I don't want 3d ships. The zone has always had 2d ships and I don't want to stray away from that, just want to give them an upgrade for accuracy and aesthetics ya know?

I suck with graphics work. Period. This is what I need (All my dev cohorts are MIA with life (TJ, MD, etc): I have a shipset (soldiers)... or should I say a hodgepodge of several ships from several shipsets that I need edited and re-rotated. Basically they all have the guns held right handed and thus the bullets are firing from off center but I just want all the ships edited so the gun barrels are held from the center or as close to center as possible so the barrel+bullets are center firing. Also, they may be a bit too big and I may want them shrunk a bit. This is pretty easy work for anyone with a modicum of intelligence. There may be some color change work or other mindless crap but the ships are all there for the most part so anyone whos decent with photoshop could do this. I'm just out of resources at this point for gfx work. Please help, Lt

This Sunday (9/27) we will be having a big event in DS! If we hit 15v15 players in game on Sunday then everyone in the zone will get 1 million creds + 1,000 exp! Nobody has ever been curious about this? Lol. Do we know for certain if it's hardcoded?

Is it possible to change the default folder that continuum saves a getfile or pulls a putfile from? A registry edit perhaps?

If it boots to the Windows login screen then the hard drive is probably not bad.. at most it would be a bad sector which is repairable. It sounds like data corrupted on a bad write during impact or something rattled loose and theres a BIOS issue which resetting the CMOS would resolve.

All of those suggestions are dandy but I've run into that issue before and 90% of the time a CMOS reset takes care of the problem. Go online and grab ur schematics for the laptop and open the puppy up. Take the CMOS battery and the normal battery out (the CMOS battery looks like a watch battery.) This will reset the BIOS. Wait a few minutes and slap it all back together. IF that didnt fix the problem then do a repair install as was stated above. You will have to reset your system clock in the BIOS when the PC starts back up as well. While you have the thing open you may want to ensure that all the connections are seated properly, especially the connections to the HDD. Or have a tech saavy friend do these instructions for you. I work in I.T. btw I do this for a living.

I'm an intel supporter. While it may be true that AMD USED TO make superior chips, that no longer holds water. Intel is pushing past AMD more and more in the nano technology race and the new lines of intel chips beat AMD in bench tests every time. My advice? Fuck AMD get a core I7. Intel chips are starting to have on-die graphics processing and the chip infrastructure is better. AMD is going to eventually have to take it in the pooper and shack their processor tech because theres no way they will outmatch intel.

That is the worst script I've ever seen in my life. Whats the purpose of this if it will have no appeal? It's not funny or clever really... it's just meh. If you really want to do this I would suggest doing it well so as not to make the SS community look worse than it already is in reality

I have personal bias against the dutch who screwed me over in DS (vili and jeri and their cohorts). Too much to get into. Not gonna get into any of that crap here though.

Killious did the towers that we don't use anymore. Thats all I can think of that he did aside from a few maps. All the other gfx were done by MD or TJ or Kame as far as I can recall top of my head.

Cham you're such a noob Killious was decent, all he did was make maps though. Sideburn was a festering cancer on DS.
