Especially the first one which is extremely adaptable to the ship you fight. I have tested every combination of design and these will suit a veteran pilot well for EVERY situation no matter which ship you face or which setup they use.
  2. I believe this topic has come up many times, but never in such detail. This idea would bring alot of change to the zone, something that might help the population out alot. Besides that it sounds like it would bring MORE diversity to an already diverse zone as well as exemplify the potential of ASSS beyond the current Hyperspace. Sounds like alot of development work though. (I'm not familiar with ASSS so I could be wrong) Good luck and I hope it goes through.
  3. Perhaps an ?iteminfo index like the one I made? Another addition might be the explanation of ID and Jump. Page 5 needs to be revised. Page 8 needs to be revised. There definitely needs to be an explanation of what maxspeed and maxthrust are. Also needs to be a shrapnel explanation on how it increases damage. (These two things are important because alot of newbs, I was one, simply do not and will never know unless told) Page 10 is missing or removed. (Goes from 9-11) A list of 1-time items should be made available on the FAQ. (bricks) That's all. Not many people really pay attention to the F1 menu though.

  9. I was once staff so I'd throw this out there. Targetted commands do not work when a player is offline or not in the same zone as the staff member... So if someone swears and leaves, you can't fine them. Is it possible to fine a player when they are not present or in another zone? Just an idea

  12. After reading the HE capacitor post I figure why not go further? Looking through the iteminfo guide I made there are plenty of variables you can tweak to get a truly unique ship. Maxmines? Increased mine capacity Afterburner? Increased afterburner speed Brickspan? Increased brickspan (or cage size) Shrapnel? Increase shrapnel Of course you'd need a disadvantage but that's the idea, modifying variables slightly to your needs.
  13. personally it'd be a bad dueling utility, I'd prefer a rate of fire increase and an energy increase. +10% rate of fire +20% energy cost

  19. I agree with this only because it will make HS have a higher pop because new players won't get left out. And as we know HS' pop has dropped a bit since the 60 pop days.

  24. A waste of time. Quite the concept. Two words, waste and time, there is so much meaning for both. What's a waste? That's an opinion question. What is time? I can honestly say I do not know. Time is probably best described by the second law of thermodynamics regarding entropy. If you extend the second law you can conclude time is change, whether on the macroscopic or atomic levels. Which is probably why when nothing appears to change we do not have a concept of time, ie a windowless cell in a pitch black dungeon. Anyhow. What you do is decided by thought processes in your brain which are decided by experiences and memory cells which are carefully chemically balanced. These chemicals and the balance between them are subject to quantum probability and thus, you truly have no free will. Your decisions are based on probabilities of atoms of chemicals that make up brain cells that make decisions for you. When you decided that you were wasting atomic change by posting stuff on a trash talk forum, it was only by chance that what you typed turned out to be this. By the way, I'm just making this up as I go along because I feel like "wasting time" too.
