  1. haha, that's the best one i heard today! Radical extremist?! -*BAD WORD*- that, i'm not the one that bombed hiroshima, nor the one that's screwing up the world...i do not use "GOD" in all my sentences and i'm not praying to gawd either each time -*BAD WORD*- hit the fan. I DO NOT support WAR AND A 400 billion army FFS!!! From my point of view, a lot of americans are religious integrists you know....does that make me a radical extremist? I like the color blue, good books and movies, sex anytime i can have some, natural girls and mature woman. I like freedom and cultural differences. I love to spend days with muslims and taoists... yep, if you strip me of all this...i'll most certainly become a terrorist. *** poor you, you need new friends he?
  2. i didn't read this one, USA domestic politics can't be discussed with right wing, even moderate ones, americans. Anyway, i'm not aware off all the campaign details.
  3. Even you have to agree that this is not logic...it's almost a paid advertisement. Any discourse, of any kind, can be made into something logical, hence all the confusion. a simple sillogism(spl) will show that fact. But if you want to produce something else than simple opinions (which are quite savory and/or satisfactory sometimes), you have to dig out independant sources. That's why the present USA admin. is the object of so much criticism about the oil industry...they are ALL closely related to it and they ARE still denying they have no interests in it. They give no proof but "intern" reports and obscure sources. This site might be fun and very patriotic, it might even be right to some extend. But from an "outsider" point of view it's utter -*BAD WORD*-. Too many allegations, too many "conflicts of interests", no transparency, no sources apart from the authoritative arguments and a very strong streak for patriotism which amount to being biased. From an "informative" point of view, it's worthless. I'll patiently wait for Live or Nin posts. They aren't lazy as i am, their sources are usually sound (i usually check them out)...now, those are useful (thks to them btw).
  4. my thoughts exactly. it also said: exit objectivity. this is bs. oh, and that also...since shultz is a member of the Hoover ins!@#$%^&*ute..pay attention to the funding sources and members list. Hoover ins!@#$%^&*ute Not just biased; sold, bought and paid for by...
  5. That's precisely the at!@#$%^&*ude i was refering to. "We won't be proven wrong. We'll fight, fight, fight" "maybe you're afraid, we're not" "You turn your back on us" "we're alone in our holy war but we have a mission, a goal, an objective" "we rocks" "The few, the proud, the marines"
  6. marxists? where? basically we're not trying to tell you how to run your country, we're telling you to stop running other's in a silly attempt to run yours. you can do pretty much everything you want in your country, so long as you respect your neighbors...just stop acting like a patronizing -*BAD WORD*- and we can all be friends again. and i'm not a liberal, i prefer "libertarian"
  7. Some of my friends accused me of being centrist, but i found out recently that i was profoundly bothered by everything traditionnal: family values, religion, traditionnal values and all that crap...so i drifted to...mmmh... i guess it could be anarchy but then again i'm too lazy to be an anarch
  8. i win!
  9. unsurprisingly enough
  10. I don't know about palestine but i was under the impressions that USA and Israel were both full of re-*BAD WORD*-s and psychotically ignorant states...oh and they can play with nukes <_<
  11. I like using profanities, most of us do. second comment: You need to ask yourself why some palestinians became dangerous for the security of israelis. Then maybe you'll understand that folks don't bomb themselves up for the sheer pleasure of it. clearer now? if this is still too complicated here's a hint: repression.
  12. That's precisely what i was saying. FFS, What part do you NOT understand? the question you need to ask is wtf there's dangerous person for those inside the city walls in the first place? Why are USA so hated? why israel is being suicide bombed? Maybe, just maybe those people bombing themselves up are trying to make a point??
  13. down with the wall!! Just give the palestinians a state ffs. End this war... I'm quite sure most irsaelite would agree to some sort of peace anyway...same for palestinians. Sharon is a pig. -*BAD WORD*-, UN still vote 150 to 6 for it and some are still arguing it's not "upholding their charts"...ahaha. The real problem is that the most conservative branch of israelite power wants to expand israel on palestinians land because it's a divine right, it's about land and power. They want the palestinians to bow down. It's downright supression, hence the fighting. Do you think terrorism appears out of nothingness??? for the sheer fun of it? -*BAD WORD*- that, it's happening because a lot of people are repressed -*BAD WORD*- it...what the -*BAD WORD*- isn't clear about that?!
  14. he represents the average american's traditionnal values?
  15. Are you getting laid only to have babies? wake up man, admit you want her/him. period. Well, works the same for everyone you know... ...or your sex life must be -*BAD WORD*-ishly boring...or you haven't experienced any yet. btw, homosexuality is part of nature from dog to man, in history and is still practiced today why are fussing over it? *** For the poll's sake: Kerry will win.
  16. Typical creationist argument. Believer's always get mixed up with nature's work and moral. "God is dead" refer to the fact that IT failed in providing a "transcendental" framework for morality. What was called "good and evil" by a God died with the rise of individualism. Once you recognized that fact, there's no need for salvation, no need to be "saved", no need convert or to proselitised (spl), no need for a messiah. No need for "A nation under God", then you're free to act and choose as you will according to civil laws as discussed by individuals. You seem to believe that God weaved "moral highgrounds" into Nature? Do you believe that since you follow god's rules you'll be saved from your miserable natural life and that your immortal soul will go to heaven? Because this leads to war, intolerance and coercitive behavior... isn't it how USA is justifying it's role of "peace bringer"?
  17. yea i know, sorry about that. It's a bush or Kerry thread...i'll refrain from posting.
  18. [drunk]please humor me...but what's the difference between an extremist muslim and you? I mean, you seem to think that christianity is better suited to the welfare of the human race than another one... if you haven't notice yet GOD IS DEAD![/drunk]
  19. As they say.. If the hat fits... And i don't have to meet Bush to know he's moronity incarnate. Same goes for Karl Rover, don't have to meet him to know he's competent. same goes for me you know: Do you have to meet me to gather that i'm very anti-bush, very against everything falling under "USA foreign policies", that i'm a libertarian that ain't giving -*BAD WORD*- about someone sexual orientation, color, culture? I guess not...so we could still agrre on 1 fact: your comment is as inane as mine. Ail, i wasn't refering specifically to you btw. But then again, if you feel like explaining why you feel that and that, that's fine by me. Though i'd like to highlight the "WE CATHOLICS"...Insh'allah buddy.
  20. wow. silly americans. i know it's a "domestic" topic but can't you just lay down the "religiously founded argument" and try something more...err...humane? almost every time someone speaks out an idea about good/bad or right/wrong you automatically refer to God and what the religion tells you. Can't you show off a bit more moral autonomy and thus, a more tolerant view of the world and it's various cultures? Reading you all (apart from live i must say) you're all mixed up with morals/religion/law, word/concept/idea, art/science, you look like you're very ill equipped to face this very complicated world. What's "bad" about sex? about love? about unions? apart from the word of god? What's good, what's bad? You sound like entrenched in a "messianic" world where your prez plays the part of some sort of holy act, like Bush was a hero upholding traditionnal values... man, from my point of view and a whole lot of people around the world, that makes you very weird indeed. I'm re!@#$%^&*ured by Live wits an objectivity, even though i know we wouldn't agree on a lot of subjects...i think he's the most adapted to choose wisely and to undertsand your domestic policies. If your vote is gonna be based on some of your ideas about what's good or not for your country, this is gonna be messy...please, pay attention to posts like Live's. wow again, some of you are freaking me out...
  21. i was going to post, but i'm feeling depressed...just read Live article again.
