Perhaps more terrible than the past decade would be more appropriate, or the average standards of our own country.

Today, 4 children were killed among others of a militant stronghold in Falujah. Yep, and the shooting 10 blocks from here took 3. I guess they one up me. Life sucks, and people die everyday. You raise the quality and length of natural life and move on. It's just too silly to believe we can help someone else before we fix our own problems. The upper and middle class may not realize it, but down here on the bottom is terrible. What's done is done, and Bush did well enough.... let's just pull out of there and let new leaders take action and fix things here now.... I was comparing my recent surgery bill with that of a friends 5 years ago. (Same area, social class, general income..etc) I paid 2.5* what he did for the same operation. Malpractice is to blame for a good part, along with the lack of public care... But -*BAD WORD*- is everything out of whack.

... I voiced no concerns or issues with the resposibility of the government IN MY POST. I would suggest being open minded about my words instead of trying to pin me in some corner so that you may feel better about yourself. Of course there is money in other places, but it is promised to those other places. You can't grab someone else's french fries when yours are all gone. We have come close to the max alotted towards our area for this purpose; a max that is far lower than any previous year because of national budget concerns. Will we get the appropriate funding someday? yes, but we shouldn't be required to wait when lives have been taken. It's voiced and being dealt with by the people. After increased medical costs, land taxes and other small ac-*BAD WORD*-ulative taxes, we shouldn't have to hold fund raisers and fix it ourselves. Not at least when those sworn to help should be doing so in a realistic way. How hard is it to realize that we should not be over in Iraq. Why do people insist that we are better, and due to that.. must fix others' problems. What the -*BAD WORD*- are we hoping to do? Take out a specific man that will crush terrorism forever? Not going to happen. Quit living in a diseased fantasy world where imperialism and "World Peace" are your unattainable dreams.

I voiced no concerns or issues with resposibility. A shortage of cash is just that, no matter where it is. If that shortage is in the Fed Government, it effects us states; whether directly or indirectly. As for taking a stance and what not, what world are you living in mate? No money means no money. It's pe!@#$%^&*ioned, It's dealt with.. Toss a few bucks in a hat and hope it reaches a few grand so we can fix it ourselves.
-
I agree, it is way worse than the innocent drivers around here being crushed by rocks on a local road because the state won't cough up a few grand to fix a landslide issue due to budget shortages. But so long as we spend money on missles to prevent an undetermined attack we could possibly never recieve again one day, and fight a battle where you can have no winner.. Apparently we are choosing wisely. Sounds like a bunch of -*BAD WORD*-ing horse-*BAD WORD*- to me.

But you didn't state welfare abusers
-
In the case of general applicants of welfare, they can't work in the first place
-
The majority of those welfare using mother -*BAD WORD*-ers need it.

Apathy is just another side to discussion you have yet to accept. The only to actively reply was that of someone you named which you chose to currently dismiss and instead focus attention on me. Most others have only looked at the thread to read the now silly banters back and forth between us both. I made my political statement and chose to elaborate on key points of your post psychologically. You chose to tell us that apples are better suited than oranges, because oranges have rough skins and are acidic. But you have yet to say why the apple is superior. "Oh, you don't know why?" isn't a persuasive arguement. I called your post silly because of it. Live and let die.

Yeup.. Pretty up to date on his stances also. *looks again* Just as silly as Kerry's. Imagine that. Understood how seniority gives me no right. Wait... no, I don't. People who have a hard time distinguishing between fiction and reality don't need to vote. Too much emphasis on "being heard" when 1/2 the population should have little right to voice opinion. We don't need a teacher attempting to show us mistakes from his point of view. We don't need someone turning a discussion board into a flame session on his first post. Nor do we need stereotypes of any sorts that you threw down on the table on your first post. You expect to be listened to, conversed with in a fair manner and even acknowledged for your views, but you ruined any chance of credibility by acting stupid and telling everyone off.

My main concerns are over your post in general. So be it that some plans are flawed, I am just having a hard time recalling all the wonderful **NEW** fullproof plans that Bush is pushing onto the table that you neglected to mention. Both candidates are given too much credit for nothing. You created a topic with the intent to rant about a candidate 'generally', without even 10 points of interest. Reply to another topic already started with your opinion instead of making cookie cutter posts. The reasoning behind my first reply was simple enough. What is the point of you talking if all you wanted to do was make someone look bad. To further increase the public lack of care, you flamed foreign posters for little shown reason. It has always been my understanding that an outside perspective is needed in any arguement. This is not a trash talk board where you are encouraged to tell people off before they make themselves known. I felt it necessary to speak up about your rudeness in the manner I had. Oh well, no real harm done. On the other hand, you provided no new point of conversation either. If anything can be said on the topic, it would be this. "Soldiers out of Iraq will lead to decreased spending. Noting that decreased spending will make Kerry look good and like he actually did something. Killing the deficeit won't happen in the next 20 years, so that isn't a problem of his. Bush gets to have all the fun, Kerry gets to pretend like he is sweeping it up, and everyone is happy for the next 8 or so years until they realized nothing was changed." Reality

Happens to be very well suited towards your distasteful views that lack merit.

*Chuckle* You got lost in a rant barely suited for 2nd grade history. Was there to be a valid point anywhere among all that jibberish?
-
1) Liberal/Green 2) Poor social class. 3) Health. Everything in the world can be lost, but with sound mental and physical health, anyone can find natural enlightenment and happiness. Most other aspects are superficial.

So Boob jobs are taught in basic med 101 now? I was under the impression that it was part of a specialized field that required abit different training. Why can't the military doctors do the same exact -*BAD WORD*- that regular doctors do for experience. School and temp. I obviously am unable to see implants and gunshot wound in the same catagory. Seems like a big waste of time that they could be polishing other skills with. Let them -*BAD WORD*- around with special fields after they are done and quit wasting the goverments time.
-
Breast implants for soldiers, total waste. This is the needless spending that has to be cut in order for us to prosper.
-
I am starting to misunderstand the situation. A doctor isn't going to tear away from open heart surgery to put a bandaid on someone. (Hense the waiting in general) A doctor doesn't stand by the bed of an ill patient for all minutes of the day. So why is the run from medical exam room A less important than the run from file room B. He is going to be somewhere, and when something occurs with an overnight patient, a journey still must be made.

For my area, we have little to no option of getting care for injuries at night hours save the ER. I don't see why Mrs.NaturalSelectionAtWork can't get her paper cut treated until the 14 car accident victims arrive.
-
Touching briefly upon a psychological standpoint. There are quite a number of unstable minds in society; not to say that all are detrimental to other people, but just hold dimmed perspectives of reality for themselves. If the ER rejects a 50 year old woman for an injury that they find unsuitable and she does not, a few uncontrolled scenerio's may take place. Many would take it upon themselves for self medication and treatment, which is bad if not fatal in some cases. Certainly a sprained ankle is not death, but to someone with little understanding of medical problems (And there are quite a few) there would be little reason why she shouldn't go home and toss back a few of her husbands painkillers. Would that not create a few lawsuits in itself? I do realize the benefits to rejecting patients, but the ER will always need to be as it is so that people can be secure about the treatment they will recieve. Pain is often in the mind just as it is physically. When you hear from a doctors mouth that advil will work, it is extremely different than taking it on your own without his knowledge. Yea... I r liek pi

Iraq's WMD's.. was Bush not wrong afterall?
Ducky replied to Dr.Worthless's topic in General Discussion
Politics require a more serious peripheral view than most 'minor' things. I suppose that education in this field will do much better than say my own which is literature and the arts. Either way, acclaim is well desearved and often forgotten between the banters. -
