I totally agree with you pacman, this shouldnt be tolerated anywhere. The WWII has happened 50 years ago, but we should never forget it, dkr. The error you have might not occur with ordinary windows programs. It might only occur when, f.ex subspace, sets a video mode which makes your graphics card do weird things and makes your computer reboot. So it might just be your Gamer card? What I suggest you do, is to put another graphics card into your computer, or remove your Gamer card (what is that anyway) and then see if you still have the problem. -MMaverick

A computer usually reboots while in a program if that program (or game) writes data to the memory or does requests to the processor that are not allowed. The computer reboots to minimize damage to the processor or memory. This can happen with graphics drivers, which try to do things to the graphics card that are not allowed. Its a hard problem to solve, best thing is to revert to the most current drivers you know that worked. Also check your device manager for any conflicts. -MMaverick
