Yes, but Turkey is applying directly into the European Union.
-
Norway was just for comparison with Tunisia. I'm just saying there will be an expansion outside Europe and who know where this will lead.
-
Turkey is trying to get membership into the European Union. Also, Tunisia will be given status similar to that of Norway soon. Interesting since they aren't actually in Europe.
-
I think Russia has too many problems to be added right now, especially considering their size.
-
My country got added recently so thats cool ;-). Also it seems to be starting to expand past Europe.
-
If I didn't live in the US I'd live in a European Union country because then i could move around wherever I want.
-
I like them, they'll shake things up in the world.
-
Start a new thread about the European Union . I'll start it...

Learjett's right. We don't like him. Foreigners seem to like him because he criticizes the US government.

"Super heat"? The do!@#$%^&*entary does address that. There are no secret informants here. Your argument is flawed. Nor is this some sudden conspiraccy suggested last week. It's been going on since 9/11, but no one is willing to hear it. Saying I'm being receptive is an easy way not to back up your claims... I'm not saying its definetely true. I'm saying it's possible and when people are unwilling to question the government that is when the government does whatever the !@#$%^&* they want. Did you watch the video or skim it? If you watched it then you would see how they dispute the stuff on your links. Either watch it or don't comment on it...
-
A) The government isn't some bumbling little child that has no capabilities. Have you ever looked at the official explanation for the fall of the towers? If the towers fell as soon as the plane hit that would be a completely ridiculous event with no explanation. C) It's easy to say "OMG its a conspiracy nut so don't listen." When you find the proof refuting some of the stuff on that tape post the link. D) If you disprove it then good, but actually disprove it first.

George Bush isn't a traditional conservative. If you look at the no bid contracts that are given, they go to the ccompanies that donate to the campaigns. Certain companies gained from 9/11.
-
It could happen, actually. There are a lot of powerful interests involved. I don't know if the towers fell in free fall for sure id have to make my own measurements. I did see how the towers fell and evidence of demolition, but I am far from an expert. All I'm saying is, I wouldn't be that surprised if it was true. It was all extremely convenient.

$30 billion over a period of time, not every year. Besides, the funding to NASA will be the same as it always was, just NASA will be forced to cut and delay other programs. As for the military budget, that literally can be the end to world hunger.
-
Well if you watched the video, you would see the suggestion. A controlled demolition allows for near free fall. Terrorists could never get bombs in several places in the towers to make it look like it was falling on its own. Only the United States government would have this power. I'm not saying i agree with this, but if you honestly think any politician is looking out for the people, then you are sadly ignorant to politics. To think Bush is special is a ridiculous claim.
-
Sending an astronaut to Mars would be pretty much suicide for the astronaut at this point. Regardless, it isn't like we are spending tons of resources on this. Cut the military budget slightly and that would be equal to the funding of NASA.
-
It is believable that the towers fell that way, but not in free fall. If there is an obstacle in the way, such as lower floors, then the tower would not go down in free fall. Also, watch how they fall its like halfway through the video i forget. As for Ducky, saying you're a nut is an easy way to dismiss something without looking into it.

Pushing it off to a thousand years from now might just end up causing our end. If we deveop our technology far enough then survivors would already exist on other planets and stations.
-
I found the way the towers fell very interesting.

We can't live on Earth for a billion years. It is very difficult to sustain the Earth for even a million years with just our massive population. I'm not saying the Earth is disposable, I just think we need to spur technology growth in these fields so that one day we can have self sustaining colonies elsewhere that way we don't have to put all our eggs in one basket. Did you ever think that saving the Earth might require having other options? It wasn't efficient to have colonies in the Americas at first either, but the world developed and now we have the United States. We also aren't getting rid of our nuclear weapons. We are only developing more destructive ones. Humanity could easily be wiped off the face of the Earth any day and then no more people ever again. Everything everyone has ever done will mean absolutely nothing and no future for the human race in this scenario. I don't know about you, but this is a very unsettling thought to me.

Twisted facts how? You can't just call something twisted facts and not back it up. You can download the whole thing if you wanted, but with a crappy connection i don't know how long it would take.

Going to the moon and the space shuttle were not a waste of time. Do you think we can simply live on this rock called Earth forever? Earth can provide us a lot of things but it is not limitless. Eventually we will need to look elsewhere and I, myself, would like to be prepared for that rather than letting other generations worry about it. Of course we should rebuild New Orleans. New Orleans would not have been flooded if they had adequate anti flood equipment. Would you say let's not rebuild on Ground Zero after 9/11 because it will just get attacked by terrorists again?

Watch the whole thing before making a judgement. You watched 30 seconds so you completely missed the point altogether. You can comment on it too.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2023320890224991194 Don't begin to judge it until you watch the whole thing. I didn't say I agree with it, I just think it's interesting.

Well the media wants ratings. They are, after all, businesses That's why I like CBS better because they're funded by the government. By the way the Alito hearings are now being shown on CBS. You should watch them.
