  1. When I first saw this topic, I was going to suggest you use Ctrl+wheel to zoom in and out. I'm not sure what else does that, but something else I used did that... but Shift is fine. Either way, this topic makes me happy.
  2. I don't think Evil understands what's going on.... 8(
  3. LOL
  4. ...Win! ^_^ I'm so proud.
  5. o= I'm a flaming Redbeard, can I be involved as well? If not, I still make a good pirate.
  6. Hmm, I have a feeling I know what all the posts are going to look like... Buffy may post something useful, though.
  7. Eh? Who moved this? I don't quite consider it Trash Talk.
  8. For all of those that remember the last topic about Bounty Huntress's engagement, this is a follow up. After a series of strange events involving Deyna, Bounty, and myself, Bounty realized that Jen, the girl she was engaged to, agreed to get married for Bounty's benefit, not the other way around, like she originally thought. After a discussion about this with Jen, she found out she was right and decided to call off the wedding, because she didn't want Jen to do anything she didn't want to do just for Bounty's sake. Of course, they still plan to be together for life, just without the sacrament of marriage. She took it amazingly well, considering what happened, but I still wouldn't advise going and asking for details. She asked me to make this topic, and so, here it is. If you haven't seen her on Continuum recently, don't be surprised, I don't think she even has it installed at the moment. The entire thing of every zone she plays at either closing or going through vast changes kind of drove her away, I guess. But don't worry, she'll be back in HS at least a few times, I'll make sure of that. I'm not going to tell you many of the details of what happened because I'm not sure if she wants them known. In addition to that, I didn't play a huge part in the event. Which leaves me to wonder, what did I get out of it? Nothing, of course, everyone always ignores Kevin. Then again, Bounty did give me an e-hug. I guess that was worth it.
  9. First off... he most likely said mods because that encomp!@#$%^&*es mods, smods, sysops, etc all at once, and it was a pretty good idea that it was a decisions made by all the staff since Brain seems to usually leave everything up to the whole of the staff.... Second, what the heck does it matter? The point is people in authority did something, rogh got his point across fine. You people seem to act like you have to spend all your time knit-picking since you spent all your spare time on HS and now it's down. I mean, not even *I* would've corrected that. That's saying something. And I get the idea that Brain has his reasons for changing the sets/shutting HS down on some type of Macro.
  10. Oh, and... a bad internet connection/badly wired network would definitely stop a person from running SS, but it wouldn't stop someone from accessing forums. I could access forums fine at the High School, but I couldn't play SS until I changed part of the school's network. Although, I think I caused whatever problem they're having in metals now.... Half of their wires are bad anyway and need to be replaced. Maybe this prompted them to do it.
  11. Flaw...that IS the code. Positioning is the only thing that comes close to presenting a problem in a website that's restricted to XHTML/CSS. Which, I think are the best pages. Everyone loves to add useless scripts to their webpages/servers.... Especially Flash. All websites with Flash suck. But this makes me wonder...who made what little bit of the HS website there is? Someone used caps in tags, and that's a no-no....
  12. You know, I have several quotes with you in them. What with you being so great at starting strange conversations and all. Truthfully, I think SS is probably that much more peaceful with you gone. Doesn't mean some of us still won't miss you. Heh, for some, they won't know the difference...some of the people back on SS still can't tell the difference between us. You know, I really don't know what else to say... I guess I'll just see you around.
  13. Truthfully, almost everyone hates it, I don't see why something isn't done about it. Then again, most of the people I talked to hate the new sets also. I guess that's just the way things are run here.
  14. I don't think DustPuppy understands.
  15. This zone is now Super Ships with cash. Does anything else need to be said? Stupid settings, but 10X stupider to pop them in without testing them first publicly, like the beta arena. Luckily, it doesn't bother me, since I so rarely play.
  16. Hmm...I've had that problem a few times, but never on a regular basis.... Whenever it's happened to me, it's been because Continuum thinks I'm pressing down a button that I'm not, like shift. So, what I do, is hit both CTRL, Alt, shift buttons, esc, all the directions and about everything else to make sure it isn't locked. That probably isn't your problem, but at least it might help someone else that comes on here.
  17. Haha, that was great. Every one make fun of D1 for being facetious. Have you guys never heard of sarcasm? I mean, these are HS boards, of all places. But sadly, no new quotes for my sig from this conversation. -.-
  18. Such help.
  19. Ugh, complaining again? I don't flag, so I never get on the good flagging freqs. If I get on a good balling freq, it's because it's a public one. I still manage to max ships. I'm halfway there with my WB after only a few hours on HS. Sure, it's easier if you know people and get on the good freqs, but you can't complain about it because if you can't get the cash it's still skill related. I certainly don't have any problem. As the matter of fact, last round, before I ever bought a ship I had over 700K by 1 btying with a WB. Getting money is fairly easy, and while taking on the 50 bty ships with your 1 bty isn't easy, it IS easy enough to add a few upgrades that help a LOT. Everyone always complains, and it makes you look dumb. Do yourself a favor and quit complaining.
  20. So it's shark unless the duelists decide differently. Doesn't this make it duelist's choice?
  21. Actually, I blame all of HS's pop moving to different zones on the mods NOT silencing the obnoxious, blithering, and offensive idiots as quickly or as long as they should. I've had to leave HS quite a few times because I can't stand someone that's on there. At least with Grav, I could tolerate him, he had some sense behind his stupidity. Now, HS is becoming infested with the kind of noobs that can't even understand the likes of TW. They complain and insult and MAYBE get fined. While fining has a chance of getting someone to shut up, it isn't nearly as likely. I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets tired of idiots claiming to be the master of SS, and I'm sure they cause a loss in pop. I mean really, someone could teach them some manners.
  22. Sounds like a family problem to me. One of my friends was a happener... but he didn't freak out. He looked life in the face, and spat a big loogie at it.
  23. Actually, I agree with Lan. Not only the staff, but the entire population, at least the ones that matter, are very quirky. That's what makes the zone so great. Personally, I think the zone itself really sucks, and in many ways, are completely noobish, what with the horrible unbalance and the supership settings. But, it has a nice idea behind it, and it works, and across the whole of SS it's rare you find anything better. I dare any of the rest of you that would complain about the zone to make a better one. That includes you, Grav. When they do work, they're very good at it, and they try to keep people happy. Maybe they're a bit picky in doing this, but as a general rule, they understand the human element of the zone, which isn't something I see zone staff do. Brain's managed to create a zone that's largely friendly and a great place to hang out. The only complaint I really have is that the mods should be quicker to use their silences and bans on people like Grav and anyone else who's gonna come disrupt the peace.
  24. Lol, I don't know what those green things were at the top, but they were really cute. Nowhere near as cute as those incredibly cute kitties, though. Gah, the avatar was so cute!
