Even if the subgame and client code is different enough to escape copy right infrengement... Continuum uses all of the original graphics and those happen to also be copyrighted. My point is that we cannot fully escape copyright infrengement without completly changing all aspects of the game.

It also further restricts the options available for computer users in both hardware and software upgrades. That is monopolistic and also, very illegal. Unless current laws are ammended or replaced this technology will get a beat down from the legal system the moment a class action is raised against it.

Erm, I was aware that those bills were dorment in Congress. Okay... to repeat this AGAIN. Subchat uses Subspace 1.34 protocol, as such it will NOT connect to a Continuum only zone. You must have VIP or smod+ to be able to login to a Continuum only zone with Subchat. This applies to every client and bot core made excluding Continuum itself.

Actually some zones you can login and play with Subspace, some you can login and spec with Subspace and some you can do neither.
