They kept it the way it is by refusing to change their stuck up, stubborn minds about the messed up gameplay they created and that we're still stuck with today. Javelins? You mean the ones who used to play back in the days? Yeah, sure. Most of the other ships don't play anymore either, so there's no need to discriminate the poor javelins. Please don't speak for every javelin who left the zone. People left for various reasons, and the zone was hurt because it had basically been based on the jav since a long time back. This is what Vile wanted to change, and I wasn't against that, because basing the zone on one group is indeed a bad thing, but it's not that group's fault if you can't make events that they like. And you don't need to ruin what the javelin pilots like about the zone to switch focus. All you had to do was offer something better maybe, or at least something that appeals. Unfortunately, staff never succeeded on doing that, and that's why people left. If I remember correctly though, the most players this zone has had in recent days was during a jav event ;/ That's a quite silly and contradictory comment man. Of course they käre about the events they like. And those events were for the biggest part of 17th history what actually gave 17th an iden!@#$%^&*y, those events were what made this zone successful, and that's not an opinion. If you look at the history of this zone, you will see that it's a fact. I was as much of a pub player as most players once upon a time you know, and I wasn't the only one who stopped playing pub after the unnecessary changes occurred. I think this whole Javvers vs. Pubbers thing is very silly, but I can't blame the javvers who decided to stop playing pub, it's completely understandable in my opinion. Pub needed to be upgraded, built on. The possibilities were there, but upper staff at the time couldn't see them and decided to go another route which proved fatal. And that's not an opinion either. As for them not käring about players, wätäfäk? Come on man haha, what the !@#$%^&*. It was a stupid and unnecessary change to begin with. All it did was cause annoyance, and it did effect the gameplay. It actually does effect your performance (to an extent) if the way things look is changed and you're used to how they looked originally. That's why I didn't even play when Vile put up the old ships settings, but in different ships in Halloween some years ago >;P Heheh, actually I read and type a reply to one point at a time >;P! The ideas I offered would've suited 17th's gameplay and theme perfectly and I have explained why a lot of times. It's not like DSB has patent on turf flägging. And besides, when I gave my ideas I was a 17th-only player, so what you said is very untrue. The ideas I offered weren't even mine originally, I just built on ideas that STAFF HAD THEMSELVES ;D before EO and DW resigned and everything went to !@#$%^&* >;P!! But to be honest, as things are now, I don't even want you to try the ideas I presented. Actually I'd be happy if you deleted my Control and NewOldMap arenas.

It depends, really. If your answer is directed to the whole encryption then yes, you're absolutely correct. However, you might have missed the A and B & the X and Y. So if you only answered to the text you quoted then I'm afraid you're terribly wrong. I tried to give a as clear hint as possible while still keeping the Secret Message as a whole elusive by saying "..hoping you know who I mean with 'you'". But, as I tried to subliminally communicate to The Receiver (in hopes that he'd completely comprehend The Message at a later date), the key to the whole message becomes obvious as soon as you figure out who that "you" is. As most creatures who have been placed in a different category than animals for their human intelligence would know, "you" in this käse is not really in static form. If you take it out of context, it might as well mean "me" (I), in which case it would become a recoded code (coded code). This isn't as complicated as it sounds really, it can be compared to the mirror reflection of a coded text (reverse writing like da Vinci's doesn't really count as a code though). If you did understand all of this, then I am truly amazed, for I too believe that you're a complete re!@#$%^&*.

Never liked that version of 17thParallel.com, Nurples' was much better even when it wasn't being updated ;/ Oh and the forums ;/ When we could say we were an independent zone.. The cause of problem was the klazzik.. relying on unreliable people to do the job for you when you're too läzy.. ..hoping you know who I mean with "you" wööt I'm on some Da Vinci Code sh1t!

Bots? Yeah okay we got people who know how to make bots but none who can make good gameplays. It's too bad this game is based on gameplays and not some add-on tool. It is also funsad to see how the SysOps of this zone come and go like fiends in a drughouse, and the ones you wish would go away, stay! THAT SAID, I LOVE 17TH AND I THINK CURRENT 17TH STAFF ROCKS! HIGH FIVE!

1 kill on regular nubi - 1 orange point 1 kill on elite veteran - 2 banana points 5 kills in a row on TiQ (without dying) - 3 ultra multivitamin juice points 1 kill on Delic - Minus 20 overall points Now, you might be thinking "why go for an elite veteran when I can get the same amount of points by killing an easy nubi twice". WRONG! All wrong, so wrong. Everybody knows that 1 banana point equals 10 orange points, which means that killing an elite veteran equals killing an easy nubi 20 times. In some cases, you get a combination of these points award. Like the TiQ award. Hunting him to piss him off is an extremely honorable thing to do, thus the ultra multivitamin points. BUT!!!!!!! At the same time, you will receive 1 orange point (in that case, not all cases) Have I made myself clear? If not, tough luck. I say we go by this point system. Goodbye and happy new year.

Except that the possibility of safetywars is increased. And those "wasted parts" you speak of weren't always wasted. The reason why they're "wasted" now is because of our current population (duh). While removing parts of the map makes the game more focused and intense, it also lowers the full potential of pub. But I suppose it's necessary right now considering the population. But I still think you guys need something new to attract more players, I just don't see why anyone would want to play in 17th pub really. Just my 2 öre.

Either way, if you keep reading something that you don't think is funny then perhaps you have some part of your brain malfunctioning. But to answer your question, I don't know how many logs I have saved, they're too many to count. I got ?log as autocommand and I seperate the ones I feel are worthy for my log collection. Unfortunately the log harvesting has gone down with maybe 3/4 ;/ And TiQ, Convo thread is known for being open to most kinds of comments ;D You can hate as much as you like here, but it's not just for logs. I don't remember it stopping before though, isn't it a bit weird that it started happening after I started having these problems? Although last time I did a trace was awhile ago, so it's very possible that it's unrelated ;/ I've never had this kind of long lasting problems before.

Yeah.. what can I say. In the state that 17th has been in since a long time now, I don't think it really matter what you do. I always believed that sticking to the "true 17th", (which to me means sticking to the theme and the ships and arena settings that go with it) was always the answer. But it's been so long since this has been like that, that the players really lost the sense of what 17th used to be, and got used to.. this. The truth is, 17th hasn't been living up to its name since many moons back now, and I doubt that'll change anytime soon. Good night and happy new year.
