I played it a few weeks back, its horribly compared to what it was , or what I remember what it used to be like. Some of the old maps got the chop, that new spacebattlemap is horrible and sssssslow, and the gravball is gone to be replaced by a different gravball event every week or so, whats with that? :S Also the population of Infantry has been slated in half and then some ot what it used to be. The really big zone place (forgot its name) used to get 1000 people on there. Now it hits 300 max.

Uh... heard of it but thats about it. Aint played it or tried to, probably isnt worth my time, especially if you gotta pay :/

I have never played MU or Gunbound lol but I cant be bothered to get it cause it takes ages to load on my comp so stuff it. And Infatry aint as good as it used to be reload. Everything seems sucky now compared to continuum. I dont, prehaps its me, but Sony have killed Infantry :/

Yah i'm with Omega. I cant play until later on in the night on fridays coz of work and that will restrict me unless its alot longer.

I aint bashing vile, vile is one of the many Gods of 17th Nah Vile has always done something to the zone, that I have never questioned while others I felt never have done something to the zone.

Gunbound = Sucks MU = Sucks Planetside = You gotta pay so it sucks That other game that don1 and spaceballz now play =Sucks with worse graphics than SS and you gotta pay Infantry = Now sucks -*BAD WORD*- since they have killed it with everything they have done nowadays. And Friendly fire! Dam I miss ya man, where ya been, come back to 17th so I can spek to you! <3 I'm looking forward to Warhammer Online. Looks set to be big with nice graphics and low subcription costs. I'm keeping to SS though for now cause there isnt any other game out there which is good. I compare every online game which you get off the net to continuum and find that they all suck to the great SS game. Shows something dont it? heh

Well prehaps keeping KotH will draw a few more peeps together, bcoz I understand you dont want to fully base the game on killing, but along the way 17th like other zones has always possessed the want to just kill at times. And maybe i'm wrong about the lanc, but after playing both of them for a long while, I have always found the multifire a big benefit and losing it might cause some stir, i'm not sure, but it seems a !@#$%^&*et, because other wise its not worth having guns on it, bcause the other ones are so dam weak as slow single shots its a waste of time :/

I think you should keep KOTH personally, gives people some sort of importance and points other than flags. You gotta have some sort of killing in 17th. Also the multifire is brilliant if you use it properly. I cant say you have a good view on it Zion unless you really try it. It gives good reteart against javs and other fighters, provides nice killing against levis and stuff in enclosed areas and means you can cover passages with more than just bombs when low on energy. Also it doesnt improve aim, some might say it lowers it bcause of the spread, but it helps in my opinion.

the jav in duel is sorted and if there is no difference between multi and not then do they not do they same damage or does multi do more damage?

oh me!!! What if a jav has multi fire on and the other has it off, is there any full difference in the recharge and cost rate? Coz I cant see that much of a difference :/

Yeah its sounding more and more better as you delve into it more Zio(N) keep it up I like the ideaor another fighter like craft, gives people something else to worry about without the invicibility of the current weasel lol. Thats always been the problem with 17th, what the weasel will be, and as long as you get the right amount of settings on it, you might of just cracked this 3 year puzzle! The map i'm unsure of, its good but seems big for a event, while in a pub play it would be fine for the later times in pub, but too big again for the non popular times. How about looking over ?go nbvpub (i believe its called that, ask Tempest= or Lovewar for the correct name if I got it wrong) which is a brilliant map (if its the correct one i'm thinking of lol) which all sorts of tunnels and mazes and stuff, nice and fiddly ^_^ One more thing, I would say keep the thrust on the lancaster, its what gets me out of trouble most of the time by thrusting around a corner or something similar to avoid pain. But bring the multi spread into it coz I believe it really does need it. They arent strong but they scare off the majority of the attackers for a little while and provide a good retreat option.

I'm better Vile is going to say they are the same because in my opinion There is no bloody difference! lol A javelin in 17th is a Javelin! Its that simple. Its Yellow, it fires alot of bullets, it has red bombs, it sucks -*BAD WORD*- coz its lame I cant see any difference in any of them bar the fact I cant use em, so if they are each different that means I cant use 4 different versions of jav???? even I would be able to use 1 of the 4, so they gotta be all the same, and from me playing around with them they are.

Ah, Smells like 17th. Can I say a few things, but just ignore me cause i'm predjudice ^_^ Lancaster and its 1 bullet stream. Yeah its ok but I love the spread cause it actually makes it effective. There isnt much point in having it otherwise coz well... 1 bullet streams suck -*BAD WORD*- when equipped to a lanc. Levi... hmm..... I like it but it always needed something to me, the minute increase in recharge or something. Terr now only has 3 (I thought it only ever did have) but according from the halloween special it had 8! or even 9 someone said!!!! I mean wtf lol. Let it only hav 6 mines, 8 is a bit... overkill for a jeep, thats something I always wanted to say about the old settings. Well thats my bit, very well done zion, hope it happens cause it made me stay in 17th. Just some suggestions for minute tweaks (btw, i like the weasel idea but the old weasel still rocked shame so many peeps complained heh)

That to me makes a WHOLE lot more sense than Blue Silvers entire input, and makes sense although should it be labeled a moderator then? Thats like me working in my co op. I'm a reciepient, a small guy compared to my superviser, but coming form my Infantry Experiance as a minor staffer there, mods did a -*BAD WORD*- of alot more than in 17th. And Blue what you stated was in my opinion -*BAD WORD*-. It means your hiring people to do -*BAD WORD*- all! Only 4 of the ER's are doing a good job? Well get the others doing stuff otherwise its a waste of time. Got 9 mods which are only there because in 17th they are only people proven to be good ER's, then why the -*BAD WORD*- are they mods? Get rid of the crappy Er's, drop the majority of mods to ER's and theres your problem done and dusted. -*BAD WORD*- if zones like TW can make those things work they must be doing something right! And the more I see pern type things i'm against, the less I see of her as a able staffer, sorry but its true. When I was a niave newb alot of people, especially pern seemed to be doing a bloody good job yet now I understand it better it seems not!

Thats not true mad,we just dont fire ppl cause they arent liked wich is something that happens rarely anyway. And if thats also true im surpriced your lasted as long as you did evn tho you where a completly incompetant person who was abusive aswell. Mods are suposed to host aswell,look after pub answer ?help ?cheater etc help with leagues by hosting or help cord them. ER>`s are hosters but not the only hosters. The reason you was fired 000 was something we already talked about many times but it never changed pernille Liez, all liez dammit You hardly come onto the forums to speak pernille so 'voicing your opinion' doesnt seem as strong to me as those like mad or zion who post alot of good and well implemented thoughts. The main point of a ER is to host events that being in there name EVENT Referee, so who cares if a mod doesnt host many, thats what we have the ER's for, and considering there is about 10-15 and one almost always on, the mods shouldnt have to ALL the time which is what your partially suggesting :/

Sorry but thats bollocks kent lol. I dont belive ALL staff shoudl host all the time. Thats the whole point of the ER's and by dam we have a bloody large amount of time. 000 Handeled alot of the ?cheater and ?help commands and would get people to host events. So he didnt host alot of events, who cares, he made life alot more easier for players. How can he be a staff for a year and a half and suddenly be crap and get kicked off? I belive that pern just bnooted him to off to have another join, and ive noticed a few new people I have never even seen in the zone before suddenly become mods?! -*BAD WORD*- I know one who doesnt play 17th full stop yet he is a moderator here lmao. Hows that work hmm? Alot of good staff people are being kicked or having to retire from the job cause of unappropriate actions by the high people. My advice? Kick off pern and get some one else in. -*BAD WORD*- it cant hurt the zone anymore.

Mike, the only reason I dont blame or point out certain members is because I do not feel it should be done, after all is it not a staffpersons word against mine? even with logs, people can 'edit' them :/ And the staff SHOULD be a whole, and watching to make sure no one is doing anythig wrong, yet the day when I made this descision 8! yes 8! staff people sat there and did -*BAD WORD*- all about it (sorry for bad language). It went on for about 20 minutes before the problems turned into priv messages. Well i'm going to say no more about it, these things happen, obviously alot more than what I once thought but I have chosen my decision with knowledge that I can not stay in this zone while the way staff people act at this moment in time. The zone has improved so much over to be put down by those who are supposed to make it better! And 000, at the moment I dont see a chance in -*BAD WORD*- of you getting me back in 17th at the moment but keep tyring Also check ?squadowner Elemental? its gone heh. Just for you bud

I get angry at the zone times yeah, but thats me but what showed on my last day with the last game of speedball revealed to me alot of the really good staff people who turned up to play and say bye. And 000, just for you i'll dissolve Elemental? Sorry for annoying you man, only a bit of fun. Cya guys in some other zone until I get bored of them all, hopefulyl by then the staffers will have gotten better

Hey guys, Roach here. Basically, i'm fed up heh. I'm not going to say anything about it, I would rather I didnt to keep some sort of honour in this zone (if there is any left) but i'm fed up of the way I'm getting treated by you 'higher powers'. So basically i'm taking some of your advice and gtfo. I might come back one day, prehaps when there is a major change in the overall at!@#$%^&*ude and removal of some staffers. Alot of you guys have been great, some have been -*BAD WORD*-s, many might say just ignore them or whatever but then it niggles in my mind that they are there, and in my eyes abusing their position. I might drop into the zone to say hi to a few friends, and will stay on the 17th forum but thats about it. Hmm... truthfully I cant say I remember 000 hosting alot of events but thenagain I never was on much to see him cause of the time difference but also he was a mod correct? So isnt it my understanding that ER's namly being a EVENT Referee host events and generally not the mods? Ok so they should host some but not loads, while our ER's do basically bugger all. I think there are only 2/3 ER's who do ACTUALLY host while i'm around. Maverick and Cokey Flo to me being the best 2 ER's to host events period. The others just... dont... I'm sorry if i'm going to flame Greeno a bit coz he is a good friend but for instance i have never seen him host a event : / The whole point of a mod is to moderate the zone and the Er's and from what I saw 000 did that. He answered all my ?help and ?cheater commands, he talked to people and wasnt afk most the bloody time! Unlike certain other HIGHER staffers who do bugger all to speak but sit there for no reason *cough* pern *cough* Now ive had my say, truthfully I cant defend much for 000 cause I wasnt around when he is around, but from when I was he did a good job. -Röach
