I would love to get out a ride a few of those places. Best place I have been to so far was the Yorkshire Dales, endless natural and technical single track! Pleasantly of hills....

The simple answer is you often spam and annoy people. A cirtain amount of it we can put up with but occasionally you derail a thread and/or start arguments that are detremental to the whole form. Post away in the lounge as long as you don't upset/annoy people, and if you have nothing constructive to say in any other board then dont press the post button. The fact that you have been banned several times should act as warning enough, However since you asked politely(ish) why I wont ban hammer you now. More of the same crap and it will be bye bye though. No warnings, no nothing.

It is a hardtail http://fisherbikes.com/bike/model/marlin They are the best bikes to start with as they force you to use correct technique, whereas a full suspension bike lets you get away with more mistakes. Even after riding for several years I still can't bring myself to go full bounce. Mostly because over the terrain I ride an HT is faster, and you get a better bike for the money (ill probably get a full sus when I get paid more and have a (£2000-2500 budget )

get the road bike, and discover the wonders of extended commutes to /from work. or if you have good trails take the dirty route

Yeah I ride quite a lot. Mostly XC/trail for me and a lot of road to go with it (its kinda flat where I live) Was racing in a 6 hr XC enduro a couple of weeks back what sort of riding are you into that bike is going to fall apart on you. If you are on a budget get a hard tail when you have to replace it. I have a Giant hard tail atm, hope to buy something like a whyte 19 http://www.rutlandcy...mpaign=pid30007 or possibly a nice on-one carbon XC whippet custom build http://www.on-one.co...c-whippet-frame within a year or two though.

If your moving to promote the community it is somewhat of a double edge sword, since SSGN has been around for a few years now? So it has it's niche on the internet, and became known. So you will lose whatever benefits that 5+ years of being in the same spot gives you. But I don't know if I would call this the last move, Subspace is getting older and older, and more and more less viable. If priitk doesn't update this client, it may as well just be replaced by the many new clients out there. I have already seen many old games from 1997, losing support, and being remade 10x better in a new client. And much of the community transferred over with few casualties. It may not be called subspace in the future. It's continuum right now. Though a subspace domain is a good idea. Also abolishing the main page is a good idea. I was thinking that myself when I first used the forums. The main page needs to go. Apply all it's content directly into the forum atmosphere. But yeah I agree members having control of content is a good idea, you guys do have a bit to learn from me. I agree that there is a risk of alienation through a domain change, but with the right front page information and a redirect it will not be a problem IMHO. Most people will acceept a we have moved message and/or a redirect. I personally still navigate via www.ssforum.net because it is engrained from years of visiting this site. Doesn't matter to me that it is redirected. The key for this issue in the longer term is upkeep of the domain names.

I am not in for a ban, authough I have been tempted a few time to restrict posting ability to select forums in the past. Avast, you are an active user, which is good, but you do go out of your way to annoy people at times. Perhaps a little thought before clicking the post button might help in future.
