  1. 2 minor corrections. I meant the ps2 (everyone knows the xbox is basically an out of date PC) and I meant buy not bye.
  2. PING Current:90 ms Average:110 ms Low:90 ms High:170 ms S2C: 0.2% C2S: 0.0% No change then. SSCU looses another zone. *sigh*.
  3. I've heard people getting Continuum running on an Xbox. I think it works on VirtualPC but that costs money and you need a good Mac. Solution? Bye a cheap PC from a school! You can probably get a low end Pentinum 2 or something now for £10.
  4. You make it sound like IE was responsible for the "problem". It isn't but IE just loves to make life even more difficult. Maybe if a new mime type was set up and things configured on the browser side things would be handled properly. I don't see why the map editor should be responsible for any of this. Anyone want to propose a name?
  5. Better summary: All generalizations are dangerous including this one.
  6. Ping 194.251.249.182 *packets dissapear off the face of the planet* Uh oh...
  7. The gl!@#$%^&* ceiling analogy is verging on cliche. I'm surprised you hadn't encountered it before. LW: You might want to look at the vote fixing in the most recent elections. Truly representational voting (where EVERYONE votes) has never been done on the national scale and what voting that does occur is fixed/constrained. Whether representational government would work or not depends completely on how its implemented and sadly as you have noted, the only way it could ever happen is if someone from up high decides to break from the established rules and take a risk.
  8. *looks at long line of quotes* *looks at the tiny second post* You really need to learn about impulse control... The less you quote the more interesting the read. Brevity is good.
  9. Who is Bran ma.... You'll be back. etc.etc.
  10. Sounds like recruiting season Hope that training you claimed to be doing pays off Mike... Nurples: didn't you say you were going to raise a certain issue for me?
  11. So you plan on forcing every country to trade with to follow your rules? Good luck.
  12. Depends on how you define culture and religion. Humans will always have irrational beliefs or misbeliefs for any number of reasons.
  13. Just pointing out that the EU isn't perhaps the best case study to use.

My points exactly and expressed very clearly. Thankyou. However, beware of using vaporous figures... I think its time we did some research of our own. Also note that in an objective trial where a robbery was filmed first with a typical CCTV camera and then a broadcast quality television camera, it was found that 60% of people misidentified the suspect even with the high quality camera. However, the make of gun and the way its held, bodylanguage, posture etc. is still accurately preserved by the cameras and this can be used as cir-*BAD WORD*-statial evidence.
  15. Yes actually but they're populararity differs greatly depending on which region you look at... If we're talking metaphorically many politician's organise "witch hunts".
  16. I thought the EU was more of an example of how things didn't work. EU laws are routinely flaunted and the Euro is under strong criticism...

  20. And that only concerns the developer as the lvz files are not uncompressed anymore...
  21. Akai lives in a dream world too but his one is more fun...
  22. They'd love for that to happen providing they ran it. If you read your sci-fi then you'd know that many people think thats how the world should be run and you'd also be familiar with the limitations and the difficulties of running it.

You live in a dream world MM, where the world is full of thugs for you to use as target practise and where you can always count on passers-by to save to day with gunfire and a witty remark. Where bounty hunters are a necessary reality, where the police are window dressing and its Kill or Be Killed ™. Maybe to you thats all there is but in the real world there are better solutions.
  24. Depends on how they respond to Asia I think. North Korea is sounding ugly and China seems to be pushing for space as well as growing in power. The US need to find a good solution to both of those as well as balancing domestics (not a simple task with such a big country). I'd be interested in what happens next.
