You know, its only just clicked in my head exactly what Bran, and others have been trying to say... and well... what can I say? I actually think he is right.. All this time I have complained about multiship combat, yet bran has put a very good point forward. Prehaps 17th was never ment to have multi ship leagues? Sure it can have multi ship events, they affect no one, they are a bit of fun, bt leagues? well... just maybe Bran is completly right? What would happen if we switched back to old 17th ship settings? what if we brought out a few more jav based events (of course have 1 or 2 different events like fishies or something similarly stupid ^_^ ) Lets change the map, introduce back our old settings, ignore those whinning noobs casue it will only be lie beofore but with less complaining, and play some decent pub! I'm not siding on Brans side here, I still obtain my views of multi ship diversity, but this point of view is quite rightly backed up with strong support. I dunno, maybe Bran is a genious and clicked the right buttons in my mind?

Without turning this into the whole ER situation i'm going to just defend my case then let it be done 1) naed has used up his 150 hours he gets every monthwith BT first of all. Thats why you havnt seen him in a week. He devoted most of his hours to continuum. 2) Kentai is a complete newb. I mean he screwed up a game of speedball. He is useless, everyone who has seen him host feels the same (as far as I know and have seen/been told)but no one has the heart ! He has even admitted leaving when he does something wrong so others have to cover the event instead! 3) Ive had a stupid amount of lag, exams, and homework suddenly appear in front of me, and I see that as more important than a game sortry. If i'm not on 24/7 to host a few games then so be it, but dont forget i'm taking time out of my schedual to host for people to enjoy. I enjoy hosting for people, I like to hold fun events, which is why I host alot of WWL, Speedball, Race, and other events, which are usually ignored by many of the staffers because they dont want to host them because they dont like them. Take mauruauders WWL for instance. I know a ton of people who hate it, and YES, some people refuse to host it in staff! but I cant see why so I willingly host for the players. 4) Finally, I DO play other games online, TAO is a big game I play also at the moment because it doesnt affect my lag, and you and others play other games to, so you cant say you lay alot of the time around continuum. Please think about what you say about people who host events, and look at who in the ER position who actually do host events, and rather who hosts varied, fun, and wanted games without screwing them up. Cause I know very few who I have seen host events, let alone ones that run almost perfectly smoothly.

Yay! ntfx Someone has finally realised then! Well naedhaha also hosts, but he doesnt have that special sort of enjoyment of it. He doesnt have fun when he's doing, he just lays out boring basic messages. Gotta be quirky when you host ^.- I think we have 6 -7 ER's overall and only I and naed ever host out of them O.o' There seems to be more mods than ER's are also lol, and they host alot so really they are doing the job of the ER

Thats because we are ten times smaller than themso it looks more like we have good quality people.

Problem: You change the spider and shark settings around, and you will probably get alot of negative feedback. It will be extra complaints ALL over again ^_^ unless its just for league, but then people might complain its not a pub league then, and they arent the actual ships from public and Aileron, uh, ok lol Although no doubt you have beaten most people who consider themelves veterans. Most of our veterans have left the zone, and those let I would say are on the verge of leaving. Its a shame This zone has lost alot of skill it once had, and alot of skillful players.

The only staff who know what they are doing are the ER's ^_^

I would like different events which arent based fully on javelin yes. I would like a new pub map I would like better ship settings I would like this zone to concentrate on basing as such, prehaps not fully around balling, prehaps CTF/X? Something to seperate us like once before, to make this zone unique again. Will we get it? Not a chance

Owned $$$ And Cencil, you are one of the reasons why I like proper veterans who speak the truth. I wouldnt class myself as a big time vet, I like to feel I know something about this zone, especially when it ws better in hte olden days ~Bliss~ but unfortunatly things have changed for the worse. Its people like you who are keeping this zone with the memories and prehaps hopes that it will return to its former self or something similar which we will like once again. Until then, keep on hoping -Roach (And who's that Aileron guy who keeps popping in with that stupid anime avatar O.o')

Sounds good idea, but you will also notice people using repel to send people into groups of mines and unless its a strong repel it wont work

I gotta agree with Sever on his post here met, he puts a very strong case forward, that being, MSBL wasnt as good as it could of been, prehaps if we had older settings or another tweaking to them for the league but that shouldnt happen. A league shouldnt need to change its ships, they should be the same because no one can complain then. Its said over and over again, yet its the main point, its the main problem. The ship settings NEED to be sorted,. Whether they go back to the old settings or are changed to more balanced BUT at the same time unique settings of the future, and our old 17th settings are a perfect example of that. If a upper staffer who controlled the ship settings (if that be Vile then he should in my opinion) got off his high horse and did something to the ship settins, then I would not complain as much, but something needs to be done upon that point. Which brings me onto my final point. Someone, change the weasel lol. I really couldnt need much problem with the old weasel but it seems a few people complained and the whole settings are changed! Yet the new weasel isnt as good as the old weasel either. It has too much of a speed incrase that in canbe unkillable, but makes alot of ships defenceless to the fact you cant get away from them, as well as its other 'tweaks' to this little ship. Put in the weasel from 2v2, be much more fun :-) Plus it would then gain its role back as anti-javelin, and be more equal against other ships, and need a little more brainpower to use O.o Oh well thats it Nightz -Röach

Doesnt suprise me. I would like 17th but meh, Zeke changed it, he didnt change it back, no one is doing anything REALLY productive to the main pub its self, just adding or taking minor things like glowing walls or fancy buttons. Shame that doesnt really help. Oh we wanted some good things about 17t?....... I'll come back to you on that one

People like to change ships, yes, but if they switch to a ship then back to their previous within a few seconds, well I think they are going for the prizes and nothing else hmm? The bit that makes me laugh is this! How do I sum this up? Yes! You follow the rules of the zone or suffer the consequences that are dealt to you, and if you cant see well, i'm sure you can think of some certain words for it. Now you say about the excuses, what sort of little sister is going to press esc and then the correct number to switch you back and fore, I know fully well that kids dont just press the buttons if your playing a game, and not anything that can affect game play. If you quit, the person chasing you will report you for it, and we will then watch you until you try it again. And bad internet connection or lag? Well we have powers, we only gotta spec you and we see your lag, and can check your ?lag also to get all details like current, high, low, average, Ploss and WLag There are only a very few excuses you can use a FEW times before we start to suspect things, and if you see no wrong in doing it, then you are just getting yourself a possible target of being watched for your antics I am a lower member of staff, I have to especially, like everyone else who should, obey the rules to a point, but switching ships for extra specials is cheating, and cheating is bad. You are using a unfair advantage to gain extra specials against others who do not wish to cheat on such a game. I dont need to say anything else about this. My point is summed up in your first post, and if you cant under stand why the rule is there, and that you see no wrong in breaking it, then in the words of a popular movie on Newgrounds. Gprime your message has just summed you up as a idiot. Do you even NEED to think of why its bad? Its pretty obvious why ship changing for prizes is bad. You want to gain your prizes back, go kamikaze yourself, but switching not only is bad sportsmanshi, regains your prizes even though you used these special things, but if someone else is chasing you and you switch to avoid death or damage then you are breaking a second rule. You have just targetted yourself as someone we must watch if your willing to cheat and can see no wrong doing in it. Go figure the reason why the rules are put there in the first place!

The shark hasnt changed at all, thats why its still good Levi has in a way became stronger but still dies horribly because of the m!@#$%^&* of fighter designed ships around Switch the dam weasel for the 2v2 weasel until we get a better weasel. At least the 2v2 weasel is a anti-fighter who actually has a weakness against bombers. The newbies should adapt to the zone, not the otherway round. Let them suffer, they will come, go and flood the zone still. Upper staff, listen to your veterans! They have some of the best knolwedge around, thats why they are the Veterans, old timers and pro's of the zone.
