Plan: Get 1-3 people (friend/family/etc), load up 2 cars with food, equipment, guns and ammo. Drive to the closest place to get ammo (hunting shop) mainly cause I have access to guns. If theres ppl alive in shop, try to trade some food for ammo, if not then clear out zombes (if there is any) and loot as much as equipment as I can. Then drive north (since im in Canada) and try to find an abandoned house in a rural place. Prefer those single house in a big !@#$%^&* farm field, hopefully near water supply. Build a !@#$%^&*ty fence around the perimeter so it can buy time in case zombie comes. Dig a moat around house and enjoy life until winter/summer comes and watch zombies freeze/rot =) Long Weapon Weapon of Choice: .22 Rim fire Rifle Mid Range Weapon: .22 Hand Gun or Revolver of the smallest caliber (dunno if .22 revolver exist or not) Close Range: Bat - Prefer Metal or a Crowbar Why .22 rim fire? Most of the guns that fire it is usually light and the recoil is really low. May sound like a !@#$%^&* but I rather shoot something that has low recoil than a magnum that jerks my hand up and waste nrg/time bringing back into place. Besides, its like the most basic type of ammo and all shops that has ammo sells it, would love to see you try and find high caliber special bullets in walmart. Also, a box of .22 ammo contains 1000 bullets and isnt that heavy....and having 2 weapons that share same ammunition is better. Not to mention, .22 does have the stopping power to penetrate a skull and effectively stop a zombie. Though it aint as fun as watching the zombie blow up into pieces while you use some anti tank rifle against it but its effective.
