Defend your castle is silly. Its all about who can leave it on the longest. Since we just get tons of points then force ourselves to die every so many rounds to upload our scores =/

Bases should be tweaked to fit the current style of flagging. Since when the bases were made, I dont think the maker intended for flagging to be like right now cause hardly anyone is buying any consumable items.

We seriously need to take a break and stop making multiply topics saying the same thing. Give it a break and wait abit. !@#$%^&*, it hasnt even been a week and 50% of the items available havent been brought yet. Something I do find needs to be changed is that G-Battery/B-Battery (Capacity slot items that lets you hold more ammo) should have a small drop in price or exp requirement? That way...maybe people will stfu about them running out of ammo so fast. Or have a mini-G/B-Battery that is much cheaper/lower exp and only allows you to get 2 more ammo slots?

I dont think the problem as of right now is ammo and the hassle people experience since they dislike stocking up on ammo or buying it when they runs out. The problem like deadra said is how screwed up flagging is. The attacking freq has almost no chance of taking over a base since the defending team will just sit there and bullet/bombline. While the attacking freq can hardly push forward cause people doesnt want to buy reps/thors/burst to push alone.

O nvm, I read your post wrong. Thought you meant 2 arena's with linked settings. People might end up just all staying in 1 arena.....but its a good idea to see which type of gameplay that the players like better. Something to consider: Gotta make arena 0 nothing or else some people will get lazy to switch arenas every time they enter zone.

Nice, i was gonna ask if they can make a shorter command for ammo. Another choice for viewing ammo bar I will suggest is that: Make it like a traffic light with only 1 bulb. Where: Green Light = Ammo Left >50% of max ammo Yellow Light = 50% > Ammo Left > 10% Red Light = Less than 10% left

As long HS is rpg style, it will always be who ever plays the longest is the best. Unless the items hardly effects anything. Something I want a staff to verify: Does buy gun ammo cause your ship to magically stop? Apparently Creamy thinks so and is sure enough about it that he thinks I need to learn how to play/stupid if I think otherwise.

I think people will hop from 1 arena to another hoping to get on winning freq to get easy $.

Only reason you should ever buy ammo in center safe is if you just died and when u ?shipstatus. You found our you were less than 500 (I prefer to have over 500 cause I dont want to have no ammo in firefights) or you warp to center from btying in base. Buying ammo from depots hardly cause you to lose bty since you can just fly a cross the safe and hit enter/macro to buy. Ammo doesnt really affect btying in center...its just people are too lazy to check every so often to see their ammo count. What ammo really affects is those basing....but the problem of how people lose a ton of bty when they warp to center to buy ammo will be solved soon. Why I say that? Once lancs get summoner (which they will), you can warp and hit ur macro key or the "?buy -c # gun ammo pack" and pm to get summoned back before you lose any bty. Linear's idea basically nulls the point of ammo. Its no different then before. Half of the people wont bother to buy ammo cause there isnt a real point unless you wish to spam without losing nrg. Only way it would work is if they skyrocket the price of ammo or slash the amount count by a ton.

I prefer that we can buy it outside supply depots and wat not but at an increase price for "transportation" cost. But then again, it wont happen lol Problem I see with greens is that ppl can tk each other for greens to refill their ammo.

Brain, can you tell us the limit of how many things we can buy in the main categories? Like how many emitters/addons/capacity/mounts we can buy initially?
