We tried it in the current base... 5 I think, where you can stick to the wall from the inside of the base, and shoot the thor diagonally. Does the shark have some basic bomb damage protection? With its small size, bombs would naturally do more damage, but I never seem to be able to do much damage with a bomb to a shark

Continuum's executable is "packed" using some kind of encryption that is commonly used on some trojans. While this makes cracking/hacking the exe much harder, it may trigger some false positives with some antivirus programs... I don't think I heard of other programs than Avast having trouble with Continuum though

To be honest I don't give a damn about sound quality of my headphones, cause I use them when listening to music downtown or in the subway, where you hear a whole lot of noise around anyway. How are they counterable via reps? The speed at which they travel and their proximity make it very nearly impossible to rep. Yeah... sometimes reps work fine, sometimes they don't. The timing can be really hard to get right, and sometimes depends on other factors like lag. I repelled some fast thors while standing still just fine, but sometimes even slow thors won't gtfo. Also much harder to repel with a larger ship (maybe impossible), since the prox is triggered with the side of your ship.

I think that's exactly what he meant... place anti-thor tiles all around the outside walls of the bases, making it impossible to just transwarp to a base, thor, and repeat. Thors would have to be launched from inside the base. Also, most flag rooms have 'holes' in their anti-thor tiles, the most obvious being b7, where people just thor from below the flag room straight up. This is confusing for some people (I heard a lot of 'this flag room is not thor-proof' because of this hole) and kind of defeats the purpose of having these tiles in the first place, imo.

He's not forcing the other zones to shut down their websites and forums... We need a somewhat "official" site where new players can find everything they need, but that doesn't mean other zone-specific or player fan sites can't exist. But as it is now, our game just cannot be perceived seriously because nothing is centralized. If someone asks you "What's the website of the game?", what do you tell him? "Well, some forums are here, some others are here, getcontinuum.com gets you some links, and emm..." Couple of years ago, we had subspace.net and sshq that worked fine as "official" site, now we don't have anything. GetContinuum.com is nice to download the game and get a few links to related sites, but that's about it. 0.02$

Dunno if you noticed, but it's pretty much impossible to tell when or why exactly Continuum doesn't run on some machines... I have an antivirus and it runs fine, some people had to uninstall their antivirus to get it to work, some others can't get it to work anyway.
