  1. Yes the whole LVZ thing was never really finished... Some people manage to use it fine, but I guess you have to work with it for a while to know how to work around the bugs and missing features :/
  2. Wow... just browsing internet is like 2x faster now
  3. Please avoid 4chan-speak in this particular subforum. Thank you. Especially when the post doesn't bring anything interesting to the topic...
  4. I saw an article yesterday that says you are gay Should I believe everything I read? Also, to get a number like 46%, that means they went up like 5 or 6 generations and checked everyone... So since black people used to live mostly in Africa and Middle-East, it makes sense that somewhere in his genealogy, there are some people of Arabic blood. ^^
  5. You can't set a birthdate before 1909 anywhere, as far as I know... except very specialised programs or website (genealogy-related perhaps) The number format usually used to represent dates/times "starts" in 1909. Too lazy to check it up, but I'm pretty sure about this.
  6. As (I think) I said before, we can't even install casino games for some reason... there's some missing file that we'd need to get ahold of
  7. This is why you hate Windows? why? My computer was still working very well... Far too long? I started reformatting at 9pm yesterday, at 10:30pm I was back online on Windows messenger Maybe took an hour or two to go through my files and backup what I needed; but most of this was already on my other par!@#$%^&*ion.
  8. I'm reformatting this beast... just for some cleaning up If you don't see me in a while, it didn't go well lol
  9. That wasn't his point at all... His point was, why would you compare two things of totally different units in the first place? (operations/second vs distance/second) Even worse is that one of the numbers is in MILES per second, which is a very ugly unit and should not be used for anything in the first place
  10. Hey Drake, if you're bored, write me something that could act as an answering machine via my fax modem... like these sucky demo programs that were popular back when 56k was the !@#$%^&*
  11. Of course, new technology isn't interesting at all and we should not discuss it before it is commercialised...
  12. I often get that too... I usually just log back in and repeat and it works... So being in spec would help avoid that problem?
  13. Actually, I think ellipses are disabled with large objects... because they would draw over themselves and it screwed up. Not really a 'bug', there would be bugs if it was enabled Rectangles are easy enough to fix, but ellipses... the whole thing would be quite harder to calculate, me thinks. Wormhole circles aren't very common, anyway
  14. You mean *putfile somefile.lvl right? And by 'does not work', what do you mean? What message do you get? Are you hosting your own server? If so, you don't need to use *putfile at all, you can just copy-paste the file to your server folder. Try to be more accurate when describing your problems... And I'm moving this to tech support To mods: We shall rename this topic when we know what the problem is =/
  15. After some tries and failures, we concluded: !@#$%^&* it. The wiki tag should be enough; for forum posts, images are already resized so they don,t stretch the screen, and we also have spoiler tags for huge images
  16. Yeah, but then you need to have some kind of html script that splits these two values... it's probably possible to include php code with some <?php tag or whatever, I don't know much about these things
  17. Cite extension added
  18. thing added (me and CRE> updated the code a bit, the above code is not exactly what we put up)
  19. Spoiler! --Click here to view--
  20. Honnestly, if I didn't remember where I was on the boat, I'd have trouble identifying myself
  21. a [thumbnail] tag could be useful I guess What if an image is , say, 400x200? If you use html to make it 150x150, will it really be resized to 150x150 and be distorted? Or will it resize to fit in a 150x150 frame, keeping the same ratio? What if you only only specify the 'width' parameter in the html tag? (or only the height) Does it resize by keeping the ratio? Please enlighten my poor HTML knowledge
  22. By public access, you guys mean anyone, even unregistered people, right? Cause as I said, current ssforum members can edit anything they want (as far as I know)
  23. Any ssforum member is allowed to edit the wiki The other 2 items make sense just checked for a resize tag... it seems IPB custom tags only allow one option ( [tag=option]{content}[/tag] )
  24. Lol, 4 am. root just looks for anything he can run and post on ssforums. Actually, root is posting like once a day now
  25. ...yes... and? Are you trying to explain the !@#$%^&*le, or pointing out that it makes no sense? These numbers aren't even close And miles per second are stupid anyway, it would be 300000km/s, or 300 000 000 m/s in international system
