  2. I have no idea what's the difference between CSS and tables... But why are all designers so 'affraid' of using tables? If they work so easily with all browsers, why waste time with other things? Just looking for some knowledge here
  3. perhaps some changes in the registry
  4. And who takes care of http://www.getcontinuum.com/ ?
  5. yeah... seems like a very unstable connection, the min ping values are normal (quite low, too) ... What type of internet connection do you have? And do you use a wireless router?

  11. lolunge sounds kinda cool
  12. 4 > 2
  13. Alerisoin sure is a cool guy.
  14. I remember seeing some numbers about that... I know that super zones will use more bandwidth since there are more weapon packets sent around... The download is also proportionnal to the number of people in the arena. But subspace used to work on 14.4k modems, so it's pretty safe to assume that in a VIE-like zone, there is not more than 14kb per second going from and to the server. And 14kb = 1,75kB Are there any programs that can monitor accuratly the data flow? ... Well, in the task manager, there's a network tab, in which you can add data like the inbound data rate, outbound data rate, etc. You could probably make some tests with that
  15. i'm totally lollified
  16. civil war and hot dogs? sounds fun
  17. ...
  18. you dreamed of hot-dogs? wtf
  19. Are you searching for a squad that is still active? Or are you looking for the first person who ever used ?squadcreate ?
  20. MSPaint (I think this one has been posted here) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hxx2KcPWWZg For any Immortal or Lego fans... Hbx7ozU2RKkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hbx7ozU2RKk Another Immortal classic sz8NAnQeQiAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sz8NAnQeQiA
  21. Nope, still no graphics (except from what you see in the screenshot I posted in the first post) The settings are already done... the map and settings were made like 5 years ago The energy is used as fuel. Max energy is 1200 (120.0 Litres of fuel, which is the approximate capacity of a real F1 fuel tank) My maps use pit stops, so the energy is drained slowly, and recharge is almost null. Shift is used as a high gear; less thrust, more top speed. Rockets are used for nitrous bursts (yeah you gave me an idea there... maybe I should give more rockets that last shorter) For the speedometer, an analog gauge with a pointer would be nice, but I'd also like to have the digits under it, or inside of it. Real F1's have a digital display of their speed. A nice analog display could require alot of images though, else it will not be smooth. The windshield thing... nah... first, it can get complicated with all different resolutions... second... well limiting sight sucks and it would be kinda weird Here's some screenshots of stuff I found... Might give you ideas The kind of time data I'd like to keep track of... I don't know if I'll display them all though http://www.sgn.cc/racing/f1_2001/cameraview0.jpg Screenshot from Grand Prix 3... The driving wheel displays current lap (L), position (P), fuel (F), speed (183), current gear (6), and engine temperature (t) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/VirtuaIceMan/10_France/23_Grand_Prix_3.jpg
  22. http://www.subspacedownloads.com/index.php...=list&cat=5 In the pinned items in 'Editors' category thanks to TestTube wee SSDL only had DCME 1.2.67 until now :S
  23. ew... nice Yes it's the limitBut the developper should have some control on how the lvz files are built... You don't want to have everything in a single LVZ, else you get pissed off players whenever you update I disagree. Sound files, help files, or any other files are part of the development of an arena too. Image definitions are now added automatically with gfx files Didn't read the whole thing yet.. nice work though
  24. One time, I noticed someone installed Continuum on a computer at my university... I started it to check if there were any profiles loaded, but the name that was there did not even exist on the biller
  25. I think it can sometimes fix graphics problems... I don't remember why. If you don't have any problems, don't bother with that
