Falcon if you want to bombline sometimes, he missiles if you plan to wallbomb on occasions. Reactor: Toka + w/e sublight you want or Comp + H2 for high recharge. You can get a sig reactor if you want. Emit: Warp + Tachyon Armor: Shock Matrix, gonna safe u from thors Addon: Usually depends on what your other items are. Shrap Multi if you got shrap bombs / power strip if you want more nrg/regen / man fins for rot.

Some players dont feel like spending alot/moderate amount of time to get back their ships that they lost from reset.

Lol if Cerium was here, he will probably say u have some conspiracy theory against the mod that you believed to have "switched" people to freqs. If you look at your own screenshots, you could see theres a 15 min interval between them. Alot of things can happen in those 15mins to change the freq size beside mods abusing powers to switch players to a different freq. Players can easily gotten into game, increased the freq vs freq size and people on freq 1 could have left afterwards cause they have given up. Just cause you dont want to hop onto defending freq, doesnt mean other people wont.

Well I think the price increase of 20 from 30-50 helped abit. With that change, there are less new players going around thoring cause the over all net gain from thoring has decreased even though its still in the positive.

Since we cant change dmg nor prox. I propose my (and others) idea of allowing people to have only 1 siege pack and the only way to increase thor amount is by buying combo mount. And also to increase thor cost to 50-100 per thor.

If I remember correctly....since Thor is just a Lvl4 Bomb, if you change prox/dmg of it. The change will have an effect on the prox/dmg of normal bombs. Changing just the price of the consumable item is a short term solution. There will always be someone who will have enough money or be willing to use the amount of money to do it.

Look at the bright side....now we dont have levis/spider gaining a ton of bty at choke points causing stalemates anymore. Bad side is, half the time you attach...you blow up from thors =/

Dont think terr's movement is a big problem. People might just have alot of items that boosts terr's movement. Terr doesnt need that much nerfing, just abit here and abit there would be enough. Dont want the same thing happening before where ship gets whacked with nerf stick too much. Shark is a ship for the elite cause if your not elite, ur not gonna be able to use it properly =p Think its good enough right now, I just dont have the money to test it out yet lol.

I know reps/thors/etc. were consumable because it was made so people cant item spam like before ammo system was introduced. The problem is, we r basically doing the polar opposite instead of finding the balance. Before it was constant item spam, now its barely anyone using items. Even if people buy items for basing rite now, they will end up stopping after a bit cause they will see theres no progress because they are the only one using items. You would need to rework ALL the bases (probably except 4/6) if any reworking has to be done. Besides, there will always be 1-2 choke points that make it impossible for attackers to get through unless they spam items.

Russky, changing priv freq size wont matter since its not worth it for the attacking team to attack. I personally dont think repel should be a consumable item. Just it people spawn with 2 repels max every life and 1 is given from combo mount making people who dont spend their signature item on combo mount have 1 repel. That way, new/old players can have a chance to help attack without using money.

Probably half the crap we eat today that didn't exist a few hundred years back is carcinogenic. Just gotta watch what you put in ur mouth now days....you will never know if it will hurt your body later on in life.

I find some/most homeless people are just a bunch of lazy bums that just wants to p!@#$%^&* their days without doing anything. I would not give any of my money to these ASSS cause they are useless and will waste the money I give to them. But I wouldnt mind dropping some money for those who actually do something while begging for money. Cause I seen some people who doesnt have a body part and they still try to make some music with w/e limbs are left and they do deserve the money for their effort.

So this college grad....decided to live on the street with $25 and a gym bag without using any of his contacts, education history and what not. Just to see if he could climb out of his self-imposed poverty. His goal: to have a furnished apartment, a car, and $2,500 in savings within a year. 10 months in, he had to stop cause he learned a family member had an illness. At that time he had moved into an apartment, bought a pickup truck, and had saved close to $5,000. Basing is pretty much dead since before ammo system was changed. Defenders has a slight advantage...now its just they have way more advantage than before. I personally dont think minisafes in a base would help as deathmonger said: they can be used by defenders as well. Besides iff the lanc is in the safe, it cant be repped out of it but it may be bricked. Seeing how the problem in basing is not being able to p!@#$%^&* choke points due to a stream of bullets/bombs, my solutions are gonna focus on repping. Heres a few solutions I thought of: Solution #1: Change Deflector Shield's RepelMax +1 to Repel +1....so you get 1 repel ammo every life which means you get 1 repel every life. Or you can add an item you can buy which gives you Repel +1 with a max of 1 per ship. Im not sure if the coding is possible since you get a repel ammo every life and then you get to buy repel ammo so you can hold more than 1. Solution #2: Make the cost of buying repel way less....to less or equal to $10 per repel. That way, it will just force people to remember to buy them but not take alot of money. Solution #3: Just remove repel from the consumable category so you get prized every life instead of buying them. And make it so you can have a max of 2 repel. Then put portal and/or rockets on the consumable list to balance the amount of items you spawn with that you dont need to buy ammo for. Imo, I think solution 3 is best since new players wont need to worry about buying reps to help out in basing. You can make it so combo mount gives 1 repel and something else with lower exp requirement gives another. That way, longer playing players can rep more. Also, it simplifies things because new players wont need to constantly replenish ammo since I figure new players will go for weapons/reactor/sublight instead of items.

Basing is not the only real way to make money, its just faster since it requires less brain work and since people usually run into your bullets/bombs. The main problem I think is that not many people want to buy reps/burst to base. Since they dont buy those items, they cant get thru bullet+bomb lines which tends either feed defenders or cause atkers to give up. But then again, not lotta time has pass.....maybe people will start using items later when they got tons of cash..........

Scouto2, plz get your facts right. Each Gun Ammo Pack = 1200 gun ammo. Meaning a total of 12k gun ammo without buying G-Battery (Allows 5 Extra Gun Ammo Pack) Ammo system mainly affects bounty-ers IN base, not in center. You can still Safe Lame....when you get lotta exp and get high lvl bomb with prox. Just sit near an ammo depot and lame =p

I really wish Valentines Day in America is like how it is in Japan.....where the girls give guys chocolate/stuff. But then again, that might be even worst......all the people around you get chocolates and you dont. The Japanese also has something called White Day (I think) where the guys give chocolates.

If brain thinks its ok to implement the automatic buyer....I suggest that it becomes an special item people can buy. All it does is make you lazy ASSS think less and press a few less buttons so I dont think it should be free.

Apparently op2rules, you know how to buy ammo properly...unlike wat Creamy the Cow said. So Kudos to you and to your guides/tips. Should post this in the Strategy/Tips section next time. Mods wanna move it there?
