  1. I think Resol brought it up earlier too - to add more influence to his argument.
  2. Oh yeah. !@#$%^&* I got pwnt. lol - I think that net-bans ban by more things too? They require a mid etc...
  3. The only logical reasoning I can see behind it is so the zones have a copy of the ban - just in case there is a re-offence made. From what I have heard - expired net bans are cleared up by the SSC - and the only zone I have heard of copying net bans to local bans is Trench Wars. Also - I think they just reactivate the ban - I don't think there is a command which does it.
  4. I'm not saying the base *is stolen - but I really doubt anything is going to come of this. Resol isn't the most popular player among most zones - mainly due to his advertising and, due to people making accusations of him stealing property from other zones - never-the-less, I don't see this topic going anywhere. Hyperspace = Populated zone, Armanda !@#$%^&*ail = Unpopulated zone - It's unlikely that the unpopulated zone is going to win this dispute especially when the owner already has a bad repuatation among so many of the players who would usually help him in this case. Also - complaining on a public forum probably wasn't the best approach to this situation. @ Resol: Why care? - Both bases look like they were made in under half an hour - just put something new together yourself - and then if anybody steals it at least you don't have to say "The map was orginally created by Lego lash and maybe even some work by knight hawk. The map was made for Armada !@#$%^&*ail only, not for other people, and it was Stray that stole the map." - You can say "The base was made by me - I have proof" - and then at least you have a case to defend. Right now - we can't tell the difference between two players - Lego Lash and Legas..
  5. I don't think this will catch on. This has been tried numerous times before - and each time I’ve seen it fail. I don't see why people are more likely to install an IRC client which will have less users, than install a chat client or the actual game client which is generally more popular for talking to other players they actually are already acquainted with. Even if IRC did have over 200 Subspace users online - I generally find that most people like to talk to the people of the zone they reside in - not a few people they know and 150 other !@#$%^&*holes who spam the chat. Hauling a Subspace client - running it on 640x480? Graphics Acceleration?? - This *is Subspace we're talking about isn't it?? Isn't it 2008 now? Jeez.. If people aren't online - I’m sure it's not due to hardware deficiencies on their other machines - or that they have to "haul" a download which, lets face it, is a few MB - and even takes a minute to download on what's considered a very slow connection now-a-days. It's probably because they're at work - or college - or school and unrecognised .exe's have been blocked - or ports have been blocked - or they simply don't want to be fired, or are too busy to play games. Just my two cents.
  6. 60Ft of Bamboo wouldn't be heavy... Sure.. Arnie.. If you say so..
  7. Both local and net bans are set by the biller - not the server. Or it again could be because Rudy is meticulous, as he said. Or it could be in case the net bans get cleaned up - as they often do. Going by the fact that there are over 16K local bans in TW - they probably don't clean their bans up.
  8. Pssh - Your theory BLOWS... My Dilithium Crystals theory however.... Now that's something to admire.
  9. Hrmm..... Who cares?
  10. Have fun balloon popping with a REAL LASER!
  11. Wow - Good way to get something minuscule, and blow it right out of proportion. He has level four local banG in Dragonball Z - which means he can ban locally within the zone - and if he bans for any reason which I consider to be taboo (Which is any reason other than players hacking or racism) - he loses his banG. That's our policy. I don't see what the huge fuss about rootbear75 is anyway - he's just somebody you guys like to take the piss out of - and Apache you've just used that as a way to discredit rootbear75 - he's not abused his power once since he has been staff in the zone - I personally think that if he were a little wittier about how he retorts to you people - you'd probably like him - but that isn't my problem. As long as he does his job in my zone - it's irrelevant. Also - It wasn't an SSC Admin decision, it's zone policy. Apache, when you were staff at the zone, you had banG too - I welcome any counter arguments to why rootbear75 shouldn't have banG, and it's definately not the reason Subspace is dying. Kid - if you don't know the reasons why rootbear shouldn't have bang - then I pity you - as long as it stays at level 4 - then we're all good. ----------- -- X'terr: Note* "I welcome any counter arguments to why rootbear75 shouldn't have banG" - Maybe I should have set this into bold text or something - just so your simple train of thought could comprehend it. Enlighten me, oh wise one, to why rootbear75 shouldn't have banG - I bet I can predict a couple of your answers: 1. Because it's cool to flame rootbear - so it would suck if he had more authority than you - even if he has the authority somewhere that you never play. 2. Because rootbear doesn't come up with the sharpest replies to your not so sharp pathetic excuses for flames. rootbear75 has never made a ban which was not authorised - and he generally puts time into the zone. I think a better reason to why this game is dying is players like you - and your hostility towards anybody who isn't .. "carved by god" Anyways - "kid" - what exactly would you do if he did get a higher level of banG - other than cry about it. Back to topic: You also have to account for smaller zones also gaining more population (SSCE Hyperspace) - I know this doesn't exactly outweigh the amount which has been "lost" - but I'm sure it does have a small effect on population of other zones.
  12. Well here my PROFESSIONAL answer.. Well you see I think KNOW that the obvious reason here is the Dilithium Crystals.. Basicly root - When placed in a high frequency electromagnetic field, magnetic eddies are induced in its structure which keep charged particles away from the crystal lattice. This prevents it from reacting with antimatter when so energized, because the antimatter atoms never actually touch it. This causes the blue to become green - duh..
  13. You were a good host - I did have a small problem but it wasn't your fault and the uptime and features were always good. It is a shame you've stopped hosting.

  17. It sucked so much I left the cinema room I was in and watched Alpha Dog - Which was just as bad. - Don't even stream this pathetic excuse for a movie.
  18. ... No.. It's dying.
  19. Every time I go in there - I've just got a few AIs to fight, when is your peak time?
  20. We only ban for hacking, racism and impersonation of staff/bot. Everything else is a forced spec and silence. DBZ only has 4 active bans, everything else is done through the bot. Then again - DBZ doesn't have an amazing population.
  21. Coax can support HDTV but I think that there is more reflections in Coax cables. If you've got cable and HD channels - they're broadcast through Coax cables - but I think you will need very shielded Coax cables...
