Americans are so hot, i wish i'd been born one We're sane here also...but you'd be bore to death within a month <_<
-
ok, so that

So the world is USA ghettos? nice analogy. It says much about your frame of mind and it also strenghten my position about why the "ghetto" is, and will endure, having an "anti-american" streak. You know that i'm a neighborg (spl, never remember this one..) to NY state, the province where i live is supplementing a lot of cheap electricity to USA. We happens to sleep on the on/off switch. What if we clicked it off? There's a lot of gaz and oil in Canada's plain provinces, a lot of those are sold cheaply to the USA. What if it stops Ail? We also happen to possess 6% of the world water... What will be the USA politics concerning all those? I know it won't happen, but what if the world decides to "embargo" you instead?
-
no. Do you think that everything i read in the medias (or watch, but i usually prefer written media) could be influenced by a terroristic "disinformation machine"? I saw more disinformation in USA than i saw in Mali, Burkina Faso, Bruxelle, etc. Even in some backwater countries i've seen there was somekind of independance, a result of the lack of "money" involved in the news making process. In USA, and most occidental/industrial countries, a media source needs to show/tell something that sells. Usually, when CNN as story, about anything...even if its trivia, other news source are practically "forced" by the market to buy CNN stuff. Same thing happened with Bush-Gore election, CNN sid something, other network followed, then it it said something else, etc. In Iraq, there was so much merged reporters that trivia news, with lack of sources, poor image/sound quality, etc. were flooding the media, like this reporter merged with the ground forces who entered Baghdad. He said "Coallition troops took the city". A week later fights were more fierced then ever. Bad news, flase news. It's called entropy. Bravo. You hold the key to understanding. Your life is heaven compared to % of the world. Why is it so? You're lucky enough to be in the 20% people who owns the world...why are you rich while % other are poor and lacks even the basics luxury of medical attention, schooling, etc?
-
well, if america would care less about the world maybe the world would stop caring about america, no?
-
Ail, you're swimming up -*BAD WORD*- creek with no paddles. "terrorists think differently" "fondamentalists minds are strange and arcane" You're elaborating a rather simple psycho-pop theory to justify a very simple politic: Middle-east = a pain in the -*BAD WORD*- for USA and allies. Big fish eats small fish, but along the line small fish happens to own a bazooka. "please remember that terrorists thinks differently..." once again, utter, complete, genuine -*BAD WORD*-.
-
is it just me or you are implying that middle-east cultures are obsolete? judging from the next paragraph, you do think a culture can be "obsolete"... wow. i can !@#$%^&*ure you that if you ever think my culture is obsolete i'll fight you with everything i have, from rocks to atom bombs. so THEY dragge dyou into this fight but it's...how did you put it: a fact of life...no? Hey it's natural. You rock so much they just oughta bow down and assume they are outdated then they should thank you and if they're cute enough you'll hand a job...MAN, IT'S ALL MAKING SENSE ALLE_-*BAD WORD*-ING_LUJAH!! Oh, that's the Darwin argument! the grand evolution of all thing natural and off --*BAD WORD*-ing- course USA is the pinacle of human history! What next? islam is an evolutionnary stress that will push americans to new states of being? c'mon... The rest is utter -*BAD WORD*-, you're speaking out of your -*BAD WORD*- so much I wouldn't even be surprised if you had 2 of them.
-
ok, you just beated me into submission. you're right off course, Democracy can be imposed, war can make peace, american dream is good for everyone and gun control sucks. Recombo also is right: I'm a foreign immigrant and i'm still a kid, therefore i'm anti-american. oh, btw, i meant that USA was the only superpower atm, not that it was the first...
-
you're hopeless. You can't deny that anti-americanism is rather omnipresent nowadays, and that feeling is triggered precisely by this..err...stance of yours. Can't you see? You don't ask questions, don't try to understand basic anthropological notions, you'll hear no cultural argument, no economical arguments which isn't falling in classical USA way of thinking and you're ready to go all guns blazing the minute someone disagree. hey, wake up, USA is killing people too and it's doing a very good job..is it any different from you that someone want to enact some form of retribution on USA citizens? USA is the only superpower in the world, it's an historical first GG., when it moves, it's like an elephant in a dolls house or however the saying goes, if it acts carelessly it breaks stuff...and at present time USA is trashing around, oblivious to the damage its doing. now i can't get any clearer or simpler thant that.
-
wtf... you're so thick it hurts Dr. get that log outta that -*BAD WORD*- man, you'll feel so much better. oh, and while you're at it, re-read the post and try wondering "why?" again, ok? I'll repeat myself here...but any gov preaching peace and democracy and backing it's argument with a 451 billion US $ army ought to be pretty -*BAD WORD*-ed up if it think i'm gonna buy it. Me and a whole lotta people actually.
-
mmh, you accuse Bin Laden and Al Qaeda of defending a system of oppression that give individuals their wealth... I'm quite sure you know that Ben Laden was trained by your governement on the how's to defend such system. And from my point of view, and i know i share this with a lot of people, USA is as fundamentalistic as those groups right now; the means are different, the ways it shows is different, but at the end the consequences are basically the same. USA manichenianism (spl, i'm not sure this word actually exist in english) doesn't allow shades of gray and if this is true that USA is fighting a war with a small group of fundamentalist i must say that this "war" is screwing up the world right now. A world where, might i remind you, the middle men and women usually don't care and just want peace. From my point of view, a conservative or right winged stance is just like a suicide pact for the world: ressources will fall short because of overproduction and american-wise consumtion, nature will freaked out, war will erupt, people will die and for a long time to come a whole lot of people will be pointing toward the agressor which sadly is USA.

ok. Sorry to say that, i don't mean offense but: YOU'RE SPEAKING OUT OF YOUR -*BAD WORD*-! I've travelled there. Simply put i stayed with 300 radical muslims/rebels for over a month. Alone with them, in the Sahel, north of Burkina Faso. I've met folks from Saudi, Lybia, Mali, Ivory Coast, name it. All muslims, some pretty heavily angered at what they see and feel coming from the americaS, which the USA represent. please note: USA represent. Generally speaking, those i've met, and some of them did train to become rebels...not terrorists, but rebels nonetheless (particularly in the Tuareg upraising and various coup) and they were very open-minded and willing to discuss things. BUT, Usually, north americans are treating them like sh... some under-species to be processed and nurtured into civilsation...USA-wise civilisation, which is destroying their way of life and cultural iden!@#$%^&*y. And that should ring a bell in every american heads, don't it sound somewhat familiar...protecting your way of life? USA is generally "hated" because it doesn't speak, it shows no tolerance to difference, it rams its economic powers down the throat of any country disagreing with it. Basically speaking, USA show no concern for smaller folks. It's aloofness incarnate for other culture and geo-political contexts...and very frustratingly so...IT'S ALWAYS THINKING IT'S -*BAD WORD*-ING RIGHT TO DO WHAT IT THINKS NEED DOING. **my english might suck. sry about that.** So, in other words...terrorists are using the only weapon with a bit of political levy (spl): terrorism. The bigger USA army and repression, the bigger the terrorists number. Which is very good for a military-oriented economy. ok, why are you the object of so much criticism? no offense meant: Usually people thinks americans are braggart, they show no respect for any ins!@#$%^&*ution or tradition other then their own. They are condescending, very misinformed, loaded with prejudice and always look like they've been invested with some divine mission which, quite frankly, people outside USA doesn't give 2 -*BAD WORD*- about. before whining to generalisation let me add that you'd be naive to think that I think all american are the same, they're not off course. I've met very well informed, talkative and sympathetic americans...but the actions of USA gov is what will be seen as an "american will", USA gov is representing it's people around the world and those people are pissed at what they see and feel. USA seems to think they should be grateful, they usually just want USA to get the -*BAD WORD*- out of their world and mind their frikkin business. But no...that can't be, USA needs the resosurces, USA needs conformity, so USA adopts a missionary stance: IN god WE trust! God Bless America! who cares really but some white house -*BAD WORD*-head with loads of support from right wing religious group, oiled and ready CEO and arms dealers? [/rant]
-
Are you serious? Tell me you aren't... Wow, you're having all those ideas about why USa should have an army, about the fact that people wants you dead, you see protestors everywhere, you heard about anti-americanism...and you never asked yourself why?
-
ok, let's chew at that one step at a time: AND WHY DO YOU THINK THEY WANT TO KILL AMERICANS IN THE FIRST PLACE? IT'S NOT MAGIC YOU KNOW, TERRORISTS DON'T GROW IN CABBAGES! NO ONE WANTS A LIFE THAT WILL END WITH BOOM! YOU MUST ADMIT THAT YOU HAVE TO BE VERY DESPERATE TO HAVE 5 POUNDS OF C4 SCOTCH TAPED TO YOUR CHEST TO MAKE A POINT!! WHY THEN ARE THEY DOING IT? WHY DO THEY WANT TO DIE KILLING AMERICANS AND THEIR FRIENDS AND TO MAKE US AFRAID? WHY? DO YOU HAVE THE FAINSTEST IDEA?
-
hey, ain't it a novel idea!!? wow i'm flabbergasted! Then you'll have a potential for a couple of 10th thousands more haters! good idea, then maybe we could have this revolution, no? Same thing for terrorists! just nuke the frikkin world while your at it and lock all protestors in one big arena. Now, THAT is social engeneering! EEHH *-*BAD WORD*-ing* AAWW! c'mon tiger, go get'em.
-
Then you probably should pray for the first amendement to be back online when the judge will be looking at your file.
-
moderate?? you think Rover is a moderate? what about wolfowitz? Ashcroft? man, get your facts right...most of the man cabinet is hooked either on religion or oil and they all have a reputation of being very conservative, neo-con i think...isn't how they are called? They are everything BUT moderate.

Here's another one also: Réseau voltaire It's well do-*BAD WORD*-ented and although they're good researchers and do-*BAD WORD*-entalists, it might be biased so i suggest caution when reading those articles...but it's a great read anyway

bah. I just finished reading a 10 pages article on Bush, it's ideas, relations, politics, etc. It sucks. ps: it's in french so i won't post any sources but i'll supply it if asked. It's not an independant source but it's reliable i think...it's only facts anyway. I'm gonna read another one on Kerry. Did i mention i wasn't american? oh well...
-
Maybe Chirac wasn't invited...it's not like anyone could have go there without a vip card you know. And no offense, but i wouldn't have attend this show either. It's not disrespect, quite the contrary. Well, i undertsand i would even agree with you...but respect is earned, not forced upon and the USA isn't quite "respectful" of its neighbors either. Always meddling, a bit unsupportive, often uncooperative. You have to understand something very important here: More often than not, USA is feared. USA can be very unforgiving and is quick on reprisal or threats of reprisal. Respect and fear are of a very different nature. Bush can very think whatever he wants of France and/or Europe, even Canada...i don't care, the rest of the world wouldn't care either i'm pretty sure of it. The main problem is that what USA think is good for itself, it usually think it's good for everyone else. Which is the biggest error a country can make regarding the international community. ok, thanks. Very profound. Just so you know, France cut down its spending on the military and raised taxes to maintain free social services. whereas USA is usually advocating lower taxes and bigger army. I'd choose social services and health care instead of army. on a happier note= USA = 288 millions, EU=400 millions. And my -*BAD WORD*- is bigger than yours. Again: that's precisely the type of mindset i'm speaking about. WAKE UP! USA have nothing to SAY, or chances to give -*BAD WORD*-! it's supposed to be a -*BAD WORD*-ing PART of an INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION which is working on a DEMOCRATIC basis. YOU PRESENT A RESOLUTION, YOU TRY TO CONVINCE OTHERS THAT YOUR VIEWS ARE BETTER THEN OTHERS, YOU VOTE, YOU -*BAD WORD*-ING LOSED IT!!! WE DON'T HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU! WHICH PART OF THAT SENTENCE ARE YOU NOT UNDERSTANDING??? And we don't have to follow you everytime you dig a -*BAD WORD*- hole. I'm not blinded by hatred, i'm just saying that i disagree with what USA is doing, with the obviously "missionary" mindset of your pres and with constant warring and 400 billion army, etc. That being said, i'm tired of this bullhit, it's taking to much time and energy. Ciao.

France and Villepin were questionning US report's objectivity over the very questionnable !@#$%^&*essment of Iraq's "threat" level. THAT was the first reason to go into Iraq. Not free the iraqis, not fight terrorism...it was first a pre-emptive war ...which btw, was the same reason Germany had to invade Poland. France followed in the UN wake, US WAS the one being unilateral. US was a major actor in UN or alliances "breakdown". Would you please stop denying that fact. then again, US is the only one that isn't signing international - neutral - treaties and you're not on the international court...and US threathened to used its veto concerning peace keeping mission if the council didn't accept to grant it a "special, derogatory, status. Your pres. lied about US motives...oh yea, right...the intel was bad. Hey, US had a chance to convince the security council. Powell presented the case, the council voted. You simply losed. period. -*BAD WORD*- no. Given the current state of my neighbors mental health, you could as easily excused me for hitting him with a baseball bat. At the very least, France is acting responsibly toward its own; free schooling, free social service, free hospital. Crime rate is low compared to US and France's debates are amongs a lot of political parties. It's far from being perfect but if you ask me...i'll go there instead of USA without even the shadow of a doubt...which is to your advantage. Go to whom funeral? US support in Irak is going down by the week you know.

no, i'm not saying ALL americans are the same. I'm saying lots of americans share some "ideals" that i disagree with, approve of having the biggest army in theworld...which I disapprove strongly, lots of you agree with foreign policies that, imo, sucks so bad it hurts. oh, and in case ou didn't noticed yet...anti-americanism is at an all time high...and instead of listening to some consensual comittee (UN) and trying to go by the book, USA is making constant war. And your answer is :" so what, someone ought to what someone ought to do". Well, i'm only saying it's -*BAD WORD*-. utter, mindless, -*BAD WORD*-. FYI, and i know it probably won't help..it's internet, i could produce every kind of stories...I just fired one of my employee because he refused to serve americans. Even in the face of facts, you refuse to even admit to some sort of weirdness in how your gov is doing thing...why? Your patriotism is bordering xenophobia, most of you obviously don't know a thing about middle east and islam. USA actions is screwing up the world, why? because a lot of us not american simply disagree with how you do things. Simply put... USA is above the law. It's frustrating and it encourages battle, violence and intolerance.
