The server response to ?arena is a special packet, not text. Ekted can't do anything before Priitk allows him to access that info. In other words. Ekted can't do anything.

He said tax cuts in hope of stimulating the economy. There was arguably good reason behind it. Congress agreed with him. If the economy gets even worse than it was before, and he tries to have tax cuts again, I doubt Congress would let it pass

Whether he promises it or not, the president cannot just simply say "free cookies for everyone" and poof, its done....keep in mind that there are 538 congressmen that would have to agree with the president by at least a 2/3 vote. It is already difficult enough for relatively legit bills to be passed, so something that would clearly hurt the country wouldn't have a chance of passing at all. And if someone were to run for congress or president and promise "free cookies", then if their opponent wasn't an idiot he would ask them where those free cookies would come from and how are they not going to hurt the economy, and he better have a good response to that or people aren't going to go for it.

Decoys are right next to completely useless. It's too easy to tell if a decoy is fake. Weapons go through them, they dont lose speed when they bounce off walls, and their radius is only one pixel. Why not make decoys a little more convincing by giving them a normal ship radius, have them lose speed like a normal ship when they hit a wall, and maybe even have the server option to enable them to absorb weapons?

The United States has a system of checks and balances between the three branches of government. The executive branch (the president) has the power to veto whatever gets passed by the legislative branch (Congress-the democracy) while the judicial branch (the Supreme Court) also has the power to declare laws as uncons!@#$%^&*utional, and throw them out. As you can see, it would be nearly impossible for the citizens to simply "vote themselves largesse from the public treasury." This form of government has been in place for 222 years, and I doubt it will fall anytime in the near future.

Check for viruses with the latest updates.

I've run cont. on a mac using an emulator...the game itself runs fine but the time sync is horrible which makes you lag like crazy and really piss off mods. I was using ConnectX with windows 98SE.

Tell them you suspect a problem with a router and ask them to trace the connection to your computer and/or give you another route.

Theres always the radio.....

Call up your isp, they can trace your computer from their servers, and help you from there. If you dont wanna call or dont know how, visit your ISP's website and see if they have live help chat. I know comcast does, and I've found it to be very helpful in the past.

I think only mods can create new public arenas. Not sure though.

The "tons of popups" are probably from adware that came from the site, and that might be related to your problem. Download and run both ad-aware and spy bot. Look for them on google.

Why didnt they make the built in windows firewall actually worth something, so things like blaster would never happen in the first place =

Theres probably a problem with a router somewhere along the way, just wait a few days.

If you have windows xp there is an option somewhere that you can enable to prevent applications from stealing focus.

I am currently working on another project (getting $$ for it too ) but afterwards I may be able to help. Give me a couple weeks.

Its probably due to something called integer wrapping (i think thats what its called). Thats when a number exceeds the highest amount it can be represented as in memory and it jumps to the lowest possible value that can be stored in memory (a very low negative number) and continues to increase from there. Only advice I have for you is to not play in a newbie super zone that gives out a million points per kill and a billion points per jackpot =P

Windows XP (and maybe other windows versions) has one built in. Start>Control Panel>Network Connections...right click on the connection you are using, click properties, go to the advanced tab, and check the box. You probably should configure the settings to suit you, so just click the settings button.

You could do it with a bot....sorta
