I definitely only just opened this topic to write that exact comment.

Here's me not caring because he threw a tantrum and left the show.

Good Luck Ail. I hope you find whatever it is you're searching for.

Divorce exists because people want the choice to be able to leave a relationship with legal and emotional impunity. This doesn't mean that it's legal because lawyers want to make more money. It's legal because there are more people supporting it than there aren't. It's the same reasoning behind why clowns can still own guns and why in some states, shooting two people after telling someone you're going to do it isn't blatant murder

A lot of us don't believe Obama has the experience because theory and book related experience isn't as applicable as real life experience. You have to realize when people make the comparison they are comparing him to Clinton or McCain; both of which have far superior political experience. Is he lacking in any experience at all? No, he just doesn't have the most and it obviously shows. Experience counts for a lot whether you or I really care to examine it in such a way.

Mis-defined word, my mistake.

Sever nailed my family growing up. Typical father bail out and while my mother was great, working 2 jobs to support my younger brother and I, she wasn't nearly home as much as we could have needed her. I'd see her maybe 10 hours a week. If it weren't for the fact we were born in a relatively middle class/lower class divide (instead of a hardcore ghetto), I don't think I would have made it. My brother would have because he's morally strong, but I'd have failed (and probably truly am failing right this moment). Kinda weird this topic is still going strong, I'd have thought most of us would have written off Vegita as a clear whackjob by now. Texas has been on my "please annex now" list for years already.

Not this re!@#$%^&*ed theory again. I agree with Ail. I don't even know where to place blame about the economy anymore.

Just looking at the pics, the house does need some decent work. If some of the changes can be aesthetics, you can push the whole remodeling thing for awhile. The entire house needs new siding. None of the pictures I see indicate it needs new windows, but it may be true. What's the condition of the roof? Those 2 things right there from a company can easily cost 14 grand to complete. 2-3 for the materials and the rest "labor". In reality, each job should take 3 days apiece. If you can get away with doing the work at a company quoted price, you can easily have reduced rent for multiple months. If the only reduction you get is from material costs and general hourly wages, it's a horrible deal and you'll regret signing a lease. Both bathrooms look like they can be retiled and the one tub can probably be pulled. You can do almost anything you want for the basement. Drop ceiling, painted floor, small bathroom/shower/toilet setup. I'd say you could live there for a minimum of a year practically rent free if you can use an inflated quotable price from a big name company for all of your changes. Otherwise, you're getting !@#$%^&*ed. The fact you can't do anything yourself basically signals me a red flag on this whole ordeal. Why even consider it?

The Resident Evil series has been multi-platform for years now. The fact is, these companies make more money cross platforming. Selling out? !@#$%^&* yes. What's the point in spending millions of dollars on a game and the game not making as much profit as possible.

Wow, I can't believe you even gave it a 2 man. It had to have been my worst pick ever.

I think the debate is more in line with people hitting you as opposed to randomly trying to do a wheelie and falling from your bike. That's where the seatbelt analogies come in.
-
No, I understood your point Bak. I'm just confused why we are talking about it. Maybe I'm confused because I come from a state that doesn't have a helmet law for motorcycles or bicycles and never thought about whatever it is you are asking.
-
This seems kind of a silly topic. Are they necessary? No. It doesn't prevent you from riding a bike. Is it more safe? yes. Isn't that kind of just a factual statement?
-
The only topic worth being in trash talk and it's not. I feel a tear coming.

No Rootbear. I think it's been basically covered that death was the only possible way to avoid this particular situation while the man was in the house admitting to the fact he was about to murder two men. Yea, it doesn't make any sense to me either. I'm not going on with it though. I literally think people saying this is ok is complete insanity. Bak, I do disagree with you about it being perfectly fine for a society to decide a law against a minority unjustifiably though. A majority deciding all persons named Jim should be thrown from a moving car doesn't mean we should respect insanity.

And this is why I think you have a few loose bolts. These guys weren't endangering the guy who shot them. He wasn't threatened in any way. He was on the phone telling someone he was going to shoot them. THAT IS PREMEDITATED HOMICIDE. MURDER. This guy needs the mental evaluation and you right alongside him. And in the context of children getting shot. Who's to say I couldn't be afraid of what a kid might have in his bag. If I feel threatened, couldn't I just pop them in the face? This guy was apparently justified in doing it because they could have had a concealed weapon.

Seriously, are you !@#$%^&*ing re!@#$%^&*ed Vegita or just dumb as bricks? The whole point wasn't about speeding at all. It was about breaking the law and someone punishing you for it despite anything you think should happen. !@#$%^&*, you know what? It doesn't even have to be you breaking the law. Let's hope your kids don't decide to go corn someones house on Halloween with a concealed bag and find a pumpkin ball in their head because they were in someones yard with what "could have been a dangerous weapon for the murderers family but probably wasn't because he was a stupid redneck." Actually.. I'm pretty much all for stupid people and anything they spawn dying so I'm going to agree with you, Vegita.
-
I don't even see why this is an issue. He should be jailed for murder. Shooting two people on a whim they would do him harm? That's total bull!@#$%^&* and everyone who is half sane should acknowledge it. Let's just shoot the next person that cuts through my yard. This isn't justifiable in any way, shape or form. No wonder this country can't make any social headway and evolve into something more than a war mongering conglomerate of disaster.

Dav, you can't make that judgment anymore than I can say they'll be great mothers. What they do have over other teenage mothers is the desire to be a parent. Sometimes, just the desire is good enough to raise even the most half !@#$%^&* kid.

Best story to hit the airwaves in awhile IMO. Caught Anderson Cooper earlier tonight and he was talking to a psychologist about how and why this could happen. Near the end of her analysis, he proposed the question whether or not school offering support for teenage mothers (they offer daycare service) was justifiable. On one hand, she said that schools should attempt to get these women diplomas to ease the suffering of career opportunity later in life but on the other hand; helpful services would not be a deterrent in future cases because teenage women would see the act of child bearing as a no consequence issue. That statement, although understandable is my pick for the stupidest thing said in media this week. Having a child should have no consequences at all in any situation if it can be helped and regardless of whether these women had an official pact at all shouldn't influence that. Is it true that children come at wrong times? Yes. There is no reason to punish people who make poor decisions in this manner by not giving some type of support if the district has the ability to. Best part of the entire ordeal? The school has a state granted funding problem and decided to cut available contraception with-in the school but they are entirely able to have a valid daycare program for its typical 4 students on average that become pregnant per year.
