  2. char temp[20]; string test; test = "stuff"; strncpy(temp, (char*)stuff, stuff.len); I think this should work with merv
  3. what he said.
  4. lmao speaking of molewhack, isn't something supposed to happen today?
  5. What kind of freak/morons/fascists would onlyh allow US residents to sign up? ... There must be a reason... why??? someone link me their FAQ i'm too lazy and sleepy
  6. yeah, multiplying by 10 is such a hard task
  7. On other forums I go, I have a 'Meet people from all over the world... then kill them' signature, with a link to getcontinuum
  8. yeah... get a subversion program... tortoisesvn works well too the SVN program will download the whole thing for you from the 'repository' (http://ss-discretion.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ss-discretion/)
  9. like my voyage 200 too... I mean, I don't even have to care for unit conversions at ANY time... I just enter my equation like: solve(40 _m * 50 _lbf = x * 500 _ft, x) x = 58.37 _N plus I can see if I messed up if the wrong units come out
  10. ok I know 2 options: -send a letter envelooped filled with anthrax to CNN, from 'The Continuum Community' or -spread out some huge virus if we don't get media attention with that... I don't know what will. And that would get us players. Thousands of them. !@#$%^&* now the FBI is on me
  11. Are you saying they will put the scores site back up again?
  12. these things are only for rpg-based games... no physics whatsoever they suck too
  13. but only for gfx
  14. That's why he should try version .40 in trench wars... If it still happens in trench wars, then it has nothing to do with VIP because TW supports the .40 client for sure
  15. well it's not like if you'd wear a World of Warcraft tshirt, or a runescape tshirt... I mean.. people don't even know what subspace is... and if they do, they'd be like 'oh, cool, that thing is still around?'
  16. well, we could have a private section, I guess I added one, just to test But I'm guessing the file archives can be accessed by anyone because anyone can register... Though the Private archives forum should only be accessible by SSDev and Admin members
  17. ooooooooh, a subspace mug
  18. 7:ThunderJam> question 7:ThunderJam> is the file archive place that aqua set up 7:ThunderJam> is that supposed to be just for our references 7:ThunderJam> or is it supposed to be for public to view also? Good question, I'd think the public would be allowed use the files. Though we should add an announcment or something that says these files are free to use, as long as proper credit is given Definition of proper credit, anyone? Perhaps provide some kind of standard for that
  19. Or the registering form needs to warn the user that the only way to retrieve a lost password is by entering a valid e-mail
  20. well, at the moment, even if someone finds your password, he can steal your name, but only until you ?lostp!@#$%^&*word and get it back... If he could change the email, then you're doomed
  21. a wish i had a cube or a wii I always wanted to play metroid prime
  22. Get version .40, see if it still happens (try it in Trench Wars to be sure that the problem is not zone settings preventing other versions)
  23. google does all the conversions i need http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&saf...amp;q=29+c+to+f
  24. Split from the .40 topic since the bug is not related to that particular version... it's a graphical glitch that can occur from time to time, I even doubt it's really an issue with continuum, i've had similar problems with alot of different games... When you alt-tab and stuff, it sometimes screws up like that. And as you said, it's mostly a one-time thing...
