Lets define har!@#$%^&*ment. Har!@#$%^&*ment To irritate or torment persistently. To wear out; exhaust. To impede and exhaust (an enemy) by repeated attacks or raids. Vegito was banned for less then a day for both har!@#$%^&*ment and spamming cross-zone. He was warned multiple times over the course of a couple weeks and has a history of this kind of abuse. There is a line where this kind of behavior can be tolerated, until that line is crossed there are other options available to deal with it such as ignoring the offender. However once the line has been crossed the only available option left is a netban. If you don't like being netbanned for severe cross-zone spamming and/or har!@#$%^&*ment I suggest you refrain from doing it. Other then that, you will have to live with it.

Feel free to forward people to me, I am trying my best to help the people getting caught by accident in the netbans resaulting from the increase in cheating but I can't catch everything myself.

The only likely way a zone will get on SSC billing is if an SSC host with available billing slots offers to host the zone. The council does not approve individual zones being added at least not usually.

The council doesn't decide what zones are to be hosted on SSC. The SSC server operators decide that, the council only decides who can host an SSC server. No offense but there are a ton of Infantry zones on SSC now, there is no need for another one. Why don't you try a zone idea that isn't exactly like the 5 other zones already doing it.

Ask Swift, Ghost Ship or as a last resort Platinum-Halo. Each one of them is capable of adding your access. On the topic though, ipblock.txt still works. ^^

If it was netbanfreed in MG it was done so against my rules and it is good it was removed before I saw it. As I already stated if someone wants to banfree it locally they are allowed to do so but we do not remove bans to allow people to use reset names.

Unfortunitely zones getting slots is not held to any standard like server approval.

I just wanted to correct a couple of things. The SSC (SS Council) approves servers for SSC and we are still allowing new servers on SSC. The problem is, there are no non-SSC servers right now that are even remotely close to being up to SSC standards. if someone were to come around who was known to us as being responsible, mature and reliable and the server was reliable as well they would most likely be granted approval.

No? Banned names are not unbanned just so a person may claim the name. We don't reset unused names so they may be claimed so why would we reset bans so the same thing may be accomplished? If you want to use that name I suggest you ask the operators in the zones you frequent if they would banfree it locally. If they say no, to bad. If they say yes, problem solved.

AND this is why I didn't want to put this to a vote. People need to realize it didn't have to be done this way, it could of been one of us just deciding which moderators we wanted period.
