Mercenary Suggestion for Next Round
Falcoknight replied to Falcoknight's topic in General Discussion
Okay..I agree with a FEW of Ani's points, but not all. 1. Spy needs to be nerfed, or something else needs to be strengthened to balance it out. In the last 5 days you've sabbed what, 15,000 of my maneuver whatevers? Twice you've taken out more than 50% of my items in the armory, while being invulnerable to attack. It's absolutely ludicrous. 2. Banking needs to be taken out. Even without interest, people will just bank all the time and ranks don't matter until, like Ani said, the hour before the round ends. Also, in the other version of 'SSRpg' that I played, there was no bank, and it didn't end up with only the most active people being on top, as one may expect. I managed to stay in the top three for the 3 months it lasted before it degraded because of the lack of reset and sloooooooow UP, but the top 5-10 was constantly fluctuating, because of a COMBINATION of sabs and attacks, and buying items when you have money, not just sabbing someone for all their items and killing their rank, then hoarding all your money in the bank until the round ends. Some things that Ail said that I agree with, however. 1. Elimination of clans. While Penis clan was huge, I still attacked many members towards the end, as I needed money and the target range was just too slim. The higher ranked and more active members, however, I made sure never to attack. (So to me, I was only in a clan of 5-8 ^^) Removal of the clans, or seperating them into two large teams would, to me, make it more fun. 2. (I think this was one of Ail's points, anyway.) Increase of higher end weapon and defense item prices. With the UP and income, it's just too easy to get massive stats and screw everything up. You should have to work for a numerous amount of high end weapons, not attack three or four people and buy a thousand of the best attack or defense weapons. Basically, we've still got a lot of bugs to work out. -
Mercenary Suggestion for Next Round

When I'm on the receiving end? I don't believe I've _ever_ decided I wanted to turn all my troops into spies/sentries and sabbed people up the !@#$%^&* and made it so I couldnt be attacked by any of the people whos items I destroy. You see I believe games like this should be set up so that every aggressive action you take has a good chance that you will receive retribution, not made in such a way that you can cost someone tens of millions of points in one blow just to be cheap and sit invulnerable to attack, while having so little troops that sabbing you back is incredibly pointless, as I can't sab your spy items. -
Mercenary Suggestion for Next Round

I still think it's completely re!@#$%^&*ed that Ail can regularly sab THOUSANDS of my items, while he can sit pretty and not have to worry about retribution, as I can't attack him. But if Mercs are taken out, UP either needs to be increased, or weapon prices need to be drastically increased. What is the point of making money when you don't have enough soldiers to do anything with it, and to attack to get more you lose as many soldiers as you make? -
Mercenary Suggestion for Next Round
Falcoknight replied to Falcoknight's topic in General Discussion
200 per hour would make virtually no difference whatsoever. The same people who wait and buy them every hour would probably still make enough per hour to buy all 600 mercs instead of 300. An increase in price and an increase in production by around 500+ would make it so that it would actually be possible for most people to buy mercs. -
Either A) Increase the rate that they are spawned or Increase the cost by a _lot_. I make/have enough money now, even with only ~16k troops, so that I can afford many more weapons than I have soldiers. I have my UP at 100, so it shouldn't be a problem, unfortunatly it is. With every attack I make, army size doesn't seem to matter. On very, very lucky attacks I'll only lose 30 soldiers. On most I'll lose 50-100. So for me to make any money at all, I have to suffer enough casualties to almost completely negate my UP. I already have more weapons than soldiers, and enough money to double that number, so what is my only solution? Buy mercs. That, however, is a completely useless feature to me, as I've only been able to buy a few hundred ONCE in the last week, as they are almost ALWAYS sold out, as they regen in such small amounts that they are all bought on the spot. Obviously me being in the number one spot shows that the amount of soldiers is not the most important thing in winning, but if I had even remotely close to the amount of troops I need to match the number of weapons, the gap would probably be much larger. So I propose the following. Mercenary regen should be changed from 100 an hour, to at least 1000 an hour. As they don't bring any income and die first, having a massive amount of mercs wouldn't necessarily give a huge advantage to any one person. If not the previous idea, drastically increase the price of Mercenaries. They are what 3000/3500 a merc now? Why not increase it to 6000/7000, or even 9000/10500? By increasing the price it forces people to think before they buy them, and make sure they have a reason to buy them. Or even, better yet, a combination of both of the above ideas! Increase the merc output, maybe not to 1000, but maybe 500+? Along with increasing the price to at least 6000 a merc. With both of these combined, it would widen the array of those who have an opportunity to buy mercenaries to those outside the group of the few who simply sit and wait for the exact regen time and buy them as quickly as possible, with no real actual purpose for their stats. (Which has become apparent with how many people have massive armies at lower ranks. What does everyone think?

And Penis takes ranks 1, 2, and 3 =o

Poor Ail.. Only 1,090 sharks?

Falconia has decided that since their leader cannot devote the time necessary to maintain the number two rank, they will instead simply invest their money into their extremely secure bank. Extreme budget cuts to the Falconian military and intelligence agency has caused some controversy, but the citizens appreciate the hundreds of millions of dollars put back into the nation.
-
Falconian citizens rejoice as Falconia momentarily retakes the top rank. The Falconian government of course reminds them that it will most likely be short lived, but to dance in the streets and have public orgys as much as they want until we fall back once again.
-
If someone decides they want to go on a low-turn m!@#$%^&* attack spree with Levis this could become really fun =D
-
Falconia's attacks against Davantis are completely successful. Falconia's troops struck just as Davantis` gold is being counted, and Falconia leaves Davantis after plundering them for a measely 1,900,000 gold, but, more importantly, killing 459 of their troops.
-
Falconia is aware of the attacks made against ally Keiver, and, deciding to ignore Keiver's recent attacks against Falconia, decides to come to Keiver's aid. Falconian soldiers prepare to march into Davantis. Among these plans, the leaders of Falconia contemplate toning down their aggressive nature and craving for expansion and allowing themselves to drop several ranks, so that their economy can be strengthened as much as their militaries. These plans are still pending, and will of course have to be approved by the Falconian leader, Falcoknight.

What a !@#$%^&*ing waste of money.
-
Less compe!@#$%^&*ion ^^ I probably could have gotten back to first by now, or more likely at least held on to second, but in the last four days I've only been able to get on once or twice with ~14-24 gaps in between, so Ail has been farming my !@#$%^&* Got my defense back into first by what I *hope* is a massive margin, so maybe that will slow Ail and Shock's constant raping of my money. And my UP is tres sexy, though not overly beneficial yet >_>
-
Yeah, nice try when you attempted attacking me. Your troops inflict 112,167,717 damage on the enemy! The enemy sustains 1 casualties! attraction forces attack and inflict 89,798,707 damage on your army! Your army sustains 14 casualties! 14 Untrained Mercenaries was killed in battle You defeated the enemy!

After Falconia swiftly and successfully invades Ailestan, robbing them of millions, raping their women, and burning their homes, they stop by several other provinces on their journey home for some more small looting and pillaging. Unfortunately, once home, they were caught off guard by a surprisingly powerful revenge attack by the forces of Ailestan. While the monetary losses were minimal, Falconia's reckless pursuit of the Ailestan forces resulted in the loss of 21 troops, while only killing four of the Ailestan s!@#$%^&*bags. Overall a successful night for Falconia, with getting a small bit of money fit for maintaining #1 in all ranks (Except attack.. The crazy radical Ailestan suicide bombers have secured that rank) and very few casualties over all. Ailestan, Synook and Holes have all become major targets of Falconia.
-
/me wonders if many people are banking all their crap right now for whatever reason, as it is the only thing that would explain to me the ludicrously massive gap between my own stats and Synooks (Who is in third place)
-
*Falcoknight adds everyone in n1 to Falconia's hit list for when the attacks begin*
-
I think Ani is right. I've noticed no change since I became Attractions commander or whatever. Click recruitment thing would be nice if I didn't think someone would ruin it for everyone else by trying to exploit it.
-
In Falconia, President Falcoknight stands tall and strong, maintaining his #1 spot just long enough to give his fellow Penises hope and point them in the right direction before finally falling and resting.
-
It seems to me that buying the L1 gun is the only logical thing to do... You get more for your money, and as your UP goes up and up you won't have to worry about not having enough troops for all of them for quite some time. Or am I just underestimating how quickly we will acquire the money to buy more weapons than we have soldiers?
-
Jew president FTW.

Okay good.. So I wasn't hallucinating then.. Cuz I saw it say 4m, then I clicked training again and it was back down. Thought I was going crazy.
