  1. Unfortuneately, the other topic did have a lot of materials that make it a junk topic. You have to remember that sometimes small children go to these forums. Repair costs are a relic of the last round. They were set for a much more powerfull varient. Unfortunately, the last time Polix tried editing weapons properties during the game, it deleted everyone's weapons as a result. My suggestion is to buy weaker weapons. Even if you went for L4 bombs instead, the repair costs is signficantly lower.
  2. 1) Only one account per person. 2) No automated processes, macros, scripts or other 'non human being' run account activity is allowed. 3) No sharing or giving out your account details to others. 4) No logging into other people's accounts. 5) Attempts to break into accounts, the game, or otherwise disrupt or slow down the game, or server, are strictly illegal. 6) Using bugs or exploits of any kind, or knowing of and not reporting bugs or exploits, is illegal. 7) Any breaking of the rules can result in punishment, suspension, banning, or account deletion. No deliberate attempts to prevent staff from doing their jobs. 9) You may not post your link in places it isn't welcome. This includes other forums, message boards, blogs, chatrooms, zone's public chats, email, etc. For reference, in this forum you do have permission to use your link in your sig, but not to post it in any topics. Keep in mind rule "2" also applies to links as well. 10) A clan must have a leader who is both playing and active. If the leader becomes inactive, an active member of that clan will be chosen by staff. If the clan has no active members, it will be deleted.
  3. Prittk isn't coming back?!? What?!? *tears off shirt and falls on knees* NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! !!!!!!
  4. Whatever, if you think its more of a challenge to take me on that bagelrific right now, I'll take it as a compliment.
  5. Alright, how about the arguement 2 vs 4 is closer to even than 1 vs 5?
  6. Well, I meant to include mental pain as well.... But we agree outside of hair splitting. That !@#$%^&* can drive you crazy.
  7. Look, it's not the worst song I ever heard. Infact, its not even the worst mid 20th century song I've heard about The Hobbit. It was the 60s or 70s. People back then were WIERD. He's not that bad of a singer either. First off its a dumb song and there's only so much he can do with it. Secondly, he just happens to be a tenor, and there hasn't been a vocalist in 20 years that sang tenor or base except in hip hop and country. Basically, most people don't know what a good tenor sounds like any more. That all being said, he still should have stuck to acting. I wouldn't call it torture, but in all seriousness that is the type of song that the CIA likes to use in interrogations. Irl they use Sesame Street and Barney theme songs. The idea isn't to cause pain, but to drive the listener a little crazy so that they question their own motives. Its sad. Public perception of interrogations are crude hollywood examples of the interrogator inducing pain until the interogatee talks. That technique is crude, ineffective, and prone to cause the subject to lie. True interrogation is a sophisticated art of convincing the subject that he WANTS to tell you what he knows. Songs that are overly happy and chearfull can do that.
  8. No, you can use it. I just had a spurt of sleep depravation.
  9. You've proven that I have a temper. Wow...everyone else here knows that much. Add in lack of sleep and the fact that my biggest ally went turncoat and that explains it. Obviously I don't spend much time in Metal Gear. Given the cir!@#$%^&*stances, don't blame me for being suspicious. To me, you are a bunch of new names that I haven't seen before. I know you two weren't around when I said this...but, a few months ago I said that one hasn't become an elitist jerk in this game until they start giving "justifications" for their attacks. This whole, "you DARED accused me of being underhanded, so I'm sabbing your whole clan" thing is what I was talking about. I admit that while I am good at these games, these games aren't good for me. I have a tendancy to go overboard. I guess I should apologize to you two then. Your probably aren't cheaters, though you are jerks...and I'm not apologizing to Shock. Poor sportsmanship in words is one thing, poor sportsmanship in action is quite another, I don't care what your excuses are...the field was barely balanced before and you switched sides so that it became unbalanced. At the same time, don't get too !@#$%^&*y. Many of the reasons you are winning have to do with poor game balance and not skills. You are making some newbie mistakes that through fault of the settings are panning out. Also, most of the reason you are "owning" is because you have a short-term strategy.
  10. Alright, you can't imagine how from my position in might look like kloudxero and bagelrific might look like the same person? Especially now that when I offend one of you, the other suddenly gets online, transfers all is weapons to the other so that the other can launch some attacks? I'm absolutely certain for one that FoRsaKeNplus is an old alias for somebody...that name doesn't even exist in Continuum any more. Transferring stuff is one thing, but creating a second account the sole purpose of which is to transfer materials to the first is the most commonly attempted cheat in KoC games. I obviously can't prove my accussations. At the same time however, the fact that Vegita and I are two different people is obvious. And I'm not the only one who's thinking this by the way. And Shock, you better shut the !@#$%^&* up right now. The only reason you got to where you are is because you were in our clan and we helped you, and then you suddenly decided to change sides. A real sportsman would have enjoyed the challenge of having two competing clans. You want to switch to the winning side when the going gets tough? Fine...just don't come back all holier-than-though for it. The only reason you aren't "losing" is because you decided to pull a Benedict Arnold.
  11. WAIT A SECOND!!! kloudxero, why would you, who officially is ranked 28 and is in no clan care about this? You clearly have transferred all weapons and income out of your account, which is an odd thing to do if you have no clan. Especially given that you are looking into this forum when on paper you have quit the game. Could it be that the other account you are using is in the MG Terrorist clan?
  12. I've lost before, and I'm not really losing now either. I'm first off pissed because I haven't slept properly in four days. Secondly, its just a gut feeling. Your clan spontaneously generated 3 strong accounts since NOON. Granted one of them was a !@#$%^&*ing traitor, but still. Maybe you could be ringers, but given that you clan uses an !@#$%^&*-backward strategy, I doubt it. You people each have way more money than I do, but your conventional income is 1/4th mine. Also, bagelrific got sabbed today, and what do you know, the minute he noticed his spy rating increased dramatically, as if he had the funds on hand all along. Also take into account that when Veg did give me his forces, my rank didn't go up. Usually such a dramatic shift in power means something. The way I see it, bagelrific found some sort of bug, and today he told the rest of you what the bug is. I mean, lets examine all the possibilities to gain points here: 1) Posting...but your clan doesn't post, and it is impractical 2) Arcade...but yout clan members haven't spent time in the arcade based upon user profiles 3) Income...based upon the number of soldiers you have, and you have few soldiers. 4) Bank Accounts...they have been nerfed 5) Attacking...however, that still doesn't explain all of it. Especially how a couple new players could come out of nowhere since 11 this morning.
  13. Are you kidding? How do you think I got my UP up so fast early in the game? I've spent 19 hours intentionally losing at Tetris getting 10k points at a time. However, none of the MG infidels have spent that kind of time in the arcade according to their profiles. What I'm guessing is they must have found some way to play the game once three days ago, and keep submitting that score over and over. I mean, judging by pop my income is four times theirs right now, and that's after Veg gave me all his stuff. I should be catching up but I'm not. Its like they have some hidden super income like the banks were in the last round.
  14. !@#$%^&*. I don't want to be immature here, but it seriously looks like the MG terrorists are either cheating or exploiting some major bug. About 5 of them just came out of nowhere with tons of weapons. I'll scan everything over and see if there isn't a bug I didn't notice. Edit: Okay, I noticed every one of them has played the Arcade Game "Bat and Mouse" on April 3. This is strange because for most of them that is the only arcade game they play, and otherwise these people are ghosts. No posts or anything. I guess my first question is this: Can anyone think of a way it would be possible to submit the same score over and over?
  15. Hmmm, now that I think of it, I should re-release the 2nd sequel of my famous sub-event to Metal Gear. Sama knows which one I'm talking about. The formation of a clan named after a sexual organ proves that the zone has a large enough population of perverts to appreciate it.
  16. Its nothing by my standards too. I just wanted to continue the bacon smuggling joke. 25% of 5 mil is 1.25 mil. I make that much in two hours.
  17. Hmmm, come to think of it, that explains all the problems this time around. You notice that with exception to myself, all the people on top are newbies, and all the experienced players are near the bottom. Also, I have observed a lot of instances of turnly attacking. Well, its not economically viable at this point to repair weapons. It's cheaper to just buy new weapons and bring your average damage down. As such, those who don't repair their weapons are better off. Also, the force that prevents turn by turn attacks as well as large players picking on small ones is mostly the fact that weapons need to be repaired. Since the people on top don't repair their weapons, they don't hesitate to attack people for pocketchange. If they repaired their weapons, such attacks would be a loss for them, but they don't. The solution requires two things. First off, it needs to be cheaper to repair weapons so those that do so aren't penalized. Secondly, there needs to be a stronger consequence to not repairing weapons. There are two possibilities I can think of. Either increase the damage a weapon receives per attack, or forbid players from buying new weapons until their old ones are fixed. I recommend the first. The second one seems so arbitrary and artificial.
  18. Refugees arrived from Vegeland today. The country had been ravaged by hourly attacks from various infidels. The Ailestani government was happy to offer asylum to the regugees. In other news, Ailestani forces raided bacon smuggling hideouts in the infidel nation of attraction early this morning. These were the first raids against the smugglers outside of Ailestan. The raids broke up many smuggling rings and confiscated over 135,000 foloose in illegal money. No word yet on how attraction intends to respond.
  19. I was going to send some spies to sabotage the royal offense and royal defense.
  20. It was an analogy, not a relationship. I could have said overeating or watching too much TV. Its caused by people with problems that they can't solve on their own, but because our society has put up so many social barriers, these people have to generate a subs!@#$%^&*ute for an actual social life. Each behavior has little things that cause it to be the addiction of choice over the others. The quirck with homosexuals is a lack of healthy relationships with people of the other gender. The crude example is when there are no people of the opposite sex, such as in prisons or some of the armies of antiquity. Most cases however, are more subtle, likely resulting from years of unhealthy relationships, so that it goes far back that the person doesn't know otherwise, and !@#$%^&*umes he or she was born that way. Hence why many gay men obsess about their mother, because their relationship with their mother was unhealthy. That also explains why this is a relatively modern occurrance. Yes, it's not an exclusively modern occurance, it probably existed a little bit in all of history. However, in the last 50 years, it has become very difficult to socialize. How many of us actually know our neighbors or meet with the community on a regular basis, outside of a few friends? Under such cir!@#$%^&*stances, the average person's range of social contacts is limited, which decreases the chance of forming any sort of healthy relationship. Ofcourse, you won't find an expert who agrees with me, because all the experts are sociologists taught by university professors that the homosexual agenda is something that should be pushed. I stopped taking their word for it on this issue when whatever university claimed that 25% of people "have potential" to be homosexual. That is a clear case of generating a statistic that could go up and down based upon the subjective defintion of "having potential to be homosexual". I have a career in the natural sciences. I do not respect the opinion of these psuedo-scientific fools. I could explain why, but it is long and irrelevent to the topic. Suffice to say, the work of these people is just there to provide a smokescreen for their opinion. Ofcourse, if biologists and geneticists ever found a "gay gene", I would have to respect their statements. However, that wouldn't change my overall opinion though, because it would change it from a psychological disease to a genetic defect, like cancer. Gay Marriage crosses a line that Gay Sex doesn't. The homosexual movement loves the arguement that the state doesn't have a right to tell them how to live. Gay Marriage however goes further than that. It would mean the state would have to force the populace to have a certain amount of tolerance for homosexual behavior. I don't think its an alternative lifestyle, I think its a condition that is to be cured. If the government passed an amendment in favor of gay marriage, I would not be allowed to have that opinion. It would force me to treat it as an alternative lifestyle in all my professional dealings. The current arguement that "They do no harm and society shouldn't tell them how to live their lives." does not justify going this far. In order to p!@#$%^&* into the realm of gay marriage, you would have to provide an arguement which actually shows a benefit to the society great enough to justify forcing an opinion upon 300 million people.
  21. I wouldn't leave the country if Obama were elected president. Any of the others and I might consider it... Ofcourse if the Republicans nominate Conzolizza Rice, the Democratic Primary wouldn't matter.
  22. So, in english, you went on a Kamikaze mission. (Okay, that's Japanese, don't be sarcastic)
  23. I think you misunderstand what I said. The super saver account needs a certain amount of points in it to begin with before it will explode. What I said was that it will take atleast one more week before anyone even has the kind of money necessary to use as a catalyst for an explosion. Even, then it won't be that much of an extra income. It would never reach the quadrillions like it did last round. In the meantime feel free to spend it how you want. You have a choice of either spending it on small weapons and not having an attack strength to match the meatheads, or you can spend it on big weapons and not have enough money to repair them after a 1 turn attack. Either way, you'll likely have to bank every hour as I have had to for the past couple days. Please, in the future, keep in mind that a 1 day starter period of no attacks is not the same as a 3 day starter period of no attacks.
  24. Well, last time I had a test to study for and didn't speak up. Besides, at the time I was making a shipset for tsoccerman...though that was a mistake as I've probably killed his zone. No one will play in pub because they will all go the the subarena to stare at the beutiful shipset I made. Next time, maybe. Though the problem is that if I did so I'd be accused of using my position to give myself an unfair advantage. Besides, my track record is that I killed the last RPG forum I moderated...I tried to roleplay a good badguy, but overdid it and creeped people out. On a side not I tend to be domineering, and arrogant goes without saying.
  25. Duh I'm just pissed because I after one attack I had half a bil repair bill. The idiot who's attacking me has 30 of these weapons and cleared little over 100,000 points. It costs the moron 20 times that for him to repair his weapons. But the point is that weapons cost more to repair than they should. They seem to take on the same repair costs as they did in the last round.
