  1. US didn't declared war on Iraq, true...they did declare war on terror and by a very weird twist of fate, Saddam just happened to transform from a bloodthirsty dictator to a ruthless terrorist. The thing is, US got him out of power now Us should just get the -*BAD WORD*- out since it's quite obvious they can't handle the situation. Concerning the abuse: Considering that the US did took action unilaterally, it's only natural to assume that US military personnel should be adequatly disciplined by their superior. Or are the US army composed of a bunch of lil' Saddams? Of course, americans aren't criminals...but you should be aware that the average american as seen on tv, news, etc around the world is an american SOLDIER. Those images are just increasing the uneasiness. And they are quite unsettling, now i hope you'll admit as much. Furthermore, it seems that Def. Sec. Rumsfeld have known for 3 months about those...ahem...measures and not informed the appropriate authority. Of all the occupational force, only US face such adversity...why? Face it, US+Iraq= -*BAD WORD*-ed. U
  2. omg tascar, don't be so serious and read some of my posts. I was just having a little laugh at your comment..you sounded..well...a bit sitting on your high horses. something which myself iM very good at I agree with you btw. oh, anyway...i'm being owned by Dav
  3. I did take a look at the whole picture and frankly, it sucks.
  4. I agree... Ail, Dav, etc...how can you face those horrible death with a poker face? how about those killed, burned alive, dragged through the street of fallujah, etc... You'll probably answered that those were barbarous act, whereas americans soldier are doing their jobs...no? sad... very sad. read my sig, click on the link. think a bit.
  5. omg, Dav...you've been registered for 4 months and your post count is 1633!!! That's an average of 13 posts a day!!
  6. Says someone with over a hundred posts in less than 2 months on a 2D game forum I don't mind youth getting interested by news, politics,economy...even if one is mistaken, at least there's something going on in their (our) heads. Life isn't just college and til they are older, they (we) can at least voice some opinions. please proceed at being older and doing something worthwhile about this. have a nice day!
  7. If someone came to your house saying:" hey, your house is all messy, let me help you tidy it up a little", then he begins ripping the wall open, burning unwanted papers, making you arrange your bed this and not that way...certainly not your way. Then, after that frustrating day, he announces that he'll be staying the night...unwanted guest you say but the stranger isn't finished yet and won't be finished anytime soon. You ask him to leave he answers with weapons. What you do? The stranger "moral highground" doesn't mean -*BAD WORD*- to you, he bothers you with his idea of freedom, democracy, etc. Who cares! You just want him gone, still he persists. what will be your actions to have him go? Call him "father" and yay toward a new day? or just say "-*BAD WORD*- you, get out of MY house". this fable was brought be a drunk bacchus. Hope you enjoyed it, sit back enjoy the ride. Bu bye C'mon, americans are just pissed off because they're losing it.
  8. oh yea, me too... *corrupted* catholic girls
  9. europeans have a special toilet seat called a "bidet" whose purpose is exactly to wash its user's -*BAD WORD*- very effectively by sending a jet of cold water directly where it itches. I've never seen such device in US, saw some here, but not in Canada. Quebec's women are perfect: they have the europeans "open-mindedness" toward sex, they shave their armpit like american women do and they are hot !
  10. the topic just called for judgement let's all go to nude bar, have some drinks and talk about women. Any women. I'd get laid with any nationality if shes' sexy
  11. I don't belive in it. Marry under god...cherish and all...yea, sure...i don't need no one to tell me that. And marrying for all life when your life expectancy is 35-40y...yea, sure... marrying for all your life when you'll live to be over 70...-*BAD WORD*- no. I'll place my personal happiness above the idea of "marriage". it sucks. Everybody might as well do whatever they want to be happy, it's just not my tea cup. And i'd rather not have marriage elevated to "important value". Marry if you want, where you want, anyhow you want...but it marriage shouldn't be used to judge other ways of life. It's not a pre-requisite of pedagogy or stability it's merely how 2 people chose to live their union.
  12. marriage suck. people were afraid to divorce, it wasn't permitted. It's just some cute way to control the smallest possible structure of social life. Women were poorly treated, marriage were organised and political (yes, even between peasantry)...in other words, it was an economical measure under he auspices of god. simply put, marriage is obsolete as a social block. Try it out of love i don't care, but try love first...marriage is useless to lovers. and ail, it's not D&D...it's Dante. Read something else then D&D (AD&D, Vampire, or anything gaming) regarding mythology. btw, my int is 21 so...keep off buddy or i'll smite ye with my eldritch fireball!
  13. not that it's in any way scientific or that i can present sources, but in my experience... I live in quebec, only french speaking province in north america. Quebec is surrounded by US and Canada, both shares mutual cultures (language, way of life, etc). I've travelled to Canada, US and European countries as well and i must say that the least attractive women i saw were either Canadian and american. both have a very strong tendency to be "chubby" if not obese (that's a medical condition, being unkept as a result of eating habits is something else). I don't mean to be rude here, but personally, the ratio of attractive women is quite superior here (quebec) and in western europe than anywhere i've been in the US (Chicago, New-York, Milwaukee, North Carolina) and Canada.
  14. he, no offense meant MC ooh' date=' that's why so many marriage fails miserably! that explains all! seriously, there's so many divorces i doubt very much that marriage is synonymous of stability. Anyway, hwere in the 9 -*BAD WORD*-s can you decipher stability from marriage? You're refering to the ideal couple there...and believe me, the ideal couple is quite rare and isn't making the bunk of relationship. but, come to think of it we are agreeing with each other: Marriage = stable environment (untrue) stable = better environment (true) better environment = better for kids (true) [b']derivative understatement[/b] Gay can't marry, hence less stable/better environement, then bad for kids Let'S have them marry freely, would be better for the kids...and you have to agree. So in the end, you ARE pro gay-marriage. Aren't you? ps.: i meant that dolphins, dogs, chimps, etc...were having homosexual intercourse for the sheer pleasure of it. Not that they were having offsprings
  15. plz read all the thread before posting. All those issues were adressed. Simply enough, allowing gay marriages will not stop humanity from getting laid and having babies... ~man, i can't begin to believe that some folks still think it would be an extinction event if gay were to be able to marry...~ simply put: YOU CAN'T HAVE A BABY SIMPLY BY BEING MARRIED! Dolphins are doing it Chimps are doing it Dog are doing it Men are doing it Women are doing it Everyone is doing it you're not alone. ~sry, i feel cranky today~
  16. there's no SCIENCE of MARRIAGE!
  17. you know, you can't love or appreciate everything in this world...but try as i might it seems my "discrimination drive" is almost off... I mean, the human mind works by discriminating what our senses perceives (black/white)...better word yet we differenciate. Wether the table will be a round one or a square one we'll still call it a table. What's the difference with humans? Wether they are white, red, yellow, black, green, gay, hetero, bozo, legless, faithless, etc. They are still, in the end humans. We chose a society built on some basics principles: equity, fairness, democracy, etc. Although those are still to be seen at large, we should always try to uphold them to the best of our abilities. ~Shake hands~
  18. so, you agree with pro-gay marriage? And it's not about a new race...it's about equality among fellow humans. It's about laying down differences, it's about openess of minds and freedom from prejudice! ALLELUJAH!!! may the easter bunny die in car crash!
  19. sorry about the bad english...i'm too lazy to correct myself.
  20. ok, i'll try my luck at logic...(i know it's nonsense don't bother pointing it to me ) Firstly, my opinion is that gay marriage isn't a profound change in society. Gays always existed, they are part of our society...single or committed. Marriage is just a step toward integration. I mean, our civil society has been thought, built and written by and for hetero. The only real change is a legal one. Adoption rights? -*BAD WORD*-, why not? as you said, i don't think that a "gay" family would matter very much in the long run. Tax benefits? Does someone actually care about that? so forth. The only "against" argument, is the religious one. I can understand why some people will resist this marriage issue if they believe God wanted otherwise...but to that i'll also answer that Jesus was preaching unconditional love (among many thing). If 2 people love each other, i believe it's wrong to judge them because of sexual behavior. It's not sex that matters here, it's feelings. ok, that was naive...some will marry to benefit from the system...like so many others from any culture around the world. What about other sexual orientation? good question that one. I'd be tempted to say that it's their turn...Just like women right to vote, i'm pretty sure someone pointed out the same problem at the time :"women to vote? hey, why not give dogs a right to vote also, and children while your at it!". Nothing is perfect. We can't have anything at once. but here's my incomplete thoughts about polygamy, pedophilia, etc. I've travelled to country where polygamy is allowed. Here's how it works: When a man and woman want to marry they choose (under civil scrutiny), or check a box if you want, to either form a monogamous or polygamous union. In some instances, a polygamous union is more practical. A rich and bif family, lots of kids, big landhold, etc. Having more than one wife is a way to "share" riches among so many families. The first wife usually rules the house. The drawback is either a very strict marriage where women are litteraly herded or quite a loose one (rarer though if i got it right at the time). Poorer family will usually choose monogamous union, it's easier, cheaper and less mobile pieces means stronger integrity. But, women might just as well be sequestered...all depends on where you are. Afghani women obeys very strict rules, but that'S not true everywhere. In west africa (Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal, etc) , women are usually treated with respect even if men clearly hold the big end of the stick. Oh and while i'm at it (and off topic), muslims are for a very large part, quite cool people. Very open, curious people. But i'm a man, so it's a bit biased. They showed me what a man should see... I don't mind polygamy, so long as it's respectful of women...I mean, so long as they can marry more than one man also. Treated equally, each sex could either have more than one spouse and everyone could bail out whenever they wish. It wouldn't work in america...we were almost all raised in a "religiously" tainted context. I for one would have a hard time being happy if i knew my wife was sleeping with other men then me. We were thought to see our partners like "property". Bestiality wouldn't work either for obvious reason..."i'm sorry, i have to walk my wife, maybe later". An animal can't participate in society. Can't work, can't ahve a social life, can't consume anything. It has no self-conscience...it is not sentient. Pedophilia...i don'T ahve any argument but those of the heart. I don't if a psycho wants to marry his dog or fish...i'll have a laugh and go away. But kids? the mere thought of it is unsettling. And i guess i could go with the argument as bestiality: Even if they are sentient, they aren't ready to understand the full extend such an union and as such it shouldn't be allowed. I know there'S culture in which it's acceptable, but those are not ours...i mean north american. Regarding underwear...that's a tricky one. Let me think about it... Ah! don't wear any! owned!
  21. or look at it from the winning side : -A boy is raised by gay parents and...o lord...he turns out gay So?.... As far as i'm concerned it only means more women for me! -A boy is raised by a lesbian couple and...o lord...turns out gay Read above -A girl is raised by gay parents and...o goodness...she turns out ...GAY! Yay! more girls for me! -A girl is raised by lesbian parents and turn out to...allelujah...a girl! Yay, more girls for me! GG homophobes! You're just sore losers with a wicked woody and no sex life!!! aha
  22. modern and occidental psy. or sexology will understand it as a perversion (me too btw) but just for the sake of argument...there are some cultures where it's considered part of a child "rite of passage" so to speak.
  23. those are rather "useless facts" number 1 and 2 if you ask me. What's the link between legal age, vocabulary and psychological issues with homosexuality? off course there might be psychological factors. So what? psychology isn't only studying sicko's you know...Me, him, her and you are all a product of some psychological factors. Even hetero rules out their sex life with the help of some psychology...if we weren't we'd be animals. Gay marriage is a non-issue! unless you're some Jesus freak/religious fanatics. lmao open kazaa>search for lesbian sex>get a move on.
  24. rofl you really have a way with bad analogy So by your reckoning, gay should be allowed in both? Whoaaa, That'S novel! When i need to take a leak and men's are full, i go to women's. Try as i want i can't see a difference between a manly toilet seat and a womanly one <_< -*BAD WORD*-, must mean i'm gay! who wants to marry me? or i'm a liberal raised by gay, no wait...liberals are gay... aaaaah -*BAD WORD*-, i'm confused again.
  25. sry, i wasn't refering to you being ignorant but I was stealing a quote to underline the fact that i was in fact.. Agreed! It's not hurting anyone more than somehting else. And as i already stated, if you're not the one being banged (lovingly at that) why would you care? hehe, butt the -*BAD WORD*- out oh, if i might say so...there's a LOT of things worth worrying upon. I find it odd that some people react more strongly to gay marriage than say...400 american soldiers killed in a foreign country trying to "create" (that's the funniest thing ever!) a democracy. Or, 800 000 killed in Rwanda, or our planet going boom, etc.
