  1. Bak's is easiest in my opinion (unless you have windows 98 and below, then suffer) Anyhow, in case it was never rotated, I attached the file. I honestly don't know which side is suppose to faced upwards, so I left it as it is.
  2. Don't worry grav, I entirely agree. But there's been a lot of people in the past who reference the wikipedia, and sooner or later some person is bound to put it up for deletion as the wiki article itself isn't referenced. So perhaps (once the main website is done) setting up a history page on sscentral would be a good idea.
  3. Yeah, but he just said no. That's easily fixed by alt+tabbing again, which is not the case. @Incomplete: What do you mean by "stuck in ticker"? What OS are you running? Have you tried runninf Continuum in Windowed mode?
  4. I've had no problems with the download, as long as you copy+paste the link instead of clicking, it should be ok. But yeah, lots of work to be done... And is there any way to change ships?
  5. Try switching back to the Continuum program by using alt+tab. Never fails
  6. Spawned after a merger debate on SubSpace's article on Wikipedia, I noticed (as someone pointed out) the whole article is practically unreferenced. Because of this, some !@#$%^&* is bound to eventually apply delete tags sooner or later, just as they've been/had been doing with the Cosmic Rift and Infantry articles. So since this concerns our game, and have used that Wiki as a reference, it'd be nice if people could help start referencing a lot of the information that's up there, before someone does put the article up for deletion.
  7. we do and i told him to post here My bad, I've never seen you say you had servers, and the fact that you requested dev zone hosting from someone else led me to believe that.
  8. 1. Subspace Development Team does not have servers, you must ask individual server hosts to open up an ASSS (dev) zone. You could try asking BDwinsalt or Confess, or someone else. And your sentence is odd, it starts as a request, ends as a question. But yes, you can turn your zone into ASSS, but as a zone owner, you have to know the basics of how to use ASSS. Try setting up an ASSS dev/test zone on your own computer first.
  9. Just a mirrored article, but still. check it here Edit: I found this one off google news, so that's why.

    Christ

I was gonna write "thank god someone has sense..." but then realized the irony. Yes, the Virgin Mary is held in high regards, and is probably the most known woman figure. HOWEVER, if Mary and/or Jesus are so called 'worshipped', then so are all the other woman and important figures in the Bible, and so would Saints and such be 'worshipped'. But it's not the character themself or the image, but the symbolism they represent, the actions they did, and their teachings, that are so called 'worshipped'. It also fascinates me that Mary is the only female mentioned in the Coran. -------------------- Anyhow, at the core of any religion, is faith. Believe what cannot be seen, touched, smelled, heard, or tasted (- lol... Flying Spaghetti Monster). Even if you don't believe, it's not going to do you any good to waste your time bashing ignorant people who do. Ironically, you might seem like a hypocrit yourself. And the science vs. god debate... drop it. Is it so impossible to say that they might both coincide with each other? Science can't prove or unprove god no matter how much you try. Only your opinion and change/unchange towards the existance of (a) god(s). And to be flat out honest, I couldn't care less for religion, but the principal ideas of which nearly every religion is built upon, I agree with.

Anyway, whether you believe in Christ or not, doesn't mean you're going to !@#$%^&* or Heaven. God judges your actions, your being, and your thoughts; not the labels you put on yourself to prove you're following the best path. Remember, some people never had religion (e.g. autochtones), or even knew the concept of religion (e.g. Japanese), so what'd happen of them after they died? Pergatory. It's in the Bible too.

I refuse to answer, as for some reason I don't believe he's catholic. Which would mean his version of the Bible was edited...
  13. What goes around comes around, staff get shat on for not doing a perfect job, and players suffer the consequences. Sure, a player could leave if he/she hated the game, but isn't the point to promote the zone as a whole and not discourage players to leave? Anyway, HS lacks rules in the first place, so whatever staff is there at the time is the rule basically. And that's the problem, it creates miriads of inconsistencies and problems such as this. Anyway, let DB-e speak for himself before everyone jumps to crazier conclusions.
  14. Uh oh, so much TV I've watched as a child... I practically watched everything, even if I hated it lol. Angry Beavers Pokémon, DBZ, Inuyasha, Digimon... Big comfy couch Are you afraid of the dark? Goosebumps Carebears Power Rangers Animaniacs Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show Dexters Lab Reboot various Disney shows DragonFly Sesame Street Teletubies, Barney & Friends (hey, I was just a kid) The magic school bus Zoboomafoo ...
  15. Not many people, but it makes me feel better to I want to swear at you really... j/k in different languages. On an unrelated note, the forum's now showing up problems today (11 problems according to IE), have trouble replying and using other functions.
  16. Stop deleting your cache... (but yeah, screen shot+more info helps)
  17. All it says are the names of the various languages (arabic, japanese, georgian korean, thai, chinese classical/modern...) Example sentence reads... Kyouwa shibuyani itte, omiyagewo katta "Today I went to Shibuya, and I bought a souvenir" Second random phrase: Tanoshikattadesu. "It was fun". Yeah, lame, but I was bored.
  18. All of you have given him bad advice, since you're all thinking of "fatal error 000004bc". Reason: Continuum doesn't recognize alternative compatibility settings. And the fact that Continuum didn't run before is because it's got the common bug caused by Antiviruses/firewalls or something similar. If you can open Continuum through "run+as", then that means 100% something is blocking Continuum from running normally; that, and Continuum will be jumping all over your task manager. If neither of those things help, please post again.
  19. I'm not grouping Deva anywhere, you did. Constant=always 30+, Average=close to 30 or more at all times, Average daily peak=average of players on at best times. Deva's just a zone capable of attaining 30+pop, just like most other small zones. And if you re-read this quote: It doesn't define how to interpret a 'pop of atleast 30', so that's up to you. Anyhow, a zone is a zone, and that definition can't be changed in the end. I don't say I agree with freakmonger
  20. I like the way you did the players tab (even though you can't do much with it yet), but my suggestion would be to have it use the metric system instead. Blame me for being Canadian, but if I say "Player A = 5ft'5", I have no clue what that is in inches, and it'd just be simpler to use cm over inches and/or feet. Anyway, not a huge problem, I can easily ignore it atm. Other suggestions (you don't have to implement them of course though): ~add more positions (right, left, stopper, sweeper, midfield [inside right/left, outside right/left], etc.) ~add player #, and optional field to add extra information (and possibly have optional add player photo) ~add manager(s) in edit ~add phone numbers/e-mails/fax contact options ~add an alt over game records to explain "win/loss/tie" For record a game as it goes, it looks nifty, but you'd need a "start/stop/edit time recording button". And it also says 'opponet'. +I like the fact unicode is supported I can't think of anything else right now, and can less help you with your coding :/
  21. If you read what I said... constant population of over 30... At the time I checked, HZ had only 6. And at the time I post this, 34. So wherever you got 70 from is definitely not an average pop.
  22. locatoin Yep, much clearer now and all that's suppose to work works. And by tab, I mean "push the tab key to enter text in the next field below"... Yours skips forward and back in textfields.
  23. Wonder if SSCI Devastation counts then... That leaves only these as real zones then: 1. SSCU Trench Wars 2. SSCU Extreme Games 3. SSCU Death Star Battle* *(possibly doesn't meet the quota) All other zones had less than 30 (remove bots, speccers, and voilà, 3 zones). So technically, no one's staffed in a 'real' zone. If the pop isn't consistent of 30+ active players, then it's not a zone right? -- But if inconsistencies are allowed, then a lot more zones meet the quota (including Devastation which has hit over 30 pop)
  24. Err, there has been a base that was spacious, which was up before Christmas for over 2 months, and after for about the same time. (bottom right) Which is about the only thing you do, no offense. You can't just come in and want to change a zone when 99% of the time you're specced no matter what. Just log on when tm_master isn't online and have a short match with other people, is that so impossible? tm_master isn't on 24/7, so what if when he is the games are long? As you said, points/reccing are useless since there's no credits to work for, no buyables and such. So just play a bit, and go to bed instead of complaining about a jackpot which as you said is useless.
