Yea money is still an issue for the newer ppl since some of us already got a few ships and even less of us has twp!@#$%^&*es/anti death already. I say rise the killing high-exp ppl money to like 150 gold cause anything above 300 is too high. 10 kills can get u alot already and u can easily do that by suiciding in center =/

Death, newbies can still get lotta money from vets. Some people who has more exp still fools around in center and they do get killed cause some of the high exp people just dont care if they die or not. And also, even if u jack up the reward of killing a high-exp person it wouldn't do that much since if center has lots of ppl playing. Vets just gang up and form a turret which fuks up the fun. When i first started, people hardly turret. Now days, when there are 4-6 ppl playing in center, ppl start turreting and newbs think they can take down a turret by suiciding the lanc w/ wb shooting bullets (which never works cause the wb dies too fast and the lanc just sc for new items when they used them all). If you jack up the reward for killing vets, ppl ill want to turret together so they can kill vets easier in a turret.

True that criz does plenty of !@#$%^&* and pushes the staff to their limits, and true that he sends in his pals afterwards to whine about it. HOWEVER, sui is not in criz's squad, hes in a rival squad, and sui (as far as i know) does not have "reasons previously for a ban." And requesting to lock the topic, how typical. Please take a look at Desert Storms forums Ban board here: http://www.zoneds.net/forum/viewforum.php?...3427be1ad4bcf81 You'll notice they lock every topic after usually avoiding giving any reason for a ban. This has become far too common in ds, im surprised their still allowed ssc billing. Man i must have missed jeri saying he wanted this topic closed. Jeri, this aint your little playground where you close and delete anything that you staff don't like. Jeri, when did u adapt to communism? Trying to close topics that goes against DS cause of re!@#$%^&*ed bans that you staff made shows how you tried to make DS look clean but failed at it. O wow, shouldnt vili be the one growing up even though hes like in the 40's? Is he too afraid of making a post in this topic concerning his unjustified ban that he msgs people in game hoping it wont leak? All i see vili done is send his lackies (like jeri) to post replies thats focusing on criz when this topic isnt even focused on criz at all.

IMO the decline of SS Population cant really be stopped. Its cause every few months, new games with new graphics comes out. Even though most people playing ss joined at first cause of their friends telling them to play, nowdays if you tell your friends about subspace. Most people will just give you a strange face cause your telling them play a 2D Space-Action Game when their computer can handle games that has graphic requirement 3 times SS. I think SS should work on keeping the remaining players instead of trying to expand alot (maybe get a few ppl to join). What tj said about adding more controls would be a good way to keep players. Maybe some controls like being about to strafe your ship like infantry can.

Thats y i havent been in DS for a few months. I entered to check which staff had a question mark in their name and I get banned in less than 1 min for talking. Posting here does something, it will inform people that this type of !@#$%^&* goes on like all these messed up bans. !@#$%^&* you wouldn't even know they will ban someone for talking if I had not spoken up. If i had posted this re!@#$%^&*ed ban on the ds forum, there will be no discussion. All there will be is it gets locked the moment it gets posted and some staff will say they will "check" it out. Then if you ever ask or get someone ask about your ban, the famous response from vili (if he even response) would be "They know what they did". If u looked at my first SS, u would have seen 5 bots in spec, then theres 3-4 sub-arenas that contains a bot each + 1-2 private arenas that has another bot. If you ever visited DS you would know that they have like 10 Bots running w/ 3+ Staff in spec + Vili's Alias that uses. That alone is p!@#$%^&* 10 ppl in the zone lol.

Its true, Untrace is Vili. Why? Because he was sick of being spammed and bugged constantly over the last few months by a small group of individuals, led by Criz. I also ordered the bans of Suicide_Run and LiD, as they have given plenty of reasons previously for a ban. As always after criz gets banned he sends squaddies in after him to stir !@#$%^&* some more. You guys will stay banned, any further problems such as the spammers you sent in shortly after, will be dealt with by me and banned accordingly. DS Staff will no longer waste time with such "players", nor with this stupid thread.. so if somebody would be so kind as to lock it.. Ok First, I would like to point out that I didn't make this topic to talk about criz's ban. I included his ban when I first started this topic was to explain why I even went into DS in the first place and people were asking who was the fellow that got banned before me. And I know well that criz may say some bad stuff since I staffed in DS when he was banned before. Second, Jeri you AIN'T even on the god dam Staff List. So don't go saying you will be dealing w/ bans and what not because you NOT post to have any power at all. Unless I am mistaken, I don't think your Dav1, Witchie NL nor any of the other names appearing under ".staff" command to the bots nor is there a staff list in the news.txt. What you are saying is that your using your connection to staff and asking them to ban the crap out of people who you think are spammers and people who start !@#$%^&* by your definition of those people. And you can see clearly that your name didn't show up on ".staff" command in my second screen shot that I took once I got banned. Third, I ain't a squad member in what ever squad criz is in. As I recall, LiD was already in the zone when i entered. Also I would love to know your definition of "stirring !@#$%^&* up" since all I said every since I enter the zone was ".staff", a sentence of not wanting to be on the staff list and saying someone banned criz. If you look carefully at my SS, you could see I didn't even say any racism or what not. Where as Untrace (vili) provoked me by calling me a re!@#$%^&*. So unless im post to suck a staff's !@#$%^&* when I enter DS, i practically didnt say anything wrong. Fourth, plenty of reasons previously for a ban? Thats practically bull!@#$%^&* rite there. I haven't even touched DS since new years and unless you bringing little things like saying DS sets arent good from 1 year back thats a pretty stupid reason for banning people without a warning. Thats practically saying im banning you today for something you did 1 yr ago. Fifth, I didnt send any people to DS to spam. They did it out of their own reasons since I all I basically said was I got banned for talking in DS in a private chat. And that aint even related to my ban at all since it happened after my ban. !@#$%^&* you should expect people to flock you your zone once you start banning people for no reasons and you should be happy people flock your zone since you get a pop boost, but that aint the point. O PS: I have been perm banned by BanG since it didnt tell me when im banned until when i try to enter the zone if any of you are wondering.

Just wondering, would the money/gold get reseted back to the ways they were when we get ssc biller in HS?

O yea, I would LOVE to hear the other side of the story concerning banning someone for talking if there is even a story. I would also LOVE to hear why a person NOT on the staff list can use staff powers. And why the zone owner (if untrace is really vili) made a separate alias....to ban people with Between ani, u meant Dealt w/ vili as in staffed for him rite? Cause i did staff under him 1-2 yrs ago.

Here i ill post who got banned in less than 30mins. Criznittle got banned for using caps. He was talking about it in DS Chat. I asked him who banned him and he said it was some dude w/ a "?" mark. So i entered the zone to find what who banned Criz. I get banned for some unknown reasons and so did LiD. That shows how badly the zone is ran if untrace is an alias of the zone owner. But either way, its pretty sad that they r banning people for silly reasons. It sounds like they are on 24/7 Power Trip by silencing those who speak out........looks like communist in subspace lol....

You Know Something Is Wrong When....You Get Banned For Talking In A Zone. Today a friend of mine got banned in a zone for using caps once. (According to what he said) So I enter the zone to see who banned him since he told me someone w/ a "?" in their name banned him. I entered arena and did a command to show who is currently on staff. A moment later some dude told me I aint on it and I said I wouldnt want to be on it. A few moments later while im talking to another player, i get banned and the person im talking to gets banned as well. Bomook, cant u just lower the alive time of the bricks by half? Thats not like removing anything, just makes it so 1 lanc + 1 person cant win by reshipping + bricking.

I agree w/ 3vil. If u dont like the zone, dont play it. Dont come and keep whining. Btw doom, u should stop responding w/ "zone imbalance" cause this topic is "How do you kill an HE levi?" not how to do fix an imbalance zone or how to kill ppl that reships. If u want those questions answered, go make a new thread and post solutions up instead of critizing other ppls replies. And your only solution i seen so far was add a no reshipping rule which can be easily bended by shipchanging.

Its probably how ppl can get the -600k jp. But instead of making it negative, it makes it positive cause i remember one day when me and a few other ppl were turreting. The jp was 80k+ and when fat cat scorereseted some dude's score cause it was negative, the jp dropped down. Fat cat said it was cause the dude caused the jp to increase w/ the negative points or something. Its probably some player that uses a hack that decreases/increases jp when ever they r killed.

Doom, face it....a zone can never be balance. There will always be someone thats gonna find an unbalance thing and exploit it. Besides it all depends on the person's view if the zones imbalance or not cause anyone can say something is imbalance and throw some points to justify it unless the whole zone has only 1 ship. Another thing, theres seriously no point of u making this thread if ur just gonna reject most of the solution ppl offer or just respond w/ "unbalance, reshipping". No one can be killed if they run into safe when they r low or reship. Even if staff has the rule of no reshipping, ppl can just bend it by shipchange from a levi to jav, play abit in it and then shipchange back. Its not exactly called reshipping and u cant put a rule saying "No shipchanging" cause thats just re!@#$%^&*ed. That way ppl can still be "invicible" An easy way to solve the thread question would be just reducing the max speed of levi so it fullfills its name as "Heavy Bomber" cause heavy bomber aint suppose to move fast or as i said earlier, make a seperate HE missile for levi.

No it wasnt after a crash. When the first game was finished. The jp for the second game suddenly jumped to 250k and it was rite after like 15 secs and jp got to that ammount. In my guess, it would be someone using hacks, not staff =/

Well if we r making bricks one time use, i think the current brick alive time is ok. Seeing as how it wont change soon, i think its better if brick alive time would be less or at least make it more fair. A double brick having the same alive time as cage/wide brick aint really fair in a flagging game. From wat i see, u get 2 bricks that stays 7-9 secs and w/ AD u get 4 which means u can basicly slow an entire atk force by at least 20 secs everytime u attach. A team of 2-3 can basicly win a flag game by slowing down the atking freq until the flag drops.

I personally dont think making bricks one time use is very useful cause then u wont be able to stop ppl w/ rockets + AD unless u rep/burst and those do run out. I think u should just reduce the brick time by a few secs so its just to do a tempory stop ppl from advancing so fast in a base game. Also if its possible, u can always make the brick time different depending on the brick. I always find that double bricks r abit too strong if u get 2 bricks that last around 8-9 secs while others get 1 cage/wide brick for same time. Maybe u should make it so the double brick go away fastest that the other 2 cause i seen its quite easy for a team of 2 ppl to win a fg (if they had flags to begin w/). I say that cause all they do is have 1 dude that just bricks and slow ppl down while the other waits for drop.

Dam man, u all make it sound like HS is a 1v1 arena zone where its only u vsing an opponent wheither its a turret or 1 ship. Ask ur friends in HS to help u out, if u dont have friends make some gesus. This is a multiplayer game where theres multiple players out there not just one dude trying to kill another. Get like a group of ppl and surround the levi and have a dude sit near a safe to rep the levi away from it if the levi ports. The only thing i dislike about center is anti doesnt work in it. You should make it that anti works in center but ppl can attach only in the center/shop safes if thats possible. Btw, staff can always make a seperate HE missile that is only for levi. Wat i mean is the normal HE is for the other 7 ships and this special HE is for levi where the special HE is nerfed abit to balance it back out? Just an idea.

Not to be an !@#$%^&*hole, but this is inherently flawed because they can avoid up to 100% of the damage simply by having a reshipper who is good at pressing keys rapidly. Its only flawed if ur doing it alone. If u have a team of let say 4 ppl contiously bombing/thoring the turret, the repper will get dmg when he attaches back. I say that cause I seriously doubt the repper can shipchange + attach in the small timeframe where the last rep loses it's affect and I have yet to see a repper that can rep 100% of anything that comes toward the turret. Besides, the repper like all of us is still human so mistakes + lag will take place and the driver aint perfect either. All u need is a group of ppl trying and one of u ill kill the turret over time.

If the turret can shipchange, y dont u? Just rocket out, throw come thors, shipchange and repeat. If u have team mates doing that w/ u, even better cause i doubt a turret can handle continous thors flying toward them. And they wont be able to shipchange cause of the thor dmg. If u dont wanna swoop to their level and dont want to shipchange, then mine the exit from center. I done it quite a few times w/ just 5 HE bombs and when they warp. Boom, wipes out the turret if u plant the mines at the rite place.
