  1. Ok so what's the problem? They get all the same rights and can call it marriage. You agree.
  2. So what about the word "marriage"? Do they go to jail if they say it?
  3. Rofl. They're extremely important in modern society.
  4. Rofl did you ever think that gays can create a church to call it "marriage" too? Also, why is the word so holy all of a sudden that the church controls it? Your civil union idea ONLY works if same sex couples get ALL the rights of opposite sex couples and then they can still call themselves married because it's called...oh I don't know...FREE SPEECH. OK LET'S DISREGARD SURVEYS FROM NOW ON THEY CAN'T BE ACCURATE IF THEY DISAGREE WITH YOU!!! There were a number of surveys I believe. If by "years old" you mean 3 years then yes they're all "years old" and blippity bloop blop all the survey research is a lie unless it agrees with you and needs to be within this week unless it agrees with you.
  5. Divorce rate myth: Liberals and Gay people will destroy the sanc!@#$%^&*y of marriage... http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_dira.htm http://www.ncpa.org/pd/social/pd111999g.html http://www.sullivan-county.com/bush/divorce.htm http://www.nytimes.com/2004/11/14/weekinre...6&%2338;ei=5090 http://www.divorcereform.org/94staterates.html map here: http://wps.ablongman.com/ab_henslin_essent...2-,00.utf8.html Hmm possibly the bluest state and the one that allows gay marriage has the lowest divorce rate. With the exception of Nevada with its ridiculously easy divorces, the bible belt states have the highest divorce rates. Blue states in general have lower divorce rates than red states especially in the northeast which is accused of not having ethics on divorce. Atheists and agnostics have lower divorce rates than conservative christians. Is it just me or is this an eye opener? So what's all the hype about the blue states destroying the sanc!@#$%^&*y of marriage??? UH OH SPAGHETTIOS!!!
  6. True, but this doesn't apply with Iran and the United States; Iran has not attacked the United States and we probably wouldn't be saving anyone. For the record, Iran's president is extreme and talks like a madman but he doesn't really have any power other than free speech. Also, support from Iran isn't any kind of respectable cause it's just support from a country trying to extend it's influence. There are no excuses for what Hezbolla did. They deserve to be bombed. The question is whether the innocent civilian casualties are worth it not whether Hezbollah deserves to be destroyed.
  7. A pretty extreme approach to the problem...lets not nuke or carpet bomb Iran k? Also, I don't think Iraqis would like feeling like a staging area for US political expansion. I don't think muslim people would appreciate having some of their media forcibly dismantled and replaced with puppet media...this types suggestion falls along the lines of the actions of the really horrible regimes in history. Calling for immoral actions as the lesser of two evils would be crossing a dangerous line.
  8. This is unrelated to the United States other than we were targets. Koodos to the Brits.
  9. HEZBOLLAH HAS NO CAUSE! Israel LEFT Lebanon six years ago. There's no reason for Hezbollah to attack Israel. HAMAS has a cause. HEZBLLAH WANTS POWER! Newsflash...Iran's cause is POWER. They're interfering in order to show that they have influence. There is no just cause or difficult situation like with the Palestinians. Hezbolla has no right to attack Israel and they caused the present situation themselves. There are no excuses. Revenge isn't an excuse. There's nothing for Lebanon to gain from any of this. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization just like Al Qaeda. I can understand all of the problems that Palestinian organizations have with Israel but Hezbolla is a Shiite Lebanese organization with no real loss to the creation of Israel. The question is if Israel's response was disproportionate. There is no question, except maybe in the Muslim world if Hezbolla was just in what they did.
  10. Hezbollah were surprised by the response because they expected that they could launch rockets at Israel or capture Israeli citizens inside Israel any time they want and Israel would stand idly by and show the world that when you attack Israel you get rewarded. This would not be a problem for any other country.
  11. Haha I love " " By the way I'm not a Republican and I rairly consult FOX yet I still agree with Worthless . This isn't a partisan issue in the U.S. Most people can see the difference between a rational and democratic country and a terrorist organization. By the way, Hezballa denies that it's having any casualties hoping that the international community will stupidly think that Israel is blindly attacking civilians. I guess some people did fall for it...
  12. Let's give back all countries in the Americas back to the Native Americans and let's give back Australia and New Zealand and let's give back the North African countries back since they were taken over by Arab Muslims. Let's also give back just about every area on the planet to someone or another.
  13. The Jews went for that land themselves and all I'm saying is let's not forget the lessons of the past and be quick to call for another Holocaust. Terrorism and acts of war against a stronger country is STUPID. Rather than trying to be stupid and look for killing to somehow help your cause try to better yourselves first and build international connections. Just because bad things have happened to you is NOT an excuse for revenge.
  14. Does the Muslim world think they need their own Holocaust of the Jews before they can stop persecuting them? Is that some sort of right?
  15. In a world war no one would win hence nuclear destruction.
  16. I agree with most of what Worthless said . Also just because we have troops in Iraq doesn't mean we can't use our Navy and Air Force and even a small contingent of our troops (the best in the world) to blow the !@#$%^&* out of Iran and Syria. Syria is a backwards country that we can overtake in a few days and Iran can't last more than a month as there are different groups in Iran that want independence from this fake democracy they put up. People are quick to forget about the last Holocaust and look for another Holocaust against the Jews. The Jews are the only ones who should really have the land because neither the Muslim world nor the Christian world can have it without outraging the other group. The Jews have always been the ones the land belongs to. Sorry to Palestine, but if we really want to talk about groups forced out of their land let's consider the Christians in Lebanon forced into minority status by Muslim groups and Syria and the Armenian genocide by the Muslim Ottomans or the very recent and still ongoing genocidal acts on the people of Darfur by government backed Muslim militants where if we took action would have outraged the Muslim world. No one says that we should make them turn the situation back to the way it was before when the situation is reversed. Let's look at the 1974 forced Greek exodus out of northern Cyprus (their own rightful land) to supposedly protect the much smaller Muslim majority in Cyprus. You don't see us blowing ourselves up in Turkey to get our land back even though it's rightfully ours and Turkey has committed acts against the Geneva Convention trying to transfer their own population into our country. Now there is international pressure on Turkey because we are in the European Union and they are blocked from the European Union because we were peaceful and fixed what was left of our own country and looked to get back what's ours peacefully. Terrorist attacks and acts of war solve nothing in the long run. If the Muslims and Jews were reversed, the Muslims would gladly even commit genocide against millions and suddenly it won't be so bad even though 300 deaths somehow is considered a genocide by some people. If your country's government can't even take their own land back from a terrorist group then your government is an absolute failure. The United States makes mistakes and has made mistakes, but that never meant that terrorist and totalitarian groups suddenly have the right to do what they do.
  17. I hope Syria attacks Israel and Israel retaliates so Iran takes action by sending troops to attack Israel through Iraq giving the United States an excuse for war with Iran with European backing and Russia and China are forced to protect their oil interests in Iran. World War 3 yay!!!!! We're all gonna die!
  18. It's not lowfat if you eat 10 gallons of it
  19. Haha that's exactly what I did!!
  20. Haha no we don't even have the ability to withdraw troops. The only way to withdraw troops would be to wait for large amounts of Iraqi soldiers trained and/or get international support. Also, sorry bad source on national guard numbers sent to the border with Mexico.
  21. This is how the Republicans can change the subject from their horrible economic and foreign relations policies and their m!@#$%^&* corruption. Attack the gays!
  22. So are you suggesting we have sex with dolphins?
  23. The problem in Iraq is we need a much larger contingent of troops to keep order. How do you expect with our troops already in Iraq and Afghanistan, Bush's plans to send m!@#$%^&* numbers of soldiers around the border with Mexico, the standard requirement to have enough soldiers to protect our country from invasion, and the requirement to send troops in case of another hurricane disaster to have enough troops to be sent to Iran? Iran is quite larger than Iraq is as well. We would probably need an occupation force of at least a million. I don't think the Europeans, even with a united support of the United States, have enough manpower for this task and we have two options. Russia and China have plenty of troops to help us if we can win them over OR we would need to reinstate the draft.
