  1. You posted this same thing more than a year ago. How did that slip by you, exactly? http://forums.minegoboom.com/viewtopic.php?t=8230
  2. I disagree with your premise, but even so, how are democracy and peace synonymous? If that were the case, one could never hope to have peace while there are non-democratic nations on the earth, like China, Russia and Iran (the people he's supposedly making peace *with*). I like the fact that everything you cited either didn't happen at all, or happened more than 11 days into his term.
  3. It's loads better than Vista, but I'm not convinced that it's better than XP. I'm using the beta Windows 7 on my laptop because XP wont install with the new hardware.
  4. It's equal to the length of a side of the square (one, in this case), and it's easy to explain. The ladybugs are always crawling at right angles to each other. This means that their motion is always completely toward each other (no wasted motion), and they must travel the original distance, and no more. Yes, I believe it's a logarithmic spiral.
  5. I'm in the process of learning python, so I threw together a script. The script generated a list of all possible sets of two integers X and Y (less than 50). It then threw away all possibilities where there was just one item in the list to give X*Y It then threw away all possibilities where there was just one item in the list to give X+Y It then threw away all possibilities where there was just one item in the list to give X*Y It then threw away all possibilities where there was just one item in the list to give X+Y It then generated a new list of all items where there was just one item in the list to give X*Y It then outputted all of the items in the new list which had just one possibility for X+Y. [6, 1] was the only output.
  6. 6 and 1. I brute forced it, though.
  7. Why go to all the trouble of hunting these people down, only to ask them generic questions? I don't mind the humorous questions, but I feel like there should be at least a few customized to the person and their achievements. Reading the interview, you should have some idea of what the guy actually does (or did). It's acceptable for the interviewer to provide the background information as part of the questioning, too. That makes it so you don't get people bragging about their own accomplishments.

    Rare in game

A lot of those people haven't logged in recently.
  9. Selling out allies to enemies is the definition of wrong.
  10. link? NOTE: I'm pulling a lot of these subjects from memory, and googling for articles talking about them. The links themselves may not be totally on topic. 11. He's certainly alienated our closest allies. But somehow I don't think that's what you meant by engage. Are you referring to the voting for the nomination, or the voting for the prize? Source? There were 11 days between his inauguration and his nomination for the prize (two weeks was generous by 20%). About half of the news articles I've read have mentioned that figure. I'm too lazy to find a non-controversial one to link to.
  12. His personal struggle should have no bearing on the Nobel Peace Prize. It's about how much you've done for peace, not about how much you've bettered your own personal life.
  13. You'll notice that the post you quoted said nothing about making a positive mark, just making an important mark.
  14. It is fixed. I restarted the zone.
  15. One could say the converse about you (except that there's no such thing as impartiality). And how is that a valid argument, exactly? Because most people in the country believe it, it must be true/false?
  16. Yeah, Bak has all the luck. All I have is these lousy mole people to help me code ASSS.
  17. The voting actually ended two weeks into his term. So not only had he done nothing, he had done *nothing*.
  18. Those three you mentioned are made-up issues. They have no relation to reality, only to legislation.
  19. Economics isn't a zero sum system. Just because there are more people making money doesn't mean someone else is losing out. Overpopulation also isn't a serious concern. The earth could easily support trillions or quadrillions of humans.
  20. You say that you find the current method to be poor compared to connecting to your own dedicated server. Might I ask how you're doing that? It seems like if you've already got it to a point where you can evaluate it, you don't need us to make you something.
  21. If you think he's blaming atheists, then you've completely missed his point.
  22. Perhaps you've never noticed that Continuum doesn't lose messages during packetloss either.
  23. Can you blame the guy? He's been taken out of context so many times it's ridiculous.
  24. A chatnet proxy will make it extremely easy to be caught in someone else's ban.
