Your right, I never said we didnt have an objective, a zone wouldn't be a unique zone without a theme and objective to it... Lol why give the lamest pub map and the oldest zone? A fine example, DSB, EG, MG... all those zones pubs are awsome, and very attractive... TW's is just old and the staff there dont see a reason to change it since so many people play there... Skill changes a lot more in any zone once you move to leagues... 17th doesn't have a pub league, even if it did, SMG couldn't never beat Epion, just becuase of the skill level of people on Epion, I don't care that you've played pub more or not, once you've played SS long enough everything kind of feels easy to you and you learn how to adapt quickly... Again, stop with the lame comparisons... Trench Wars either way has a huge public, actually has up to 5 huge publics, they have nothing to worry about... Chaos is ole skool and will always be that way... LOL 17th was made on those words man... You've never played a rumble eh? Becuase it is a little zone, just like in real life, some people like to start small then move up later... Plus like I said 17th has a easy objective, and (sorry to say, but the truth hurts) easy people to play against. Maybe, a lot of people like killing quick and moving on rather then dueling one person for 5 minutes... But thats how 17th is, we should work on what we have and expand on it... Like I said, it depends on certain things, on what a person wants, a big zone/small zone, the theme of the zone, how laggy it is, what type of people play it.... theres lots of things people look for... To me each zone gives a different skill... TW's gives aim, 17th teaming, DSB dodging, EG's quickness, MG teamwork.... each zone has a lil of all of them but in all teach you one more then the other... My statement proves that I care about my zone and dont like seeing where it's going, I don't see where intellegence fits in here, but whatever... Well seeing as that I write enough for a 1000 page noval and read these forums would make it kind of like reading a book... I'm in college, all I do is read books, re!@#$%^&*... StockholmSyndrome your an idiot, I was refering simply to how many people played in pub, and I mean play, not spec... and 20 may be to generious actually... 17th is a noob zone, the map is simple, the gameplay is simple, the players are simple... no one is attracted to that type of enviroment but people who first play the game... Once people get use to 17th they get bored of it and move on to a bigger zone for more of a challenge... Its like being at the fair and you see one of those big mazes, one side for kids and the other (the complex side) for adults... 17th would be the kid side... I'm not dissing 17th as in I hate it, but I'm trying to let you know what "I" thin the problem is... but like in a goverened society, the little people don't have much of a say in anything... Joker

Dude this is my opinion, when I first played public had 40+ people easily, yes people went to events and such, they were fun, but a lot of people stayed in pub. The drop in people started when the new staff was hired and so many people started to get banned for gay !@#$%^&* reasons, then staff changed !@#$%^&* and the zone died for awhile... We have 20 people tops who play 17th pub now, thats pretty much dead to me... everyone in every other zone hates 17th becuase of different reasons, but all seem to agree that they'll never set foot in pub... I agree, the old settings were best... IT all started with the one hit weasel, people didnt like it, so mike got new staff memebers to change it, but they didnt stop there, they felt that the whole zone needed changing. Well those changes drove away all your veterains of the zone, and brung in about 20 noobs who play it everyday compaired to the old days when we had 40 people easily in pub. Staff say they listen to everyone, but I think they only listen becuase its their jobs, not what they wanna do. 3 people cant decide the fate of this zone alone.... well anyways just had to say it... Well what happens when you have no more ports or burst? I want the spider to have a fighting chance without having to use burst all the time... Na it doesn't. levi may see cloakers, but at what price..., it can tell that there is someone coming, doesnt mean it can fight them, if you tirn on x radar on a levi your going to lose quite a bit of nrg, so its really just to see if there are any cloakers in the base then turn it off, i may take it away, but just wanna see how it plays out first.... Cool idea's dude... The problem with the gaining prizes things are that it isn't 17th... people wont like it, they'll just say crap like " well if i wanted it like this I'd just goto Chaos zone blah blah" Two, 3 freqs wouldnt work becuase there are two goals, what would the third team do? There all good idea's, but not sticking to the theme of 17th.... You do have a good idea for your own zone though, you might wanna try it, I'd help you make a map if you want... Pece, Joker

Ah dude I was playin about the "I hate critics" thing. I take everyones advice and use it to my advantage... Thus the map and settings have been tweaked... A bit larger, less flags (but still in the same places), rocks put around the map, bases have more space in them, center has more space... Ships tweaked... WB) same ole wb Jav) has a new single bounce bomb now, making the bomb actually usful, some what.... Spider) has a backwards shot "to ward off people when trapped", and a lil more energy... Levi) fast lil bullets, strong bombs, but take a bit of nrg to use and when shot make you have a delay on fire, can also use x radar and anti but take nrg fast... Terr> Same terr Weasel> lil bugger Lancaster> gave it a rocket shark> was thinkin of givin it 8 blue emp mines and yellow bullets.. but its the same from before.. Tell me what you all think... Joker

Changed map, a bit bigger and less flags, with rocks in the middle and more space in bases... the spider has the backwards shot so if it gets into a tunnel fight and has no more bursts it can ward off enemys from directions... I love my levi I dont like the weasel either, but a lot of people do, so we'll keep it for now... Joker
