD*- load of people, plus the map would only hold so much before another map will pop up (ex. public 1, public 2... etc...). For the levi it's bombs are fast becuase it has a long delay in between firing something else. I made all the dynamics of my map fit perfectly for most ships. I put extra's on ships becuase of certain spaces the ships get into sometimes without protection. For example the lancaster, if you get up real close to it all it has is those slow shooting bullets of it's, but if you have a mini burst, that could even things up a bit, depends on the user of the ship. I really don't care about the noobies of this zone. If your a true die hard 17ther then you'll come back no matter what map is used. I made this map to attract new people and make the "veterans" want to play again. I didn't make it to keep people who only play it becuase it fits there certain needs for a zone. The zone needs a boost and my map "may not become the new public map" will give a lil' unf unf too the whole designing spectrum, instead the classic middle area and either a north and south or east and west bases. No map really is like my map, even if you say its sorta like this and sorta like that, but it isn't. My map has it's own uniqueness to it. Plus it fits 17th, makes it feel sorta like a dense jungle terrian that you have to weave your way around. All in all, don't diss a map you really haven't seen in effect yet. That's like saying "-*BAD WORD*- you guy for all your hard work, becuase I like don't like your stuff.... or something in that nature :)". Well that's all I gotta say aboot that... Peace, Stylez
