  1. LoL. So....about the black out....it sure was, uh, black. You can't say it was black, that's racist it was African Brittain over there Well then, they should've called it an African-Brittain-Out.
  2. LoL. So....about the black out....it sure was, uh, black.
  3. Cause it would be illegal to name it subspace.
  4. talk to a billing op...
  5. wow the video is sweet. any idea on a release date? =) madhaha the nightwasp is there...
  6. Its fast now...must've been some severe traffic on tripod when I first tried.
  7. Agreed. Good concept, bad program.
  8. Geez that site is freaking slow millennium.
  9. If you are using anything other than XP, try restarting your computer. I found that memory leaks in windows 98 can cause C2S lag if you havent restarted the computer within the past day (even if you have low ping and 0 packetloss)
  10. Someone is probably using the name because it got removed for inactivity a long time ago.
  11. If I figured out how to read the binary data of a .lvl file I could probably make a LVZ map editor in java. But it would probably only do lvz, and not really any map editing, cause I dont quite have the time for that...
  12. Correct me if im wrong, but isnt this what metal gear does?
  13. Hmmm.... seems that if I place my laptop close to the wireless access point to get a signal strength of 100%, this problem disappears. I'm still confused since I could ping SSCU's server for a long time without loosing one packet, yet would still get high packetloss in the game :? Maybe the packets are rather slow, and continuum has a shorter time period before it identifies packets as "lost" compared to command prompt...?? But I still have an avg ping of 60.... Thanks for the help.
  14. ...Are you sure? I myself, and the rest of star warzone have played many hours on that particular map and never seen anything like it. Dont think its something wrong with the map.
  15. Still, since it blocked bullets on his screen, it could be abused..? Like if someone figured out how to repeat the bug whenever they wanted. Also notice that the walls showed up as walls on his radar.

  17. Well, all the big zones have it, so it might be an issue with that chat client.
  18. Any idea if it will be in the next release? I heard that tile angularity was going to be in 0.38, but I guess it wasnt finished...?
  19. Every zone has a ?help command. Just typing ?help wont do anything, but try ?help message. Its used to talk to moderators just like ?cheater. For example if you type ?help HOW TO USE TEH MISSLEZ it will say "message sent to online moderators" and a mod will pm you back shortly (if one is on).
  20. Did you have that "force higher resolutions" hack for the subspace client?
  21. I can ping zones for 100 cycles and get 0% packetloss, but when I enter a zone, I get S2C packetloss around 30%. I just replaced the motherboard on this computer, and before I did that, I didnt have any problems, however, the last time I used this computer before replacing the motherboard was over 2 months ago, so it could have to do with something else. The computer connects wirelessly to a router that is connected to a cable modem. Other computers that are hard-wired to that router do not have this problem. edit: I also seem to be getting around -10% c2s packetloss.
  22. Go to the view menu, and click on advanced options. If "avoid page flipping" is enabled, disable it. If it is disabled, enable it. That should fix it...I had the same problem once.
  23. Just to note....adding lots of wormholes to a map (more than a few) can generate some massive lag.
