There's absolutely no reason there should be a cut off or 'brackets' if it were for stat rape laws. I have always held an adamant position on this. I see absolutely no difference between a 15 year old and a 17 year old. Age should hold no significance when it comes to sex pairing as long as the people are with-in the same social scene. We have the laws to protect the young from adult manipulation, but if the majority of these couples are with-in the same circle of friends, it's less a matter of sexually deviant behavior than it is simply poor judgement.

I don't understand why people say "it's not meant to happen." If the ability is there, it's meant to happen. There's really no possible conclusion to this argument that doesn't touch upon religion. Regardless of any gene factors, precautionaries can be taken in any cloning situation to bypass abnormalities. On the point of religion, I'd like to know where from the bible it states "thou shalt not clone." For all anyone knows, God wants us to clone.

Why, when the forum doesn't get enough unique hits, is it necessary to further segregate posting topics. General discussion doesn't move fast enough to warrant unneeded subforums. I can return here in a day and the majority of the topics front page will still be here. You only need to split topics when things would be lost too fast.

He didn't say 95% of people lie to their doctors. And while it's probably not 95%, I would consider it a high percentage. How many people do you know that can walk into a doctors office and simply state "Oh, My gull bladder feels inflamed." They don't know that, hell.. Most people can't even tell where any of their organs are. That's where a computer analogy is lost. It has no methodology to determine a diagnosis where as a doctor can physically touch you to even determine the generic basis of a claim.

It will come down to doing state by state legalization until there's enough presence until it's nationally mandated. Just like everything else in history. While it's true that Christianity (the main drive behind anti-gay thesis) is on the incline; the margin of what people choose to believe and follow is growing also. More and more Christians everyday choose to overlook homosexuality. Does that mean I'll see it in my lifetime? Eh, probably not. I really hope this is the beginning of a new generation of liberals. With the increase of minority population and the realization that some of the most well off countries have large socialism tendancies, it would be nice to see actual change in my lifetime. If I could see guns disappear and universal health care before I die, I think I would have a pretty positive outlook for our children.

What I really want to know is, who on the republican side actually supports this? You've spent the last year putting Clinton down as some radical nut case feminist who couldn't possibly lead a nation and now you have a woman half the age of the GOP who could kick at any moment; and she has what experience exactly? Governing a state with the population of any major city and pushing some papers around? I just need a republican to explain to me why this isn't political suicide.
